Do you ever feel like God is not going to come through for you?
I know I've felt like that many times. What I have learnt is that the fulfillment of God's promises does not always look like we expect it to.
That’s because God loves to put his glory in unlikely packages so His glory is more clearly displayed.
This past Sunday we explored the account of Jesus’ birth from an unlikely perspective and illustrated how to handle the waiting while the promise becomes reality.
What qualifies Jesus to be an all encompassing Messiah and have the rightful claim as the king that will redeem His people from bondage?Jesus' family tree gives us amazing clues to this.In this message we discover how Jesus family line, tracing all the way back to Abraham:1. Qualifies Him as the heir to David's throne2. Offers salvation to all3. Breaks the curse of the law
On our journey of faith, we will face opposition and we will have many opportunities to be discouraged.
We will want to quit and walk away, back to our old life.Nehemiah felt exactly the same.
When God called him to go back to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls, he faced a lot of opposition, challenges and discouragement. But he persevered.
In this message, we explore some of Nehemiah's key principles to overcoming discouragement and finishing what God has called you to.
After years of rebellion and the destruction of the Northern Kingdom,Jerusalem finally fell to the Babylonians. Shortly after, the prophet Jeremiah wrote a letter to the exiles who were whisked away to a foreign land. In it, he explains that God has a plan for the Jewish people even in the midst of their suffering. God’s ultimate goal is to bring his people back, renewed.In this message, Ps Bojan explores the faithfulness of God even in the midst of our faithlessness.
Throughout Isaiah’s work, we see the same cycle of unfaithfulness that plagued the Hebrew people since their deliverance from the land of Egypt. The latter half of Isaiah’s book, however, offers a glimmer of hope: No one sinned too much to be redeemed Because of Jesus, God's mercy and grace are offered to all people.
Both, the kingdom of God and kingdom of darkness function on a set of systems. The one system, God's economy, produces supply and peace whereas the other produced lack and fear.

Goodness and mercy from God flood into our lives when we first open our eyes and become conscious in the morning. A fresh act of mercy that will be adequate for whatever the day brings. This is the beauty of "shall follow me all the days of my life."

1 Kings reminds us that our role is for us to not only see Jesus as our temple through whom we have access to the Lord, but to help the world see it too.
We are likewise temples of the living God in this way. As God's people and as individuals, we operate like a temple so that people might come to the Lord to know him and find forgiveness.
