Prior to moving back to Texas, Ortiz completed his Masters Degree at Middle Tennessee State University. He is an extremely talented individual with great insight on Texas band culture, standards and benchmarks for teaching and evaluating percussionists, method books, percussion performance, vast musical genres and numerous other topics. Drew is a content creator, performer and percussionist based out of Hattiesburg, MS.  He teaches at Sacred Heart Catholic School where he has established a unique non-competitive program that primarily focuses on three cultures of drumming: rudimental, drum set and Samba. Drew talks about his mission and philosophy as an educator, content creator and human and why said roles are not mutually exclusive.

Vinson McMurtery is a resident of Stockholm, Sweden where he is a freelance drum set artist and music educator at the Internationella Engelska Skolan Hässelby (the International English School). His career includes recording with names such as Andy Narrell and performing with diverse artists across the genre spectrum. He is also a drummer at Hillsong Sweden and performs at services across several campuses.
