Connecting in the CALD Community is a project funded podcast by Northern Volunteering. This time focosing on mature aged migrants 50 years and over. The particpants were able to relate their stories in a safe space to talk about their culture, connection, tackling ageism and volunteering. These stories are shared in the aim to breakdown barriers of culture and combat lonliness. On behalf of Northern Volunteering, we hope that you enjoy!

This podcast was recorded at the Northern Adelaide Migrant Resource Centre with a group of women from Myanmar.

It is then followed up by a song of worship by two young gentleman also from Myanmar.

The students were asked to talk how they celebrate Christmas or any other special event.

The students was asked to talk about the differences between Australia and their country of origin.

The students were asked to talk about what they are most passionate about.

The students in this podcast were asked to talk about freedom and life in Australia.

The TAFE SA Adult Migrant English Program students spoke about the importance of learning the English Language.

For this episode of Mosaic Tales, 4 students speak about what food means to them.

This podcast is the first pilot program with the students from Salisbury TAFE. The students spoke about their happiest day for RUOK Day.

This podcast is also the catalyst for the for the beginnings of Mosaic Tales - stories from near and afar.
