But few people within the protestant church maintain a consistent fasting practice in 2023. Today we explore the purpose of fasting and just how we ought to fast.

The Bible tells us to confess our sins to one another. But for some of us there are about a million things we'd rather do than show that level of vulnerability. In this episode, we explore the power of confession to break the hold that sin has on our life by taking that which is in the dark and dragging it into the light!

Jesus tells us that we are to worship God in "Spirit and Truth". But how do we learn to say no to our sinful desires of the flesh, and yes to the leading of the spirit of God? Today's message is our last foundation-building discussion ahead of our look at specific spiritual practices that are designed to starve the flesh and feed the spirit.
