Does failure even exist? Isn't all success just us not giving up till we 'get there'?
If our parents labelled us a failure because we fell the first few times we tried to walk, would we have ever learned to walk?

You have to resurrect the deep pain within you and give it a place to live that's not within your body.
Let it live in art.
Let it live in writing.
Let it live in music.
Let it manifest in deeper, more meaningful connections.
Your body is not a coffin for pain to be buried in.
Put it somewhere else.

Rest is highly under-rated. You don't need to 'earn' your rest, you don't have to deserve it. Rest is a part of the natural cycle and we need to honor it. But rest is more than just sleep.
We need at least seven different types of rest.
Physical Rest
Active (eg. yoga, stretching) and Passive (sleep/ nap)
Mental Rest
Breaks between intense thinking and planning
Emotional Rest
The time and space to be authentic
Sensory Rest
Time off from screens, bright lights, noise
Creative Rest
Time and space to create freely
Social Rest
Time away from people, small talk, exhausting relationships
Spiritual Rest
Meditation, prayer, community involvement
