A podcast for YOU, the visionary female entrepreneur, to keep you motivated and inspired on your business-building journey! We discuss topics such as mindset, mental blocks, launching new businesses, hiring, managing, investing, and more!
I am a serial entrepreneur of more than 10 years and an Audacity Business Coach with a mission to help more women create positive impact on the world through their profitable businesses.
I am going to change my name to The Anxious Founder. lol Because the more I do these podcasts the more anxiety I realize I have. That's okay though because knowledge is power!
Time anxiety has been something I have always had - as far back as middle school, but I don't think I've ever heard someone else mention it as if it were an issue before. Recently I had a high achieving client who brought it up and for the first time ever I was like, "Ohhh...this isn't just me!" This episode is just me wondering and googling about it. Please let me know what you think and if time gives you anxiety too!
I'd love to hear your feedback. Please contact me @audaciousfounder on TikTok or IG. Please leave me a 5 star review on apple podcasts and share the Audacious Founder Podcast with your friends!

I met Tracy through a networking event held by another female entrepreneur in the South Florida area about a year to 2 years ago now and have following her business ever since! She started her candle company during the pandemic and now sells online and in her store in Miramar, Florida. Tracy is an amazing human being and as I write this, I'm thinking, "Damn, I really need to hang out with this woman more!" I loved our conversation in this episode and cannot wait to have many more with her.
In this episode she tells me about her background, how she got started, and how things are going!
Topics included:
- How you have to stay creative to keep customers returning
How you define your brand could prevent you from growing
Your fear of success could be preventing you from asking the questions that would allow your business to grow
Does delegation mean giving up control?
Balancing motherhood, a full-time job, and your own business
How journaling helps
The importance of treating yourself
Dating as a strong female entrepreneur
What are your safe zones?

So listen, I love being an entrepreneur. The adrenaline I get from a good brainstorm or business idea is unparalleled! Nevertheless, I won't deny that it created some pretty nasty habits in the ol' subconscious! I noticed the other day how I literally had PTSD from having to always be at the ready for a new problem. What I realized is that I had created this belief that to relax was to make myself vulnerable to negative unforeseen events that would put myself and my businesses at risk. What I didn't realize was that it was this belief that was actually creating the risk!
In this episode:
The anxiety caused by having to "put out fires" all the time
Feeling out of control
Feeling contentment
Childhood depression
Taking medication
My first taste of extreme, genuine joy
The guilt of being a mom and an entrepreneur
Being able to notice the emotions and the triggers for them
Figuring out how to sustain or recreate certain emotions
The false beliefs we lead our lives by
The consequences of being at the mercy of your programmed thoughts
The moment just before reaction
Your subconscious is your protector

When is a baby a baby and other abortion-related questions. In this episode we talk about a lot of topics surrounding the reversal of Roe V Wade. We postulate the reasoning behind it, and we discuss Leslie's general thoughts on it before and after working as a pediatric nurse in the ICU.
Leslie sees babies coming into the intensive care unit who have just been born and who some of which, might possibly have been better off not so...I know that is a hard statement to stomach, it's not easy for me to say or write either. When we think about abortion though, I think many people have a unidirectional view - that is, they consider only the irresponsible people who are playing recklessly with the lives of the unborn and assume that every baby brought into the world will be better for it.
Many people, people who are making the decisions for the rest of us, don't seem to consider how children brought into a life of instability, hostility, and impairment, may in reality not be better for it. Additionally, how those surrounding them may not be better for it. These conversations, while uncomfortable at times, are things we need to be analyzing and sorting through so as to come to our own distinct and educated opinions surrounding matters that, in this case, are life and death.
TRIGGER WARNING: If you've gone through abortions or lost children, this may be triggering or you. If you think it might be, then I advise you not to listen. If you'd like to reach out to me for any reason, I'd be happy to hear from you: hello@audaciousfounder.com
Topics include:
Abortion
The privilege of being able to give your child opportunity
Consequences of having a child in unfortunate or unideal circumstances
The idea that the upper class is trying to keep the middle class broke
When is a baby actually considered a baby as opposed to just tissue?
What is normal when it comes to tracking your cycle?
Feminism
Being able to tolerate opposing viewpoints

This is an intro coaching call I had with Kelsa recently and I loved our session so much that I asked her if I could share it. She generously said yes!
Kelsa is a full time librarian who owned her own photography business back in the day. She ended up discontinuing it because it wasn't fun anymore. During the pandemic she was called to take yoga teacher certification training and is now wondering what to do with it, fearing it may turn out like the photography business.
In this episode we talk about:
How your business can be the way you express your gifts to the world
Thinking of money in terms of the value you are providing
How you might be invalidating yourself without even realizing it
A new perspective on your fears
What a lovely human and I can't wait for our next chat. I hope you enjoy this episode. If you do, please leave us a 5 star review and share with your friends!

Andreea is a long time friend of mine who has created a thriving Budoir Photography business that captures the beauty of every woman: Andreea B. Ballen Photography!
Though this was recorded before the Supreme Court's ruling, it works perfectly with the situation women in the US find themselves at the moment. Andreea's family moved out of Romania when she was young, but she's heard some stories...and the new decision to repeal Roe V Wade is only making the stories feel more real and closer than ever.
In this episode we talk about sooo many topics, a few of which are:
The necessity of accepting and expressing the masculine and feminine parts of our personality.
The threat to women's civil rights with (at the time of this recording) the idea that Roe V Wade could be repealed.
How instead of feeling envy of another woman we deem successful in some way, we should aim to simply admire her and try to contribute.
Subtle tactics of control by governments
and so much more.

Andreea is a long time friend of mine who has created a thriving Budoir Photography business which captures the beauty of every woman!
Budoir is often something we think of as a sexy gift idea for our significant other and rarely as a tool to promote more self love within ourselves. This is precisely what Andreea's mission is: to help all WOMEN to see the beauty, sensuality and power in themselves - without judgment or boundaries.
Being able to see ourselves as sexy not through the eyes of someone else but through our own and in our own way is POWERFUL. It helps us get past the negative and/or shameful associations we have with our body, sex, and societal expectations. It helps us develop true acceptance for ourselves so that we can explore all our bodies and life has to offer. It can be transformational for many of us.
In this episode we talk about sooo many topics, a few of which are:
Believing in our power
Seeing beauty in ourselves
Fear of Success and Imposter Syndrome
People don't appreciate things that are free
The subtle ways we invalidate ourselves
Andreea's journey of finally allowing herself to pursue her passion
Perfectionism
Stay tuned for Part 2 of my conversation with the amazing Andreea!

I had a discussion with a friend the other day where she said that self comparison was good because it pumps you up and drives you to be better. I think for a lot of people that's not true and that the opposite occurs. They get discouraged and end up feeling extra insecure and inadequate.
In this episode I talk about how self comparison stops you from accessing the best parts of your personality and how what my friend was talking about was really market research.
I hope this episode makes you rethink your strengths and weaknesses and gets you pumped up to make a big move in your life or career. I hope it makes you feel more confident about yourself and what is possible for you!

Nicole Pozos is a powerful woman who is creating a different experience for those interested in the Miami art scene. So much of the art found in Miami is based on what has sold in the past and what is "trendy" preventing new artists, new ideas, and the diversity of experiences to filter through.
This is the mission of Nicole's Gallery - Pen Project - in North Miami. She focuses on art created by women, latinx, black, indigenous, and other people of color and her goal is to show us the variety inside and outside of the cultures we think we know. She's here to blow our minds and give the Miami Art Scene something new to aspire to. In this episode of the AF Podcast we talk about:
-How stereotypes and trends are really what determine what kind of art we are exposed to.
-How we go from wanting to hide, to being "okay" with being seen, to then wanting to step out and really be seen for who we are and what we're offering to the world.
-How sometimes we underutilize our femininity and sensuality because we've been taught there's no place for that in the business world.
-How societal programming keeps so many of us from pursuing our dreams.
And Nicole gives us some AUDACIOUS ADVICE at the end!
If you liked this episode please give us 5 stars and share it with your friends!

Deb Driscoll is a long time friend and Moon Witch! We met because of Eduardo Placer's workshop Fearless Communicators. When I thought about who would have insight into our many identities, I thought immediately of Deb. She is an author, teacher, healer, and magic maker, who believes we all have access to our magic and are our own healers and teachers. Using intuitive guidance, storytelling, and spiritual practices Debra helps people to tune in and access their own magic. She knows the difference between a life tuned to magic and life without. Debra invites you to choose magic and activate your big life!
In this episode we talk about how as kids we are intuitively connected to our core identity, how it's easier for other people to see our unique gifts than for us to see them, how self-love is our only job and Deb gives us 3 mantras to help us maintain an essence of that love. Deb explains what a soulprint is to me and the idea that you can have an in-this-life reincarnation.
