How can anyone listen to the description of this woman and come to the conclusion that she exists to be subdued, conquered or used?

In this episode, it’s time to talk about how we don't know who we are, what we deserve, and how Summer Walker’s album is the theme music in a lot of our lives, but shouldn’t be.

60% of Black girls in America are sexually abused before the age ol 18 by a Black man that they KNOW. I am one of them.
There is a code of silence in the Black "community" that protects these men and allows them to continue to violate our girls, steal their innocence and allows the abuse to multiply. Black girls are accused of lying, blamed for what was done to them, or ignored - if they report it at all. Most don't.
Black girls grow up with a host of issues that they carry with them well into adulthood and often throughout their entire lives.

Proverbs 27:7 (New King James Version) says:
“A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, but to a hungry soul every bitter thing is weet.”
When I first read that verse, it hit me right in between the eyes:
Nakerville STARVES the souls of Black women to the point that we will aceept ANYTHING. But once we get a taste of real, true, mature love, we DESPISE anything else!
Let's LEARN better, so we can CHOOSE better!

This is a topic that most of us are not addressing. Black women die from domestic violence at THREE times the rate of other races. A Black woman is killed EVERY SIX HOURS in America.

When a father is present and active in his daughter’s life, he shows her that he loves her for WHO SHE IS. This gives her a foundation of security, love, and appropriate self-esteem. This foundation follows her throughout her life and affects the decisions she makes about the kind of man she will accept.

Sis, we as Black women have been hoodwinked, bamboozled and run amuck from BIRTH in varying degrees. The problem: Being born into and raised in the Toxic Black Culture….or what I’ll be calling it from here on out: NAKERVILLE.
In this episode, I'm laying the foundation for the issues we face, describing how our upbringing and conditioning have caused us to make choices based on lies.....
And of course, encouraging us to CHOOSE BETTER.
