We look forward to taking this journey with you through self-love, relationships, career and community. We aren't perfect, and we don't pretend to be. In fact, we're happy to talk about what we get right, but we think its more important to talk about what we got wrong. || About the hosts: Katie is a 40-year-old, OCD, book club dropout who believes there is never a bad time for bubbly! She is a mother of two young children while building a small business of her own. Amanda is a travel junkie always up for an adventure and is fueled by tacos and margaritas. She is a 40-year-old single mom of two tween boys and takes her marketing career very seriously.

In this episode we will continue to the conversation around authenticity as it relates to our family dynamics and the roles we play. Figuring out who you are and living authentically can be challenging enough, but adding in all the roles that come with life…daughter, mother, wife who you are can get lost in the roles we play.

Amanda and I have different perspectives that we will bring to this conversation and it allows you into the history of what has shaped the versions of who we are today.

Being authentic means that you act in ways that show your true self and how you feel. Rather than showing people only a particular side of yourself, you express your whole self genuinely. That means to succeed in being authentic, you first have to know who your true self actually is. It can be really hard to live authentically each and everyday. We as mothers, professionals, partners and friends know this all too well.

We will dive into our own struggles with authenticity on this episode. We look forward to sharing personal stories and our hope is that you find comfort in knowing you are not alone on this journey to living outloud and being the most authentic version of yourself.
