On this episode I share my story of failure; a story of me attempting to go through the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, the hardest academically demanding school in the military. Been there, done that, failed and came out just fine with a whole new outlook even though it took some time to realize that; maybe 20 years.
Failure is going plague us all. Period. There is nothing you can do about it unless you do nothing at all; and that is the ultimate FAILURE. Don't let yourself or others down because you are afraid of failure; it's going to happen. Press on.

In this episode I talk about perfection and fear and where they stand in my book. I talk about how they affected me in the beginning of starting my podcast and how I overcame them and powered through to get my first podcast guest Jesse Cole, of the The Savannah Bananas. You must start today what you have put off and throw perfection away; it's a fallacy and fairy tale and it doesn't matter anyways.

After my first visit to Ricciardi's in the beginning of the year I knew I would have to return. This time I returned with some backup; my daughters. We made it a Daddy/Daughter date and planned on trying some other stuff on the menu like the Tavern style pizza, a burger and appetizers.
Another successful trip and review; a great place for a family dinner, a date, or just to hang with friends and enjoy good conversation with great food! Oh, and did I mention it is kid approved? If you know, you know what I'm saying.

I visited Debellation Brewery Company in Richmond Hill, GA to try my first craft brews ever. Yes, I know, EVER! It was definitely a great choice for the brewery and an experience that left me looking for more. Debellation Brewery is a great place to find new craft brews and a great location to just sit back with friends and meet new people.
Since they regularly host food trucks at Debellation Brewery I had to try out Keller Wood Fire Pizza while I was there. They are veteran owned and in Richmond Hill, Ga also. The pizza is literally wood fired in an oven at around 750 degrees. The ingredients were quality and fresh and the crust was just right. I give them a 8.2 rating, but don't take it from me, try it yourself.

Never thought a frozen pizza could stand up to a freshly made pizza in a pizzeria. David Portnoy of Barstool Sports has done it and done it well. I reviewed the stone fire supreme pizza that can be found in many grocers, I found it in Kroger with a little Natural Light.
Perfect combo for a late night treat or someone on a budget. Now just waiting for David Portnoy to come to Savannah, GA to do some pizza reviews and hit up some well known Savannah favorites. Enjoy!

Every wondered what made the perfect pizza? I found out recently when I visited Ricciardi’s Pizzeria and Bar in Richmond Hill, GA. Chris Ricciardi invited me into the kitchen to watch the making of a deep-dish Chicago style pizza with only the freshest and most high-quality ingredients. He also made a Chicago style thin crust pizza, but the highlight for me was eating the deep-dish pizza. It was delicious and filling. I ate two pieces and felt like I just ate a whole pie. If you are in the Savannah area you must stop in for some pizza; you will NOT be disappointed. Buon appetito!

I visited Mom’s Spaghetti in Detroit, MI with one of my daughters to see what all the talk was about. I never knew Eminem was a cook, but then again I guess he did work in the industry early in his career. We got spaghetti and meatballs…let me tell you this…1 order will cover at least 2 people.
It is damn good and I highly recommend it if you visit Detroit or going to an event in the downtown area. It is quick, good, and filling. If you try it you will be back...and you may even lose your mom’s spaghetti. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
