In this episode, Elisha chats with Madison Marsh: Future Bomber Pilot, Advocate, and Pageant competitor. Madi shares her heart for serving others by being in the military and a pageant titleholder. Her “why” when competing in pageants is so much deeper than her stage performance, it’s about making a difference in your community.

“Madison is a junior at The United States Air Force Academy as an astrophysicist. She hopes to be a bomber pilot, astronaut, and Congressional lobbyist. She is passionate about creating better research and patient care for pancreatic cancer, a disease that took her mom. In her free time, Madison loves to fly planes, read books, and cook.”
“Most of the time you compete you aren't going to be holding a title. The stage part of pageantry is not what matters to me. It’s the impact you can make. Use your voice for good things. “For women to be the best versions of ourselves we deserve access to higher education and for me that would not be possible without scholarships. To have support from an organization that cares about uplifting women and providing them with those opportunities is so special.”Ashley shares about her impact initiative, Animal Welfare Advocacy. She gives us insight on the issues facing the canine community and how we can find the facts to take best care of our animals. She explains her preparation for Miss Colorado and how to find what drives you.

"Ashley Main is a 24 year old Biochemistry and Pre-Veterinary student. She has dedicated her life to caring for animals and sharing the importance of animal welfare. As a resident, student, and employee in Colorado Springs she represents her own community with her title, Miss Colorado Springs. Her goals include becoming a veterinary surgeon, representing her state by winning Miss Colorado this year, and continuing to advocate for protective legislation for animals."

In this episode, Elisha chats with Christa DeMaio, America's Miss Sweetheart 2021 about inclusivity in pageants and beyond and why woman empowerment kept her coming back to pageantry.
Christa DeMaio, Americas Miss Sweetheart 2021, is a 24 year old Jersey girl. She works at a day program as a job coach for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and coaches youth cheerleading. In her off time, Christa loves to bake, go to the beach, play with her dogs, and volunteer in her neighborhood. Christa is super excited for her reign as Americas Miss Sweetheart.
Christa is a national title holder for America's Miss Sweetheart and represents her platform "Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Awareness" OR "IDD Awareness" by sharing that everyone has the capability to live the life they want. "Everyone is able to live a life they want, and people with disabilities is just as important as those of us without disabilities."

A chat about pageants, the modeling industry, winning national titles, and overcoming doubt with the reigning USA National Teen, Bailey Guy.
Bailey Guy is a 19 year old Journalism major and literacy advocate who was recently crowned USA National Teen 2021 on July 10 in Orlando. At 12 years old she created her own literacy organization called, “Be a Reader, Be a Leader” which encourages children to find joy in reading. Since then, she has donated over 6,000 books to kids across Tennessee and even addressed the Tennessee State Senate about literacy. She has previously held the title of Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2019 and represented Tennessee in the Top 15 at the Miss Teen USA pageant in Reno-Tahoe, Nevada.
In this episode, Elisha Joy and Bailey have an open and honest conversation about overcoming failures and not holding yourself back. “I feel like all of my greatest failures have come directly before my greatest successes.”Bailey is a national pageant titleholder who has experienced first hand the IMPACT pageants can make on a young woman's life.
