Our feature guest today is Pepe Clark Magana. He is a professional drummer for the rock band KYNG and owns Let There be Rock schools in El Paso, TX. His story starts when we met in kindergarten. What's your dream? It's not every day you meet someone following their dream, really following their dream and not willing to compromise themselves to realize the dream. Today's spotlight showcases Michael Jedrzejewski, an aspiring screenwriter pursuing his dream in Hollywood. His story starts well before this one as an immigrant from Poland in the 1980's. His family followed their dream to live in the US. He continued his dream to write and be true to himself and his art. The rug was pulled out from under him multiple times and then there was the diagnosis that changed his life. I can't think of a more quintessential American Hollywood Dream story than Michael's. We talk immigration, writing samples, college memories and his life as it is now. In a nutshell, he has a dream, he has integrity, and he has hope.
Ep. 96 - I want to share with our listeners one of the biggest reasons why I wanted to highlight Candace on an episode. It’s not just because she’s cute, or because I adored Fuller House. It’s not the adorable fashion line she has either. All of that is fun and there are other celebrities out there that I could say all of that about. But what has drawn me to Candace and kept me following her these past few years is that she’s had the courage to stand on her convictions and faith.
Candace has her branding ON POINT and I might be wee bit jealous. This is what I’ve always wanted to have - multiple outlets for reaching people, entertaining them, and helping them grow.

The world is expansive, culture is interesting and in this episode we explore the many ways to honor our loved ones who have passed.
While we make look at asylums today as barbaric, they were actually a much better option for people deemed to be “lunatics" (how aful) at least in their inception. Before this time people’s families would lock them in basements, chain them to walls, and deprive them of basic humanity. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding and overcrowding and some just plain awful practices from doctors at the time, many of the patients at asylums suffered the same types of atrocities and sometimes even worse ones. In this episode we explore the real-life horrors that happened in these grandiose institutions, tell a few haunting stories and give you a list of movies to watch if you want to be further creeped out.
