Did God write a book? With the controversy of knowing if the Bible is literally the word of God versus if the Bible was inspired by God, how do we know the truth? There are only two sides to the supernatural and one side is never sought out. So what should we do with this supernatural war and who do you run to? Proclaim the name of Jesus! His name only has the power to destroy the demonic. When we move toward the Holy Spirit in prayer, the demonic will flee. When you move toward the spiritual and move away from the mystical, your power comes from the most powerful source and the darkness flees. Which side will you entrust your life to?
What's wrong with religion? If the majority of people claim they are religious, does this get you closer to God? Religious traditions force our thinking inward rather than having an outside focus. Join us as we unfold the confusion and dangers of religion and how it is very different than a relationship with God.
The problem of suffering is that it is personal and it's universal. We feel it and it's everywhere. Knowing the inevitable, our response to suffering navigates our future. Out of all the popular world views, the Biblical teaching on suffering clearly explains Jesus suffering for us so we could freely choose repentance and salvation. We are not guaranteed a simple life once we have faith in Christ. Jesus is the one who leads us through our choppy life paths and He alone saves us from suffering, teaches us about suffering, and leads us through suffering.Acts 14:19-28
If miracles are true, what does that prove about Jesus? The more you see and acknowledge the wonders of this world, the more you can see God's extraordinarily common providences. We have proof God is alive and He alone is worthy of worship and that Jesus is God and he alone can save anyone. When we believe these truths, we can also prove that we, the church, are in God's good and great hands. With the knowledge and belief in miracles, we should never lose hope because there is nothing God can't do!
Do you ever question what sin is and how it came into this world spreading amongst everyone? Sin is deadly serious; corrupting our physical bodies, the world, and spiritual lives. What if there was a way to be forgiven of your sins? Can good works erase your sin? Jesus Christ is the one and only who can save you from corruption and death from your sins. Without Christ's grace, sin is unfixable. Do you have faith in His immeasurable grace for all sinners? Join us as we answer the problem of sin and how it's unfixable without Jesus.
What if Jesus was really alive? Could we see clear evidence of His existence, would the prophesies fit perfectly as the Bible indicates? What would happen if we believed the truth of Jesus? If Jesus is alive, He is worth dedicating your life to. Join us in how we see lives radically transform when we have faith and fully know, in our hearts, Jesus is alive!
Do you ever question if God is real? What if He actually was? The evidence is clear, and you can trust Him with everything. No matter your story, your past, your long or short list of talents, whatever it may be, God wants to use those ordinary things to build the kingdom of God. As you grow in your walk with Christ, it becomes an investment that will last a lifetime, a life more abundant to help build the Church. God continues to use ordinary people to do the extraordinary.
If you were best known for a nickname, what would it be? There is more to a name than we think. Barnabas lived out the meaning of his name, son of encouragement. His life demonstrated radical generosity, self-sacrifice, demonstrated how to be a peacemaker, and was helpful in bringing others to Christ.
Why do bad things happen to praying people? Peter became imprisoned for his faith and he had so many people praying for him. Why didn't prayer stop Peter from experiencing pain and suffering? We are not guaranteed an easy life following Christ but when we pray, we are inviting God to redeem our pain. Join us and see how, the church, prayed and loved Peter while he experienced the miraculous, only God can do.
When you obey the voice of the Lord, a world can be changed! Are you ever afraid to spread the gospel alone? Peter was encouraged by a devout God-fearing man named Cornelius who prayed continually and demonstrated the key attributes of a missionary. These two men, in the mission field, obeyed the Lord and demonstrated that anyone, in ALL nations, can be used to be a light in this world, either Jew or Gentile. Will you prayerfully consider being a missionary spreading the love of Christ to those around you?
