Ty Duperron is the Chief Operating Officer at Tafi, which is the creator of a high-end avatar engine used in augmented reality, virtual reality and game development. At surface level, this sounds like having a cute comic book version of yourself but this goes far deeper into the concept of ones virtual identity. We're going to dig into how this is going to apply in future interactions, for both personal and business environments.
Shea Stewart was most recently a Founder with Arctiq consulting where they worked with clients on their modern IT services needs and bringing them into the world of DevOps. 5 years ago, they were some of the only people doing this. And even now, is one of the only firms that is doing this well. Recently, he and his partners successfully exited the company after building it from the ground up.
Michael Argast is co-founder and CEO of Kobalt, a cyber security start up in Vancouver. Michael is very well known in the Vancouver Cyber Security community and for many years, held high level roles at TELUS and Sophos.

Here Comes Fall!
Hope you all had a great long weekend! For those in BC, the temperatures were great but they dipped into the evening, reminding us that fall will be here soon. Personally, I did a couple mountain bike rides at Thornhill in Maple Ridge and I was happy to not break any bones, nor did my kids. For many families, it will be a busy couple weeks as school starts up. Things will be different but I'm looking forward to getting settled.
Peter Scheffler Returns
Fan favorite, Peter Scheffler, was back with us today and he brought along Rexy. Rexy is the mascot for the YouTube channel, How Ridiculous, which is one of Peter's favorite shows (aside from the Daryl and Buu channel). It looks like they blow up a lot of things on the channel and there are 6 million subscribers at this point so we may need to blow up things on the Weekly Update soon.
