So you've hit your 30's or 40's and you've realised that as a woman you've been living the life you thought you 'had too,' the one you thought was all planned.
And then something happened. A whisper inside of you was begging you to take the sharp left turn, desperate for you to just.say.yes.
I am here to show you how get the courage, step fully into it and give yourself permission to live the life that's calling you. Each week I'll be right here helping you navigate the unexpected, the unknown and each new crossroads.
Take the sharp left turn. It's worth it. You're worth it.
This is my favourite question to use in my coaching sessions at the moment. ITS POWERFUL and you’ll understand why if you answer the questions for yourself at the end of this episode.
Too many people give in and give up on themselves too early. They pull the emergency break early on in their change. When things don’t work out the first time or when it’s not as easy as they thought it might be, they pull the brake. This stop.start… stop.start… makes it very hard to reach the top enough to get momentum to keep going. This is a reminder for you this week… don’t get off the ROLLERCOASTER.
When do you call enough is enough?
Are we very good at it as humans, do you think? Are you?
…To draw a line in the sand and say ‘ enough?’
I know I wasn’t ever very good at it.
Big transformation change can only happen in our lives one of two ways - we can get so uncomfortable within ourselves and our surroundings, we call enough … or we shift consciousness, we become conscious of what was previously hidden.
So much research tells us that the uncomfortability factor can take decades because our human ability to think- analyse, explain and rationalise is also the very reason we hesitate to put a stop sign up in front of ourselves and hold it firm.
If you’re a good person, compassionate, kind person - its even harder. You’re not only rationalising, analysing and thinking through your own considerations, you’re doing it on behalf of others as well.
Anyone for their hand up there?
So, when where’s your line for enough?
It takes courage to step forward into your sharp left turn. How do I know? I’ve done it. Have you ever noticed that there’s a permanent narrator in your head… and that it has an opinion on e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g? Is it you?
Grab a piece of paper and a pen for this one. This one is practical and needs your active involvement so make sure you’re not driving 😉. Give yourself full permission to sit with this and finally reinvent that argument, frustration, confusion, stuckness or disconnection you’re having with another person. If you’ve realised no matter how much youve thought about it or talked about it, the issue is still there- do this process. You will see it all so differently. Do it and then come and tell me what you’ve discovered for yourself. I’d love to hear from you.
This episode is all about your unconsciousness mind and the role it plays in your life. So much of what we experience and how we process those experiences bypasses our consciousness and goes into our unconscious mind which means we haven’t had a chance to dissect it, question it or challenge it. We haven’t had a chance to decide if it’s a truth for us.
Have you ever said to somebody,“ I just don’t know where to start.” Only to have them say, “Why don’t you start at the beginning.” On the surface this seems so simple, so natural, so easy, so obvious… but in reality “, and at the same time, it can feel so hard, so heavy, so confusing, so overwhelming, so complicated.
That’s what this episode is that it’s about; taking you back to the very beginning to find the one key that you need that unlocks it all. If you can really understand this and if you can practice this and if you can see how it shifts and shapes things in your life ( the way you live in your world, the decisions you make, the responses you have)…if you can really understand this piece, everything else becomes easier.
I believe you when you say that you’re committed to the changes you want to make in your life. I believe you. I also believe you when you tell me it feels like you get to a certain point and you can’t keep keeping them. Here’s why….
How does the word ‘responsibility’ feel to you? Does it make you sit taller or shrink back in your seat? This weeks episode is a little different, no notes, no outline- just a little something that was bubbling away in me this morning.

How much of your life has been made up of invisible unspoken rules? You know, the ones expected and demanded - how it’s acceptable to look, respond, be, achieve or even what living life looks like. Have you ever questioned who creates those rules?
Where did you learn not to trust your insides? You know, those feelings of ‘this is not for me’ or ‘yes- let’s go.’ In this episode I share a personal story of a time I was punished for listening and following my own intuition. It set me up for decades of trying to live up to others expectations, something I’d done my whole life. Can you relate?
What happens when you’ve grown out of the life you’ve been living? How do you know how to find the one you want to grow in to? Well, the first answers are in here. If you want to read the article mentioned you can find it here https://bit.ly/2XSh438
This week I had to take a long drive on a dark on a road I’d travelled many, many times before. It taught me a lesson about how we sometimes live our lives in what I call torchlight awareness and how we can become stuck living in just the torchlight.
90% of my clients come to me with the issue of being separated from themselves. Life has been so busy, so rushed, and now they don’t know… they don’t know what lights them up, sets them on fire… what they enjoy. This episode digs into how we can get back to being whole and rediscover our aliveness.
This week I made a really poor decision. One I needed to undo. In this episode I share with you my guiding questions for becoming way better at choosing and deciding and knowing, what’s right for you.
We all experience looping patterns in our lives in some way. They are often getting in the way of us moving forward in an area of our lives. Self distracting looping patterns stop us from being present. Negative thought spirals and patterns stop us from trying new things or being successful in our goals. In this weeks episode, I help you name and identify one of your looping patterns that might be getting in your way of creating a life you love. I’d love to hear from you over on IG about what you discover.
I had a question come through on my IG this week asking me to share my top 3 learnings and lessons from my 5 year deep dive into our humanness and what it means for our lives. I decided to share my response with you as this weeks episode.
In this episode I ask you to consider trusting the closed door and explain how I no longer make decisions from fear, scarcity and panic.
Here it is, the secret. What makes the difference between those who catch the life they’re chasing and those who don’t? Is it actually possible for everyone? The answers are all in here but you might not like them.
In this episode I talk about Dan Sullivan’s concept of measuring the gap or the gain. Motivation and commitment can only take us so far in creating change. So often our focus is on measuring the gap of how far we have yet to travel instead of the gains we’ve already made. Are you focused on your gap or the gains? Your answer could be the biggest factor in whether you’re successful or not.
Fear is by far one of the biggest areas I explore with all clients. Like all of our humanness, our fear was in-built for a purpose but at times our fear can become too big for its boots. If fear is stopping you from stepping fully forward into your sharp left turn, you can grab a free booklet here 👉🏽 https://view.flodesk.com/pages/6003cf59bda14157d53360e6 👈🏽 that has 3 easy strategies to help you take back control. I’d love to know what you’ve heard for yourself in this episode. Jump in over to IG to let me know.
Grab a piece of paper and a pen because I know there’s going to be a breakthrough in here for you. In this episode I talk about how we can trick ourselves into thinking change is happening in our sharp left turn but our possibility is still tied to an old version we have of ourselves. I would love to hear from you about what you hear for yourself in this episode. Jump on over to Instagram and let me know.
In this episode we examine why it’s so important to move into the new things we want, even if there’s uncertainty or fear or doubt.
How do you think about purpose? How do you gather your directions? Who has been in the drivers seat of your life? In this episode I share specific steps on how you can rediscover purpose while taking your sharp left turn. This is an opportunity for you to create, craft and inspire your way to your next destination so let’s create the map and jump in the drivers seat.
Last week, I told a woman in her mid 60s that she was allowed to have needs and wants and desires and dreams. She was allowed to have a no or many. From the look on her face, that was the first time anyone had said that to her. Where in your life have you been waiting for a seeking others permission before making the move that you really want to make?
