A beautiful day and a wonderful moment to end up the month of February being 29th. I'm Friday known on hive as @fasacity. My unreserved appreciation goes to @lordbutterfly and the entire crew for bringing this music competition to week 2 thanks for this opportunity to share my own gifts with folks.

For this edition, I decided to do a guitar work with one of my favourite songs original by minister David Dam. For a couple of months now I have been in love with guitar. He's a worship leader in the famous koinonia in the federal Capital Territory Abuja Nigeria. He was inspired to sing this powerful song when he's spiritual father was on stage ministering then the holy spirit gave him the song. Since then it has become sought after by many even people like me.

I will never be the same is a song that reminds me of my devotion and commitment to God since I gave my life to Jesus and also received Him as Lord saviour. The song assures me that my life will be transformed because I have encountered Jesus via His grace. No matter what I am experiencing, it can't be compared to the grace of God at work in my life. AFRITUNES WEEK 103 SONG BY @fasacity titled "I must go with Jesus."

I'm happy to share this entry with everyone on this community. It has been an awesome moment in the month of February and as far as week 103 is concerned.

I decided to sing this song because of the present challenges that has befallen us as a nation in Nigeria. Truly life has been quite challenging and many have given up because of the untold hardship. In the light of this reflection, I was inspired to sing this simple but heart touching song. There are rough roads, rough decisions, a lot of rough things that one must resolved on who to go with in the midst of this. As for me I'm making such decision to be with Jesus all the time. I don't want to betray or forsake Jesus because of the present hurdles. This song has been different singing organisations within my locality.

I want to also dedicate this song to all our folks around the northern part of Nigeria that there's hope and we can lean on Jesus as we go through any phase of life in this season. I sang the song both in English and Hausa accompanied by guitar. Remember I'm still in the process of learning guitar kindly bear with the kind of progression I struggle to bring out but I hope you will enjoy anyway.

I'm excited to part of this beautiful community also the privilege to participate in week 1 of the vibes music competition. My name is Friday with hive username as @fasacity. When I stumbled on this community, I read through the tips and the intends I knew this is where I ought to belong. Special thanks to @lordbutterfly for such an incredible initiative in birthing this vision. It's not easy at all and I must also commend the commitment in ensuring quality service delivery. Kudos.

The song Adonai was composed and sang by the famous Nigerian gospel minister called Nathaniel Bassey. He has been consistent and good at what he does that's one of the things that inspires me to pick his song to do a cover. Of recent he has been a regular host of a yearly event called hallelujah challenge where diverse music ministers are invited to sing alongside for the period of the challenge.

I have sang the song before but not with guitar. Initially I couldn't get the progression as I wanted which made me almost discouraged but had to persist since practice could lead to perfection. The song Adonai described a dimension of the name of God who is worthy to be praised and none to be compared with Him. He deserves all the glory.

The theme for the week says War. Immediately I saw this, I had to pause for some minutes to chew it to my understanding. I realised that war can be in form of battle or conflict between an entity.

Life itself is a battle hence there is war constantly both physically and spiritually. I chose this song because it really inspired me and boosts my confidence in God no matter what I'm passing through. The original writer, composer and singer of this song also tend to express his deepest desire to the for total deliverance from sin and the snare of the devil.

Vengeance is of the Lord therefore I have learnt to allow God to fight on my behalf. He took the key from hell and gave me so that I can be totally liberated. I have confidence to sing because the burden and my life war has been taken care of.

My entry for hive openmic week 167 with the theme: Otaku. A song cover by @fasacity amazing grace.

Special thanks to all the organisers and participants of this week's engagement. The theme says Otaku which is a Japanese word that took me time to ascertain the meaning and even comprehend to bring forth a song cover thus this.

From the google I got this meaning a person having an intense or obsessive interest especially in the fields of anime and manga —often used before another noun.

This gave me a good premise that Led to the choice of my song. You can have an obsessive interest in music, singing and other things apart from anime and manga.

One of my favourite song and hymn is amazing grace that served wretched like me. God showed me love and mercy even while I was a sinner that was doomed like me. If not because of God's mercy I would have been consumed like others.

Never give up is a great theme which means a lot to me.

We are living in times and seasons where the turbulence of life is just on the increase which makes me almost derail from the goal. The pressure of life is on the increase, the economy and other things aren't just working. Life seems to be on the opposite direction and giving up is creeping in as an option but with this theme, I see a better future and hope.

I have been encouraged never to give up instead to keep pressing and depending on God for grace and help.

This song is a prayer to me for grace never to give but to keep focus inspite of distraction, challenges etc. Follow me as we sing together.

This is my entry for Hiveopenmic week 165. A cover titled how great thou art by @fasacity.

I chose this song because it really ministered to me and also synchronised with the theme for the week.

When I think about God's creatures, the birds, the seas etc I marvelled. His natural act is just amazing and awesome. I'm really in love with whatever God has done.

He doesn't make mistakes like human being.

Everything about Him is perfect and can't be questioned.

The best way I can respond to God's love for my life is to sing of his greatness, majesty, splendor etc. In fact I am part of the nature he has made therefore I ought to give him glory/victory he deserves.

God has given man the earth to dominate, multiply and take charge over everything. What you love is what you cherish. What you love is what you adore. What you love is what you exalt.

My voice is still a challenge but I am optimistic that consistency and persistence would pave way for me someone day therefore kindly drop constructive criticism to spur me and mould me to be better.

My entry for hiveopenmic week 164 with theme: hopeful. A hymn cover by @fasacity titled my hope is built.

Looking at this topic, my thought drifted to the current status of my country Nigeria where things are in disarray.
Many things seems not to be working accordingly.
A country blessed with lots of graduates but high percentage rate of unemployed youths littering the streets.
It's not only the country but individuals as well. Things are becoming difficult for families.

Recently, I faced some challenges and turbulent situation that really made me to redefine my faith and my pursuit of God. I realised that the only succour I have is Jesus Christ. My hope now is in Jesus.

I chose this hymn because it really ministered to me and the wordings especially the chorus lifted my Spirit.

Mirando este tema, mi pensamiento derivó a la situación actual de mi país Nigeria donde las cosas están en desorden.
Muchas cosas parecen no funcionar como es debido.

The theme for the week is DNA. This is an acronym which stands for Deoxyribonucleic Acid scientifically known as hereditary material which is contained in both human and other organisms.

To my understanding, DNA depicts the kind of genetic information an organism carries as it is contained in the parent cell. In line with the song I presented, I have a gene that emanates from Jesus Christ. He's my lord and saviour, comforter and everything. In response to this week's theme which is union. Union means to be joined or be together with something. I chose this song because abide with me remains me of how I need to be more jointed to God because of the evil days we are in. I need to be in union with Christ for my safety, even when the situation seems to be terrible and hopeless.

I'm super excited to participate in this week's edition with the theme GLORY. This reminds of the splendor or majesty or how God has been so faithful to me. He has delivered me from accident just within this week I would have been knocked down by a motor cycle but thank God.

This week I have to appreciate @okayozdemiroglu of turkey for this. This song was composed by two persons Paul Baloche and Lenny Leblanc. I really enjoyed the lyrics of the songs. This process could be life challenges like shelter, food, lack of Job, etc each process might be peculiar to an individual however the focal point is to look up to God for help and total dependence on him.

welcome to my entry for hive open mic week 125 with the theme NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. I will do a cover of a song composed by Ada U. Ehi titled you're able. By @fasacity. One of my slogan in life is all things are possible. Immediately I saw this theme, this song dropped into my heart though I don't know how to sing very well but I believe with time and consistency nothing is impossible. I had to encourage my innermost self before I drop this because I thought it's not possible.

The song expresses the absolute possiblity of God as creator of the universe. There's nothing God can't change and do. In fact what God can not do doesn't exist at all.
