Hey everyone!

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for stopping by to watch me run my mouth as usual😁.

I just had a speak on the subject matter because I've come to realise that a lot of us subject ourselves to the most uncomfortable situations because of the inability to shun peer pressure in a ll the forms.

As a child, i so looked forward to being an adult. As an adult, I want to be babied.

When is the right time to move out of your parents/guardian's house?

As I stated in the video, the right time to move out us when you are READY. Ready as in stable; I'm talking financial stability, emotional stability and the likes.

This video was inspired inspired my friend who was unable to relocate to Lagos because her family wouldn't budge. As expected, she was quite upset and ranted ceaselessly about how she was moving out of her uncles house because she was tired of being bossed around. The problem is that she doesn't have the financial capacity to support herself__her rent, feeding, transportation and the likes. Also, she has never lived on her own, and it just seems unwise for her to leave in such a manner.

Do I feel some type of a way about her uncle preventing a twenty something year old from trying to make a living on her own? The answer is YES, I do.

Please, tell me, what are your thoughts?

Hello to the beautiful people of the music community. Before you say anything, let’s all laugh at this together! I’m pretty sure James Arthur would have me arrested if he ever hears this version. This is my first ever music entry.

Apparently, it’s one of my favorite songs and I love to just sing along while I listen to it. I was in my Beyonce mood this evening until I placed a camera before my face. I was so uncomfortable and shy hence my bland facial expression. If there’s a next time, I promise to be more expressive. I hope you forgive a first-timer, lol!

Will I be posting a video of me singing anytime soon?

Definitely Not!

Are you allowed to laugh at me?

Absolutely!

PS: My friend @starstrings01 is the only reason i got the nerve to upload this video.

ROSAS: James Arthur & Emeli Sande

Definitivamente no.

ÂżPuedes reĂrte de mĂ?

Por supuesto.

PD: Mi amigo @starstrings01 es la Ășnica razĂłn por la que me atrevĂ a subir este vĂdeo.

ROSES

[feat. Emeli Sande]

You could've chose anybody but you chose me

Hiding in bed-sits 'cause no one around us agrees

And I feel romantic 'cause since morning I've been at the wine

Shall we eat all the poison and leave all the questions behind?

Smells like roses to me

Two young lovers at sea

Tastes so bitter, so sweet

You're my bang

Together we go bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang

And all the chemicals and alcohol make for a volatile love

But stay with me

Just stay with me

And I never wanna lose you but I feel that this closeness will tear us apart

But stay with me

Stay with me

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,

Smells like roses to me

Two young lovers at sea

Tastes so bitter, so sweet

We go bang

Together we go bang, bang, bang

Hey guys!

This is a continuation of yesterday's video.

In the video, I spoke extensively about the importance of finding the right suppliers for your dropshipping business.

As a drop shipper, there are several factors you must consider before choosing your ideal supplier.

Some of the factors I mentioned in the video include;

Quality

What kind of business are you looking to venture into? Are you the one to buy low-quality items and sell them at higher rates?

Is your brand about customer satisfaction, or is it only about filling your pockets?

Integrity

Is your supplier's yes truly a yes? Can you trust your supplier to deliver exactly what a customer has ordered?

Location

Does your supplier have a physical address? Is your supplier located somewhere you can always go if a need arises?

For me, all my suppliers are in Lagos state, and I know exactly where to find them if I need to.

Meanwhile, I also shared a story of how a supplier nearly cost me a good business and a wonderful friendship.

As I mentioned in the video, your supplier has the ability to MAKE or RUIN your business. You just have to decide what you're willing to settle for.

PS: I know I pronounced "blossom" as "blozzom." Please don't ask me why đŸ€Ł.

Thank you for watching!

To my friend @startrings01, I'm putting this up here just so you know that I'm grateful for you. Good friends don't come by every day.

Thank you for constantly pushing this big-headed Omosefe out of her comfort zone every time. Thank you for this friendship.

Hello everyone!

Welcome to yet another episode of Gist with Omosefe!!!

This video is not the usual love, relationship, or life talk.

In the video, I discussed dropshipping in depth, including its definition, what it entails, how to get started, and much more. The following are some of the questions I addressed in the video:

  • What is dropshipping?
  • Is it financially viable?
  • How can you get started with dropshipping?

As I said in the video, there are many levels to dropshipping. There are many others who, like me, stick to the fundamentals. For our various businesses, we use several social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook. Others do it on a far larger scale by utilising well-known platforms like Amazon, Aliexpress, and the likes.

The definition of dropshipping, however, remains the same. Every drop shipper acts as a go-between, a link between the manufacturer/supplier and the consumer/customer.

I understand the video is a little longer than normal, but I promise it's worth every kilobyte.

If you have any additions or subtractions, please share.

If you have questions, please ask me.

Thank you for your time!

Hey everyone.

Long time no videos!!!

Today, I'm sharing a little about Aquaphobia and how I've been able to navigate my way through.

I would always swear that swimming could never be my thing. But now, I'm thinking "Is this how good swimming makes people feel?"

Like I said in the video, fear is an illusion. You can always overcome anything if you put your mind to it. This illusion will cost you so much more than you'd ever imagine. You deprive yourself of making beautiful memories and truly living because you're afraid to try. It won't be easy, not in the teeny tiniest bit, but you have to take a step.

I'd appreciate it if you could spare the time to watch the video till the end. I talked about my fears and the motivation behind me having to swim. It was a drill that I had no other choice but to suceed at. And I did.

PS: I was never a water person so can you blame me if this seems like a big deal to me?

@onwugbenuvictor, I'm tagging you because I know you can't swim to save your life. @reineesmay, just thought you should know that I'm an Olympic swimmer now😌😌.

@joydukeson, I still don't have this voice over thing on lockdown like you, I hope one day I can sound as wonderful as you. Meanwhile, I can swim now😊. @attentionneeded, you should see this. Now, @starstrings01, please get over here and see how much progress your friend is making â˜ș.

Allow me reintroduce myself. My name is Omosefe, and I swim, can you?

Lastly, What was your first real swimming experience like? Did you also have a panic attack?

PS: The sound in the background is a tune from the Power Director App titled

Big Success

Hey everyone😁.

I do hope you're having a good time whenever you are in the world.

So, I made this video a while back but I delayed uploading for a bit because I wasn't sure if I wanted to upload, but hey, I did anyway.

To be your own cheerleader is to encourage yourself every step of the way. It is to push yourself regardless of how many NOs you get.

I hope that you're able to watch till the very end. I also sincerely hope that this video inspires you to feel better about yourself.

Progress is progress no matter what. Baby steps or not, a step is a step, and you're doing just fine.

PS: I’m open to corrections and constructive criticism. Please tell me what you think I can do better with my videos.

Ciao!😘

PS: Video edited by yours truly😊😊.

(My editing skills are quite rusty, but I'll get there soon enough).

Please watch the video with your earpiece or airpods for better hearing.

So, I went to a local market not too far away from where I live, and I was compelled to make a video after pricing a few things. Have you noticed that everything is expensive?(from a Nigerian POV) . At this point, it doesn't seem to matter what you buy, no single item is exempted, not even the razor blades we used to buy for just N5. It’s alarming.

You see, In the past, consumer prices have always risen with inflation. Prices for many goods have gone up in recent times, and many people have adopted a new way of thinking about their spending habits.

While there is no way to keep up with inflation, a few of the tips I recommended because they’ve helped make my market experience even better..

  • Take double the money you kept for each item
  • Slash your market list by a half
  • Only buy what’s necessary
  • Buy according according to order of importance

Now, notice how I spend time haggling prices and asking questions, yeah? It’s a Nigerian thing. One trader attributes the price increase to the insecurity issues plaguing northern Nigeria, another blames it on the gap between the US dollar and naira.

When Our very own Nigerian artiste ‘Tems’ sang that ‘crazy things are happening’ song , she must have had this issue in mind as well. Half the time I had to ask the sellers to repeat the prices they already mentioned just so i could be certain i heard correctly.

Meanwhile, the pepper seller actually sold me the N600 pepper I asked for off record.

—--

I’d also like to point out that the Vol. 2 of the ‘Yesterday’s price is not today’s price’ series will be so much more enlightening.

Here’s why; the amazing @josediccus will be joining me on the show. So, guys, I implore you to stay tuned, and watch this space.

Meanwhile, do you think the notable increase in price of food items is a global issue or just a Nigerian thing?

How expensive are food items in a local market around you?

Do you believe that the Naira will gain on the dollar someday?

What do you think is the reason for the incessant increase in the price of food items today?

Peace✌✌.

PS: All the sellers in the video gave me permission to use their videos.

Hello everyone, I do hope you’re having a day as good as mine!

Every other day, I'm raving to folks about how leaving my safe space stresses me out. Parties, casual get-togethers, and anything else beyond the bounds of my office or home worried me to the core. However, I made a promise to myself to go out, have fun, and relax. And you can bet I've been keeping my end of the bargain!

Last time it was with a couple other hivers. This time, it was a dear friend, @starstrings01. I should also mention that I had a good time.

When I say Hive has benefited me in more ways than I can count, I mean it. I met some fantastic folks, including Star (as I like to call him), @ksam, and @jossedicus, to name a few.

—

Starstrings and I chose Genesis Cinema in Ikeja City Mall, ICM. The plan was to meet around 12: 30pm. The chosen movie was Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Before I go any further, I’d like to add that we Africans and our African timing are like two opposite sides of a coin. One is never without the other. I'm sure you can guess where this is headed. Despite making all our plans well in advance, we were unable to meet up due to two reasons; the first was that he he left home about an hour later than agreed, the second reason was Lagos traffic.

The fact is that he was coming from a long distance and chose to come all the way to ICM because it was closer and more convenient for me. My kind of gentleman. I reiterate this at every opportunity I get, Star is a very kind person.

Well, we decided to settle for whatever the next movie was (3:00pm). It really didn’t matter what movie we saw, it was meeting again in person that actually mattered to us.

Now, here’s where things gets crazy. Just when Star calls to tell me to leave my house for the cinema, it starts to rain heavily. I’m talking thunderstorms, heavy wind, lightning, etc, the type of rain that make it appear as though like day turns into night.

Mind you, this was the second time I had to take my clothes off. I started to believe that the cosmos was conspiring against our movie date. Under different circumstances, I would have cancelled the meeting, but this time, I couldn’t because it was with @starstrings01, and he had come a very long way simply to see a movie with me. I couldn’t afford to disappoint.

I resolved to make it to the movie date come hell or high water, rain or shine. Since the rain wouldn’t let me head out, Star decided to find me an Uber driver who was willing to drive in the terrible weather. Yes, we found one in no time , and voila, I made it there.

*MOVIE TIME:*

There were several other movies to choose from, but I stuck with Sonic the Hedgehog regardless.

In a nutshell, the movie was awesome! I’d give you details, but I'm trying not to be a spoiler. Besides, @starstrings01 is working on a juicy review of this movie for your reading pleasure.

I had a swell time; we talked, we laughed, I slept off a few times because it was so chilly ( which I denied vehemently every time he asked if I was sleeping), and he wouldn’t stop eating my popcorn under the guise that he had finished his. Lol.

Usually, my social battery doesn’t last for so long, but this time, I had more than enough energy to chill out, but we had to call it a day because of Lagos traffic!

Thank you for a beautiful evening Starstrings.

Do I recommend seeing this movie? Oh yes I do.

Would I see another movie with @starstrings01? Of course I would!

Hi everyone🙂.

So, it's the third episode of Gist with Omosefe and I figured I'd upload this instead. I made the video yesterday night, hence, the quality.

Yesterday, I was deep in thoughts, you know, just reflecting on a conversation I had with a friend, and I figured I'd just put my thoughts to good use.

Even now, I do not exactly know if this is an appropriate topic to bring into limelight, but hey, I did it anyway.

I know @reineesmay will start by calling me a lover girl before she sees the video completely, and I understand, lol.

I said this in the video and I'll type it here;

"You may be an amazing person, but you can't be amazing to everyone.

You may be Sheila's amazing, but not necessarily Esther's kind of amazing.

You may be Rachel's dream man, but not anywhere near Winnie's kind of amazing.

The truth is people deal with heartbreaks differently, and that's completely okay. The question is, how do you deal with yours? Did you start to feel insecure afterwards?

If you watched till the end, please answer the questions. You can even share your worst heartbreak(breakfast) stories, I'm here for all of that.

You. Yes, you. If you didn't watch my video, please go back. I'm serious, watch it and you'll be glad you did. This write up doesn't do justice to the video. I gave a premium gist in that video, you can't miss it, trust me.

I'd ag my friend @onwigbenuvictor to come say a thing or two, but lately he's been claiming that he's not a man of love. Too bad.

@ksam, I wouldn't mind you telling us a few things about why you're single to stupor o. Is it by choice? Are you taking your time like me?

@atyourservice, I didn't want to tag you o, I just couldn't resist the urge of having a fine lady like you give her two cents.

I'm inviting @reineesmay, @estherscott @ozohufaith @joydukeson @wolfofnostreet (please don't get mad at my tag, pleaseeee😭) to share theirs, but they are married. Phew!

To the married geng, what's your best advice for someone who got served breakfast? Heal for a while or move on to the next available wagon?

I'd tag @readthisplease (my bad, I already tagged him), but our formerly rosy friendship is nearly non-existent now, so, I doubt he'd respond

Plus, now would be a good time to tag your friends with breakfast stories🙂

If you didn't watch that video, I hope you know that I know, lol. Go back pleaseđŸ„ș

Thank you for watching. Love you!

PS: My editing is a little rusty, but it'll get better🙃.

Hello Hivers, long time no video!

Today’s video is not to diss anyone or send a wrong impression. Please enjoy the video to the fullest, and tell me what you think.

The importance of smelling good cannot be overemphasized. Trust me, when you walk around smelling as good as you should, your self-esteem shoots up to 100% whether or not you take note of it. This is why I do not joke with perfumes.

As I stated in the video, perfumes are not meant to replace soap and sponges, please. Sometimes, you people spoil a fragrance because when it mixes with their long overdue sweaty body, the perfume is confusing. Don’t walk around smelling like a bad air freshener.

Someone said and I quote verbatim “perfume na igberaga shii, the self-esteem na die”, and I felt that.

Thank you for watching!

**Hey Hivers! It’s my first 3Speak video, please be nice.

**

Before you say Jack Robinson, there’s a guy somewhere asking a lady to come over to his house on a first date because his house is supposedly chilled. Miss me with all of that bullcrap please If you’re not meeting somewhere in an open place, you might as well forget it. Call me a scared chicken, lol, I really don’t mind.

Honestly, I tried putting this into writing but my words weren’t exactly interpreting how I felt at the time, I mean my facial expressions cannot be put to words.

Has this ever happened to you? If yes, please tell us in the comments.

Also, I am very open to corrections and suggestions.Thank you for watching!
