Poseidon makes his appearance in this Greek Mythology Series for the first Time even though he’s been mentioned before by Nyx, Athena and Medusa. However, you’ll get to meet a god so resentful that he’s been recluse and has chosen to remain in his kingdom on the sea bed making his krakens do what they do but I always thought there was something else in that story so here’s my humble take on the myth.

Poseidon Short Description:
Poseidon is the god of the sea and waters, as well as of horses and earthquakes. This is why so many temples are dedicated to him both along the coasts and inland. On fountains Poseidon is often depicted as a formidable man with a wild beard, sometimes with his companions, the Tritons, which are fish with human torsos.
Welcome to another Greek Mythology entry where we will explore a little known Greek mythology god named HYPNOS, one who showed to me through signs on a drive through town the other day. Pretty enigmatic character and one who will reveal some secrets to yet another Greek god whose identity is not revealed but will later on make an appearance.

HYPNOS BIO
Hypnos was a primordial deity in Greek mythology, the personification of sleep. He lived in a cave next to his twin brother, Thanatos, in the underworld, where no light was cast by the sun or the moon; the earth in front of the cave was full of poppies and other sleep-inducing plants.
Never would I have pictured Athena being such a diva untIl Dee TruePoetry read this piece on Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and spin it in such a wicked way. I took the liberty of making her a little wicked here because, after all, she did a number on Medusa, the naive priestess in her temple. One never knows a goddess true intentions but it’s fun to play with a chatacter’s dark side, don’t you think?

It all started with Zeus’ Opus but now the God of Sky and Thunder has become a mortal living in the streets of L.A. and he isn’t very happy about the treatment he’s getting lately… That’s the premise of Zeus in the Real World and who’s more appropriate to read it but Zeus himself Mr. Crossing! He’s done a fabulous job voicing this character and I had quite a lot of fun with this one so prepare yourselves with your favorite snack and beverage, get your headphones 🎧 or ear buds for there are plenty of special effects on this one and it’s highly recommended.

I felt inclined to share this poem Marvin in the Sky on a live on TikTok and invited my friend Rail Crawford @rizzailarts2020 to co host and hear it for the first time. Dream-Time Coach, Tyrone Brown
In the past I had no idea I would some day be a dream-time coach, and didn't even know that was a thing, but it’s what the Universe had in mind for me. Like many of us, I was frustrated with how the world was, and having to work a 9-5 job I didn't like was all pulling at my heart. It created stress and this uncomfortable feeling of discontentment with life. But I felt and thought “there has to be more, this can’t be it”.
One especially frustrating day was the tipping point which led me to eagerly looking for “something else”. This wonder and wander into the mind brought up memories of various "unexplainable" events I had over the years since childhood in sleeping dreams and waking reality that were clues to this “something else”. Countless psychic precognitive moments, knowing someones name when meeting them for the first time, having a vision of a friend later finding out that at that moment of the vision the friend was on her way to the hospital, having a dream of someone I hadn’t seen in years then seeing them that next day, and one that many of us have experienced is thinking of someone the moment before they call or text you.
Reflecting on these moments and this deep feeling that there was “something else”, something beyond the world we see with our physical eyes, really brought up a deep curiosity to explore further.
Eventually in this exploration I discovered yoga, meditation and mindfulness. I quickly found these practices helped to relax and quiet my mind enough that I was getting a stronger feeling of the presence of this “something else” and eventually even getting glimpses into IT.
But what is IT?
More and more my outside experiences were validating the knowing I had inside and in a gradual fashion more began to be revealed to me.
Yoga was my “gateway” practice that led me into studies in various forms of healing modalities (energy medicine, shamanism, light work, intuitive guidance, and working with guides).
I started having waking visions of how the world and mind works, and direct clear communications in my sleeping dreams of beings or “spirit guides” dropping profound wisdom and teachings to me.
There was no turning back…
The wild, beautiful and mysterious events shared above ultimately led me to supporting others on their journey of healing, and living to their fullest happiest most fulfilled potential.
I now utilize and incorporate my lifelong studies and exploration of dreams, with 30 combined years of practice and studies in shamanism, energy medicine, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and intuitive guidance to help others around the world awaken to their true potential.

My name is Mary Elizabeth Gonzalez. I am 53 years young. I am divorced, a Mother, grandmother, sister, author and entrepreneur.
Just 3 years ago, I was a shell of a woman who was going through the motions of life, just existing. I had hit my rock bottom three years after my Mother passed away. At 49, I had become tired of being tired with everything in my life. I was in a 26-year toxic marriage, 3 pounds shy of weighing 300 and depressed. Motivational speaking. Talking about my journey and how I dealt with and overcame a toxic, verbally abusive marriage. I talk about my Faith and how that has been thee most pivotal moment in my life. I also talk to young girls/ladies about the importance of self-esteem.
I can now add author to my list of accomplishments. I wrote my first book! I am so very excited about that! Never in a million years would ever think that I, the one that couldn’t write an essay in high school to save my life, wrote a book! And yes! It is available here on my site.
What’s next?
More books, traveling the world sharing my story to as many people as I can. I want to inspire many and let them know that it’s never too late!

The story first began when he self-published his first novel, Heroes Volume 1, back in his senior year of high school in 2012. Since then, he has written and published numerous titles which include Evolutions of Darkness (2016), Into Darkness Short Stories (2017-Present), and his recent fiction work includes WayWard Hills: The Mind of Em (2020).
He is also a poet and lyric writer, Deon has written lyrics and poetry since he was young and recently started doing spoken word back in 2016. He debuted his first lyric collection I Guess This Is What Love Feels Like in 2015 which he followed up with Possibilities & Heartbreak Love Stories Vol.1 (2018). His other collections include The Dreamscape Confessions (2017), The Strength To Love You: Possibilities Vol. 2 (2019), and Ghost & Breath: Heartbreak Love Stories Vol.3 (2020). He plans to add to his collection with Peace & The Black Poet: Moonlight which is due for release in 2021.
In addition to being an author, he has hosted his own online radio show on Blog Talk Radio, been a panelist for Gamers & Nerds United, served as the creator, main host, and moderator for the Unscripted & Unsupervised Podcast, and is currently working on a new show title The Deon Durr Show.
