Hello Friends,
Spiritual Gifts are given by the Holy Spirit for the profit of all.
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/corinthbaptistzebulon
Website: https://www.corinthbaptistzebulon.com
Within the body of Christ, various spiritual gifts are given in order to grow its members together in unity and love. Each member may have a different gift, but each gift is given by the same Spirit, in order that the members may carry out the work and mission of the Church.
Hello Friends,
The grace that brings salvation, and enables personal sacrifice in following Christ, also produces a humble and spiritual mindset. Therefore, self should not be exalted, and one should recognize that whatever God has given is a gift from Him and not a matter for personal pride. We need to focus on glorifying God and helping others.

Hello Friends,
Through unity we will recognize how all of us fit into the body of Christ to Glorify God using the gifts He has given us individually.
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/corinthbaptistzebulon
Website: https://www.corinthbaptistzebulon.com
Jesus built His Church upon the confession that He is the Christ. As our church grows, we must be knit together with Him, as the Church belongs to Him.
Hello Friends,
God reminds us that we are redeemed to be His people, and we need not be worried because He will gather us when he calls for us to glorify Him. God will bring an oppressor and will liberate His people! Praise God!!
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/corinthbaptistzebulon
Website: https://www.corinthbaptistzebulon.com
In the story of Gideon, we see that God wants us to trust him and give him glory for the outcome. Sometimes God will reduce us and our capabilities so that we lean on him rather than our own strength. Walking with God is much easier when we just humble ourselves and look to him to for success. Otherwise God will discipline us with his loving kindness.
Friend. If you are struggling with a situation. Give it to God and see what He does with it. Wait on the Lord and give Him the Glory!

This week is a special week for us, as we celebrate the value of human life. We know from Scripture that we are all made in the image of God. He forms each of us in the womb of our mother, and knows us each by name.
As we continue into this new year, we look forward to what God can do in our congregation, community, and individual lives. God has already done great things, and most especially in salvation through Jesus His son.
This sermon teaches on the importance of the ordinances given to the Church (Baptism and the Lord's Supper), as demonstrated by Jesus himself in two passages.
As we continue to celebrate the birth of our Savior, we must also remember that He did more than just come to this earth. He ascended to heaven, having accomplished all that God the Father entrusted Him to do. Sin and death were defeated, and the Holy Spirit has been sent into our hearts.
Merry Christmas Friends! We hope this finds you well.
The greatest visitation in history was when the God who made us came and dwelt among us. The second greatest miracle behind the resurrection was the incarnation. When the Word of God took on a fleshly body and became a baby boy. This Jesus was the light of the world and he shined upon men. The only begotten of the father.
Today friends we entreat you to partake of the Christmas miracle of Jesus' earthly incarnation. Marvel at his glory. Be in awe of the humility with which he came nigh unto us. Thank God for the human body that God prepared for himself in order to be one of us.
Jesus wants to draw nigh unto you this Christmas. Open your hearts to receive Christ and he will dwell with you.

Hello friends,
As we enter into a time of celebrating the birth of Christ, we can be thankful for redemption from the law, and for adoption as sons and daughters into the family of God.
Hello friends,
This parable teaches on the different responses to the Word of God in people's hearts. We must strive to be good soil in order for God to do a great work within our personal lives and church body. May God find much fruit in us at the time of harvest.
Hello friends,
In this parable, Jesus teaches on the value of continual prayer. Unlike the unjust judge, God desires for us to lift our concerns to Him.
Hello friends,
We have reason to give thanks to the Lord. We can sing praises to Him because He is good, because of His everlasting mercy, and His truth that will not pass away.
Hello Friends,
When we “bless the Lord” we offer something from within ourselves to God in response to His grace and holiness. We often show this with thanksgiving while seeking to show deep love for Him, even in the simple act of raising our hands toward Him.

Hello friends! Dr. Cashwell is starting a new series as we make our way to the Thanksgiving Holiday. At the start of this series on thanksgiving we learn to give thanks to the Lord, especially for his mercy and steadfast love. The Lord has done many mighty works for which we can give Him thanks. He has created all things, He sustains all things, He is the God of Gods and Lord of Lords.

Hello Friends and welcome! We hope this finds you well.
Today Dr Cashwell continues in the subject of giving. He will be preaching out of Numbers 28. The Lord simply requires us to give back to Him. For the Christian everything that we have is on loan from the Lord. He only wants us to return to Him that which He has entrusted us.
Now offerings are above and beyond the 10% tithe that we give to the Lord. There is no limit to how much we can offer to the Lord. Let us give eagerly and cheerfully and the Lord will multiply our gift.

Hello Friends!
Greetings. We hope this finds you well. The Lord has given so much to us. He gives generously and without a second thought. Should He not also expect good gifts from us who have received so much from Him? If you give a little or a lot the importance of tithing is that we honor the Lord with our possessions and give out of the overflow of a grateful heart.
The Lord's economy is not our economy friend. Even if you are on your bottom dollar. Give that dollar to the Lord and He will multiply it back to you.

Hello Friends,
It’s a matter of the heart! That's the title of Dr Cashwell's new series. In today's entry we look at Galations 6:6-10 where we see the principle of reaping and sowing. Do you sow into the Spirit? Do you do good to everyone? Or are there reservations in your heart for certain persons? If you sow into others with fear, and resentment then you will reap from them fear and resentment.

Hello friends! Happy father's day to all of you dads out there. Today Dr. Cashwell admonishes men to be men of God. Did you know that the father is charged with leading his wife and children? Did you know that the man of the house is to be the moral example to his family?
Fathers don't let this twisted and devious generation raise your children in the ways of the world. Instead raise them up in the fear and the admonition of the Lord. Show them how to pray. Show them how to repent. Show them how to be peacemakers. Show them how to forgive. Give them a spirit of worship and adoration of the Lord.
If you are struggling with feeling like a failure as a father we would love to encourage you and introduce you to our heavenly father who can empower you to be the father you were created to be.

Happy Lord's Day friends. We hope this finds you well. This week Dr Cashwell wraps up his sermon series through the book of Acts. Today we see the Gospel going out to the Jews has returned with only some fruit. But indeed the Gospel has now gone to the Gentiles whome have imbraced the gospel and are now carrying the faith of the Apostles to the ends of the Earth.
If the Word of God comes to you friend do not be like the Jews whom hearing have not heard and whose eyes have been closed lest they see. Today is the day of salvation. God has sent his servant to you to bring the Gospel so that you might know God and serve Him.

If you are in Christ God’s plans for you cannot be derailed. Even when the storms come and people around you make bad decision God will come through. You were made for a purpose. Greetings beloved.
There is a God who loves and sends his people into the dark to those who are sitting in the dark to rescue them to His glorious light. Today in our series through the book of act Paul finds himself going through a dark time in his life. At the mercy of the Roman justice system. He is accused by the jews who want to kill him. Even though the roman governors don't find fault in him they are having to subvert justice to appease the jews. This is a fate that is erriely similiar to that of our Lord Jesus. Unlike Jesus Paul finds a way out of being murdered by the jews by appealing to Ceaser.
When things seem darkest and we are in the midsts of opression God makes a way for us. Paul needed to go to Rome so that the gospel could be preached there. Likewise God has a plan for your life. He will be with you in difficulty and will use you to prove Himself to the world. Friend, trust yourself unto the Lord Jesus and you will not die, and if you die and trust Jesus you will live again.

Good day friends! We hope this finds you well. Today Dr Cashwell continues his series through the book of Acts. Here in chapter 24 we see Paul being taken before felix and accused by the Asian Jews of starting riots and being a revolutionary. Paul is brought before the Roman governor Felix to stand trial. In God's sovereignty, Paul is given 2 years to testify to Felix of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Friends, even in the midst of persecution and trials God is using what is ment for evil for good. If you find yourself facing accusations or fiery trials for Christ, then rest assured that the Lord is with you. He will give to you what you should say in that very hour! We never know what effect our witness will have, but know that our faithfullness will be rewarded with a crown of life.
If you would like to chat about Jesus, please feel free to message us on Facebook.

Hello friends! We hope this finds you well. We give all the praise to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who keeps us and gives us strength. In midst of difficulties a He is there to gird us with power from on high. Even through our personally failures and weakness God moves and works for He is faithfull to his promises.
Friend, if you have put your faith in Christ, then He will never leave you nor forsake you. Walking with Him means having a lifelong friend who has stood in your place and taken the very wrath of God on your behalf. What more can we expect from Him? If God has given us his only son to walk with us and his Holy Spirit to live in us then we know that He will overcome in us. In Him we will overcome the wold and every circumstance that we may face.
Don't let the enemy accuse you for your shortcomings and failures. Instead, get up and serve the Lord with gladness.
Hello Friends! Dr Cashwell continues his series through the book of acts. Today we see Paul bein arrested at Jerusalem after a Riot forms. In his defense Paul takes this opportunity to witness to his accusers by sharing his testimony. Friends, have your eyes been opened to see the kingdom of God? Have you encountered the Lord Jesus and been transformed by Him? If not then you may still be wandering in the darkness of this world.

Happy Lord's day friends! We hope this finds you well. Today we remember the Lord's sacrifice and we partake of the Lord's supper. Friend, Jesus willingly went to have his body broken so that we can partake of the life that he has within him. He shed his blood for the forgiveness of sins to become a propitiation for us to be recieved by faith.
Unless you have partaken of the body and blood of jesus then there is no life in you. Your sins separate you from God and condemn you to an eternity of suffering. We invite you to recieve life into yourself by putting your faith in Jesus Christ, the only begotton Son of God.

Hello Friends,
Happy Lord’s Day to you. In today’s sermon we see that God individually made each one of us with His unimaginable power for His will. God’s unimaginable love demands to have a relationship with each one of us. Jesus provides us a way to have that relationship. Just as you were born of his power Jesus says that you must be born again to see the kingdom of God. There awaits for you friend a whole new beginning. You too can be fearfully and wonderfully made AGAIN by the power of His love and in His perfect image.
Leave behind the old you. Die with Christ and be raised to newness of life. You matter to God friend. Come today. Don’t wait.

Hello Friends,
Happy Lord’s Day to you. In today’s sermon we see an internal debate within the early church leadership concerning the keeping of the Law of Moses. Praise God that our church Father’s agreed that salvation is by grace alone and not by works. Let no one deceive you friends. If anyone comes to you and says that you must keep your own salvation by working tell them that the law has been abrogated by the new covenant in Christ Jesus! He who walks by the Spirit is not under the law.
We hope to see you soon!

Hello Friends! We hope this finds you well. When the shepherds looked into that manger in which our Lord laid in bethlehem that night they saw a baby. But who they were looking at was so much more that that. In that feeding trough was the very maker of Heaven and Earth. God had come in the flesh to dwell among men. This holiday season we hope that you too can see the glory of heaven in that manger.
Jesus is calling out to you friends. He is entreating you to come and behold him for who he is. Christ who is the lord. He came for the express purpose of cleansing us of our sins. He prepared His body so that it would be a fitting sacrifice your sins. And if you put your faith in this lamb of God you can have all of your sins forgiven.
Jesus is now the inheritor and ruler of all creation. Come join us this Christmas season in giving glory to the one who saves us.
Hello Friends! As we are entering into the Christmas season, Dr. Cashwell preaches on Luke chaper two. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

Happy Lord's Day friends! We hope this finds you well. Today Dr. Cashwell continues his series through Acts in chapter 10. In this sermon we see that all men God has cleanesed and are able to recieve the Holy Spirit.
Are you a person who does good and fears the Lord? Like cornelieus there is something else that you need. To receive unto yourself the good news of Jesus. That Jesus did many good works, healing all who are opressed by the devil in Israel. With power and the Holy Spirit He proclamed the good news of the kingdom of God. Then Jesus was put to death and raised three days later. He appeared to many as ressureccted and was taken up into heaven. And now whoever should believe in Him will have forgiveness of sins in His name.
You see, no matter how good we are we all need to receive forgiveness from God. Our sins weigh heavy on us until ,by faith, we are cleansed from our unrighteousness and anointed with the Holy Spirit. All you have to do is trust in Jesus and follow Him.
If you would like to know more about following Jesus please feel free to message us on Facebook.

Good morning friedns! We hope this finds you well. Today we are in Acts 9:23-43. This morning Dr Cashwell will exposit the difficulty that the new church had with accepting Saul's radical transformation. Friend, if you are in Christ the you have also been radically transformed. For some living out that transformation is difficult. Leaving the old , and taking hold of the new. It can also be difficult for others to accept what has happened to you. Be encouraged friend as we also see in this morning's sermon that what Christ brings is a resurrection. Just as Tabitha was brought back from the dead by faith, your faith is bringing you from death to life. God's act of salvation is both transformative and life giving. You have newness of liffe in Christ.
We encourage you to live out your faith. If you have not yet put faith in Jesus Christ or are struggling with your faith, then we would love to talk with you. Please feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.

Happy Lord's Day friends! Today we will be in In Acts chapter 8. In this chapter we see 3 responses to the Gospel. There is a great persecution, a great deception, and a great rejoicing.
Friend, if the persercution of the world has come upon you today then we can still rejoice. In this amazing chapter we see that God uses persecution of the church for the advancement of the gospel. As Saul took the church to task the believers scatters outside of Judea and fulfilled the great comission as the preached the Gospel wherever they went. This is how Philllip was sent to witness to the Ethiopian eunic. Thereby bringing the Gospel to the continent of Africa.
To This day Ethiopia claims to be the first Christian nation. In the midst of great persecution God will bless us and still be glorified. In the midsts of great deception, the God still makes known the truth. Jesus will be magnified. His name will be lifted up high. And in that God's people can rejoice.
God hasn't forgotten about you friend. Press on and keep the faith and you will see his Glory.

The Lord our God defines love and he showed us that love in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Without anything to offer Him, God willingly sent and Jesus willingly went. He went to that cross and was crushed for our iniquities. He laid down his life so that we might live. He gave us everything and only expects us to return that same love back to God, and then to our neighbor.

Hello Friends! We hope this finds you well. Today Dr. Cashwell walks us through the difficulty of accepting change in the midst of loss. God asks all of us to mourn with Him. To let go of things that are dear to us. To take a hold of things that we don't want to accept. The loss that we experience are due to the sin that defines our experience. The deviation from God's perfect design for us. That deviation results in death and the loss of beautiful things. God wants to mourn with us.
Mourning with God means accepting His correction and moving forward into His holiness. He wants to correct our course. Heal our hearts and minds and strengthen us to endure even greater things than these. We have to let him change us. By the blood of Jesus we can be transformed through faith into sons and daughters of God.
If God has begun that work in you then He will finish it. If not then we would love to introduce you to Jesus.

Hey y'all.
We hope this finds you well. We are as sad as we are excited to celebrate the new season for our church and for the Abernethy's. We have had the massive privilege to have been led and shepherded by such a faithful and upright man of God. He has led Corinth into a very healthy place where we are capable of undertaking God's great task of building the kingdom of God by making disciples of Jesus.
God is not finished working and moving in the hearts and lives of the community that we are in. Friends, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus. We must go and tell the good news of Jesus. We urge you friends to partner with the Lord in covenant union. Join with us in following the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you are in the Zebulon/Wendell N.C. community and you have a need that we could meet, please let us know so that we can show the love of God.

Happy Lord's Day friends! We hope this finds you well. Today we continue our study through the book of James in James 3:13-18. This morning we will see that there is a wisdom that this world gives and the purpose of that wisdom is to help us successfully live out our sinful and unspiritual personal goals. Our contemporaries are quick to tell us the best way for us to be selfish and arrogant. God however has a better way and a different kind of wisdom. Wisdom that will help us live for God and serve others. Let us all look to the Lord to give us the wisdom that we need to live holy lives.

Happy Lord's Day friends! We hope that this finds you well. Today Dr. Abernethy begins a new series through the book of James. We are in verse 19-27. Sometimes the word of God is challenging and even frustrating. The Lord's ways are not our ways and he just doesn't do what we want him to. If we are ever to be changed by the word of God and filled with it's eternal life then we have to approach it with humility and patience. Test the word friends, by building your lives upon faithful obedience to it. If we do we will see God's power in our lives.

Indeed, this Jesus that has saved us to the uttermost has also commissioned us to be His witnesses in this life. How can we not share the hope, love, peace, and joy that we have been given.
This morning we are in Acts 1:1-11

Happy Lord's Day to you friend! Today we come to the end of our study through the book of Ephesians. The church needs to be engaged in the ministry of those that we send. As Paul brings the book of Ephesians to a close we will get a glimpse of his relationship with the church at Ephesus.
We hope that your church is actively sending people into the world to affect it for the kingdom of God. We also hope that those whom you have sent feel like they are being supported well. Missionaries are human all the same that we are. They need us to partner with them as they minister. Have you prayed for your missionaries lately? When was the last time they heard from you?

Happy Lord's Day to you friend! We hope that this finds you well. Today is homecoming at Corinth Baptist. A day where we celebrate the life of our church over the past year. A day when former members come back to us to remember everything the Lord has done.
As good as it is to reunite with our brother's and sister's in Christ here on this earth, we know that there will be a heavenly homecoming. For those who believe on the Lord Jesus, this world is not our home. We have a heavenly home that we belong to and that we can expect to be treated like aliens and strangers here in this life. When this world rejects us and attacks us, let them find us doing the perfect will of our father in heaven. So that we can give a testimony to the great salvation that is in Christ Jesus.
Today Dr. Abernethy is preaching out o f 1 Peter 2:11-12

Happy Lord's Day Friends! We hope this finds you well. We are coming to the end of the book of Ephesians. Today we are in Ephesians 6:5-9, and talking about servants and masters. Christ is Lord of all areas of life. This includes how we behave in the work place. As servants of the Lord we must perform our work in such a way that honors Him.

Good day friends! This morning we are in Ephesians 6:1-4. Here we continue the household code in the book of Ephesians. This time we are specifically discussing our responsibilities as children and parents.
As designed by God, the nuclear family is the bedrock of civilization and the foundation for all individuals on Earth. God's plan for us as seen in the Bible clearly involves the pedagogical upbringing of children by their parents. As a unit the husband and wife are to raise their own children in such a way as to impart to them the knowledge of the Lord. Friends we can not outsource this responsibility. You have a unique ability to influence your kids for the Lord
Let us emphasize friends that you are teaching your children about God weather you intend to or not. The way they see you praying is how they will come to practice prayer. The time they see you spend reading the bible is how they will learn to spend in God's word. The attitudes that you carry toward God and others is the attitude that they will adopt. Either you are leading your children to walk with the Lord, or you are leading them to walk without the Lord.
The church can not undo with 2-4 hours a week what we are doing in the hearts of our children for 40 hours a week. We must take seriously the responsibility that we have been given by God. To bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Happy Lord's Day friends! Unfortunately part two of God's Plan For Marriage was not recorded correctly and we are unable to upload it. Sad! But today Dr. Abernethy explains husbands' responsibility in marriage. That they are to love their wives as Christ loved the church.
How incredible that we get to partake in marriage as husbands and wives. That we are a living testimony to Christ's relationship with The Church. Let us endeavor to live out our marriages with the holy duty of bearing this testimony to the world. That we would strive to fulfill God's purpose and plan for marriage.
Today we are in Ephesians 5:25-32.
If you have questions about the nature of your responsibility as a wife or husband we would love to talk with you about it. Please feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.

God has transformed us by this calling. We are to use the spiritual gits and talents to further the kingdom of God.

Happy Lord's Day Friends! We hope that this finds you well. For our few friends who follow our podcast weekly we have been away for a couple of week. However we are excited to jump back into our study in the book of Ephesians. Today we are in Ephesians 4:17-24.
Friends sin touches every part of every man. It affects every part of who we are. For those who are without Christ our sin puts us in opposition with God. The more we walk in our natural sinfullness the harder our hearts are towards righteousness and holiness. Until eventually we become callous and completely immune to the evil nature of our sinful practices. Those who have given themselves over to their sin become useless in their thinking, and unable to know the truth because they have rejected it with all that they are. They search after meaning and purpose, but do not find it because they have rejected the only source of these things.
But God in his mercy and steadfast love has sent his son Jesus to free us from the bondage of sin. For those who are in Christ, those who have put their faith in Christ, sin no longer oppresses us. Our minds are no longer warped to subvert truth by our desires, but rather our thinking can be renewed in Christ.
If you feel like God is speaking to you, then we would love to talk with you about Jesus. God wants you to repent, and turn away from the destruction, and deleteriousness of sin. If you confess your sins, then God is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

Through the indwelt Holy Spirit we are rooted and grounded in the love of God. In this love we are built up into the fullness of God. It is through faith in Christ that the Spirit will lead us more and more into the character of God.
Jesus is an every kind of Jesus. We hope that your experience with him is more than just a moment of faith, but that rather you are continually leaning into Him through faith so as to draw from his well of salvation.

Friends we should be a people who are about going and sending to make disciples of the nations. This great mission grips all of us who belong to Christ. Let us be led by the Spirit and send those who are equipped and called to reach the nations with the love of Christ

Good day friends! We hope that this finds you well. We have come to the end of the book of Daniel. We have enjoyed studying Daniel and we hope that you have as well. Here in chapter 12 we will bring the prophecy to an end that began in chapter 11. Historically the prophecy brings us to the very end of the age and deals with end time issues.
We don't know exactly what is to come, but friends, we know that God will settle accounts with everyone. Those who are written in the Lamb's book of life shall be ushered into eternal life. But those who act wickedly will be cast into everlasting shame and contempt. We urge you therefore to know God and believe in the gospel. That you too may join with the Lord at the consummation of the ages.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends! This morning we continue in our study through the book of Daniel and chapter 11:20-45. Today we will continue to see the kings of the Seleucid and Ptolemaic empires acting against one another. The king of the Seleucids will strike the nation of Israel and act as the prototype of the Antichrist. We will also see the prophecy move forward beyond our modern times to look forward to that very same Antichrist.
It is this Antichrist who will exalt himself very highly and in doing so will usher in the time of the end. The time of judgment on the nations and ultimately the time for Christ to come. Upon Christ's arrival the Antichrist will be struck down and the true and heavenly kingdom will be brought to Earth.
Friends, we are all either a member of these earthly kingdoms or are part of Christ's invisible and heavenly kingdom. If you would like to know more about how to enter into the heavenly kingdom please feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.

We pick up in the middle of Daniel's prophetic conversation with an angel. Over the course of this conversation we see God revealing in striking detail events that are to unfold. In posterity we can survey history and see this prophecy play out many decades after it was given. Once again we see God's sovereignty in the book of Daniel. We see that God's knows the course of human history before it begins.
God certainly sees you friend and knows your story. He has good things for you and desires for you to follow him in faith. If you would like to know more about following Jesus please feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.

Good day friends. We hope this finds you well. Today Dr. Abernethy continues his series through the book of Daniel. We are in Daniel 10, and in this passage we get a glimpse into a heavenly reality. As Daniel mourns and fasts he is allowed to see a vision of the Lord and is given strength to stand before him.
One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. Only those whom God loves will be able to then stand before him. If you would like to know God's love please feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.
Happy Lord's Day Friends! We hope that this finds you well. Today in our series through the book of Daniel we find ourselves in the middle of the 70 weeks prophecy. In our context this is God's response to Daniel's prayer for mercy on the nation of Israel. God sends his angel Gabriel to Daniel to give him an answer to his prayer. Here God reveals His plan for the salvation of his children.
This morning we are in Daniel 9:20-27. Hopefully you are able to follow along as this text can be confusing. We pray that you would know the Lord. If you want to know more please feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends! We hope that this finds you well. Today we pick up in our series through the book of Daniel in 7:13-28. Here we see the climax of Daniel's first vision. In it we see that the fourth kingdom will be for a time oppressive to the saints. The Satanic king which rules that kingdom is the antichrist, and for a time he will be given power to persecute the saints.
However the judgement will come and the antichrist will be stripped of his power and the kingdom will be given to the saints. Friends, in the end we know that God will overcome our great adversary. For those whose name is written in the book of life we will see God's kingdom be handed over to the saints. Praise be to God.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends! We hope that you had a merry Christmas and happy new year. Today we resume our series through the book of Daniel. This morning we are in Daniel 7: 1-14. Here we will see the first of a series of visions that Daniel has while in captivity in Babylon and Persia. In this particular vision we will see four great beasts that represent four earthly kingdoms. These terrifying beasts are contrasted with the heavenly kingdom and it's king glorious king, the Son of Man.
This vision is concerning the end times as much as it details matter of the past. While every detail of things to come isn't clear, what is plain is that ultimately the earthly kingdoms are as nothing before the great Ancient of Days. It is through Jesus Christ that we are able to enter the heavenly kingdom. For He is indeed the heavenly king, the Son of Man. Before him all other earthly kingdoms will cease and come to an end
If you would like to know more about how to enter the kingdom of God feel free to reach out to us on Facebook.

Happy Lord's day to you friends. We hope this finds you well. This morning we are in Daniel chapter 5. In it we will see God judging the sin and rebellion of king Belshezzar of Babylon. We see that the king flippantly uses the holy vessels taken from the temple in Jerusalem to worship false gods. In the midst of this rebellion God supernaturally pronounces his judgement on Belshezzar's rebellion.
Like the Babylonian king our sin is essentially also rebellion against God. We too find ourselves subjected to god's judgement unless we have put our faith in Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more about Jesus feel free to send us a message on Facebook.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends! We hope this finds you well. Today's sermon deals with something that we all struggle with. That is the sin of pride. In this generation where we are encouraged and celebrated to be full of pride for who you. The Bible's standard is in stark contrast to that worldly standard. We must abandon our pride and honor God alone or He will humble us. That is precisely what God does in Nebuchadnezzar's life.
For 7 years the king of Babylon, in all his grandeur and majesty, is forced to live like a wild beast. His senses left him and he began eating grass and dwelling among the wild animals. It was only when the king looked toward heaven and confessed that the King of Heaven was sovereign that he returned to his senses and was able to retake his throne. This often is the case with us as well. God will not share his glory with another and His praise will not be given to another. It is God alone who is worthy to praised, and everything that we have is from His hand.
Today's scripture is Daniel Chapter 4. We will be reading the entire chapter.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends. We hope this finds you well. Today we continue our sermon series through Daniel. We are in chapter 3 this morning looking at the King's demand to worship an idol and the resulting persecution from Daniel's refusal to do so. We see Daniel's cohort standing firm in the fear of the lord. God deliver's the cohort through the fiery furnace.
Daniel and his cohort cut against the cultural grain in their faithfulness to God. More and more so we find that a reasonable faith in God is hated and spoken against in our culture today. Daniel was willing to follow God even when it would cost him his life. If following God has never costs you anything in your life then it's likely that you are fearing man and not God. If you would like to know more about following a God who is faithful in all circumstances please feel free to reach out to us.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends! We hope that this finds you well. In today's installment of our Doctrine of Man series we are going to be talking about the fall of man. As we look at the chaos and evil in the world around us it becomes evident that Man is not as God intended us to be. The truth is that the chaos and evil that we see is a result of the that which exists in our own hearts.
Our hearts are desperately sick and deceitful above all else. Perhaps as you think about your own life and the choices that you have made, you find that this rings true for you. If you would like to know more about how to overcome the evil in your heart please feel free to reach out for us on Facebook. Please understand that if you don't rule over the sin in your heart, then it will over take you and you will be the source of evil and chaos in this world.

Happy Lord's Day to you friends. We at Corinth are glad to be able to gather together after a 3 week hiatus.
Don't be alarmed at the title of today's sermons. We believe that Jesus was no doomsayer. But here in Mark 13: 1-13 Jesus gives a sobering message. For those who follow Jesus hardships will come, but God will be with us.
When we suffer for the sake of Christ the Holy Spirit will give us what we need to overcome for the kingdom of God. So let's be on guard, making sure that as the times gets difficult we are suffering for the Kingdom of God and not for the kingdom of man.
If you feel confused or overwhelmed by what you see going on around you please feel free to reach out to us.

Good day friends! After a long hiatus of being unable to record our sermons we are finally going to be resuming our weekly podcast. This is the Sunday morning service from Corinth Baptist Church in Zebuloln N.C. Coming to you every week is Dr. William Abernethy. This morning he continues his series through the Gospel of Mark. Today's message is Mark 12: 35-40
Here we find Jesus interacting with the Jewish religious leaders there in Jerusalem. Jesus challenges their understanding of who The Messiah is and what he came to do.
If you are in the Wendell/Zebulon area of N.C. then we would love for you to come join our socially distanced worship services in the sanctuary every Sunday morning at 10:30.
Thanks for listening!
It's week two of us not gathering corporately as the Body of Christ here in Corinth, NC. We hope that this message from Acts 2 is encouraging to you.
This is the audio of a Facebook Live video that we posted on our page. Search for Corinth Baptist Church, N.C. and like the page to get next week's video. Moving forward we will transition to video only for our content as recording the audio requires us to meet at our church's building, so we will likely not be posting anymore content to the podcast until the health crisis in the U.S. is reversed. If you have been following us on podcast thanks for listening and, God willing, we will continue podcasting when we are able to.
We will continue to do Facebook live videos Sunday's at 10:30. We also plan to release videos on Wednesday nights en lieu of our Wednesday night bible studies. We will be making our video content available on Facebook, and on YouTube.
Links will be posted on our website https://www.corinthbaptistzebulon.com/
In accordance with the current social gathering restrictions Corinth Baptist Church did not meet this week. Instead of his weekly sermon Dr Abernethy has prepared a short bible lesson from Hebrews chapter 10. This week's podcast will probably listen more like a small group bible study than a sermon.
This recording is the audio of a Facebook live video posted to our Facebook page. To watch the full video find us on Facebook by searching for "Corinth Baptist Church, N.C." without the quotes. Look for our blue logo. As the situation in the US continues to unfold we will likely be posting more of these videos as we are unable to meet. If you would like to watch next week's video live, be sure to like our page on Facebook, and be on the lookout for the notification next Sunday morning around 10 am EDT.
We do hope this finds you well. If after listening to any of our messages you feel like God is speaking to you, and would like to talk to someone about it please leave us a comment. Or reach out to us on Facebook. God Bless
