My dear friend and book co-writer Rachel Nelson is visiting me at home in LA from Nottingham, UK this week, and yesterday we sat down to discuss the book wes’re working on, and other topics that have absolutely nothing to do with that. Didn’t think it would be an episode, but here we are! Check it out:)

Hi everyone!

As the subject of 7 episodes of Gimlet’s Startup series last Spring, I have a unique take on Gimlet’s acquisition by Spotify, so I thought I’d share it with you:)

Note: I don’t know what liquidation preferences each investor had in place, if any equity was restructured during previous rounds, what Alex ate for breakfast, etc… so the numbers I throw out are 100% guesses. Don’t @ me, bruv. :)
