My name is Erika Ahern and, along with my husband Todd, and our six children we are building Verity Ed to introduce the world to an articulate, coherent, and joyful family-based education and home culture.
After 15 years of living the classical homeschool life and working with hundreds of homeschooling families, I took the risk of starting and investing in Verity Ed, putting myself -- our family -- out there for the sake of families who want something more than what our culture gives them.
I saw so many young parents in those years who homeschooled because they were running away from institutional schooling: they didn’t want bullying, they didn’t want Common Core, they didn’t want the long hours away from home.
