Hello and welcome to my podcast, Like Therapy, where I self-reflect out loud as I navigate my journey of self-realization in pursuit of lasting inner peace and happiness. Because who doesn't want that, right? I've been my own therapist (for better or for worse) for the last few years and share with you what I've realized and learned along the way. I wouldn't say I've cracked the code, but I am the happiest and most peaceful I've ever been. Join me if you're into an unfiltered, realistic version of personal growth. I'm here to entertain, teach, and inspire.
Ah yes, I came up with this somewhat unconventional quote that I tend to live my life by while I was living in Berlin. It may be unconventional, but it seems to help me feel a bit more at ease in life and not be "too" hard on myself. I also explain why I took such a long break in between episodes and share a little story about a recent public speaking contest I took part in to finish the episode.
In this episode, I chit-chat with you guys about what's going on in my current life and continue from where I left off in the last episode. I talk about moving to Berlin, what led me to the path of self-realization and what happened just a few short months after this journey began...
In today's episode I talk about learning to acknowledge and trust your inner guidance system AKA your feelings. For me this meant ending a longterm relationship and moving to the land I dreamed of living in my entire life... Germany. Yes, I know a bit bizarre, but I will explain.
This episode is a brief introduction of myself and an explanation of why I chose the title Like Therapy. As well as a small confession of me casually changing the pronunciation of my name while I lived abroad. Although this kind of backfired... :)
