In a system designed by society to be exclusive, it’s been difficult to find where we belong. There is a continuous search, trying to fit in to places that weren’t made for us. Thankfully, we were able to find our own place in the financial services industry. We owe it all to the ones who paved the way. In this episode, we are glad to have with us one of the most well-known pioneers in our industry, Saundra Davis. She is a US Navy veteran, financial coach, educator, and consultant who is nationally recognized as an expert in the financial coaching field. After serving in the Navy, she went on to serve her own community through financial coaching. Entering an industry where it felt like she didn’t belong, she discovered and made her own space. She built a pathway for the people behind her. That’s one way we can build diversity. If you can’t find a space, make one! It’s not only for you now, but it’s also for the next generation who will continue the work that you do. Episode Highlights:
