It was an all-Slovenian final in Split as two namesakes, Blaz Rola and Blaz Kavcic, took on each other in a final between two players that are extremely accomplished at this level. Meanwhile, the Challenger 50 format keeps giving great opportunities to underrated players, this time the ones to benefit the most were Pedro Cachin and Nuno Borges.

Next-Gen is really coming on the Challenger Tour as 18yo Dominic Stephan Stricker and 20yo Zizou Bergs had very dominant weeks in Lille and Lugano. Zadar saw a few surprising runs too but ended up with a much more regular customer, Nikola Milojevic, clinching the title. What's coming for Challenger fans next week?
After a very diverse week on the Challenger Tour, Europe will regain its hegemony of the circuit. But before that, let's talk about what happened at the last event in Biella, Sebastian Baez's unbeaten run or a heavily-American field in Cleveland.
The ATP Challenger Tour circuit stopped in Saint Petersburg and Biella this week and, as always, there was plenty of entertaining action. A maiden champion was crowned in Russia, whilst in Italy, the title went to a more established name.
We had two maiden winners on the circuit this week, Zizou Bergs and Carlos Gimeno Valero. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Czech Tomas Machac clinched the title in Nur-Sultan. The Next-Gen is strong as ever!
The Challenger Tour visited Kazakhstan and the Canary Islands this week. Mackenzie McDonald backed up his Australian Open performance with a near-perfect week, while Enzo Couacaud emerged out of a very even field at Gran Canaria.
