Since 1997 DJ/Producer Randy Bettis has been providing his listeners with some of the best in dance music with an emphasis on vocal house, big-room anthems, and jackin' house. Mentors are Robbie Leslie, Tony Moran, Susan Morabito, Michael Fierman & Warren Gluck. Want an uplifting and danceable mix set - you've come to the right place...I'm an ex-Broadway dance who needs to not just listen to dance music but be inspired to move. I hope I can do that for my listeners.

Originally created for my monthly EAGLERadio.PRO set, this is an easy breeze end-of-summer mix with some remakes of some delicious classic house and vocal house. With vocals by Marty Thomas, Jones Blue, Average White Band, Gladezz, Kelly Clarkson, Donna Blakley, Taz Vegas, Tom Grennan, Pink, and Robert Miles I think this will bring back some memories and help you create new memories with family and friends at your year-end parties or just lounging around the pool or sunning at the beach.

Originally aired on EagleRadio.pro this is my 2023 Pride Mix - CHOSEN FAMILY. The tracks are primarily new but I've thrown in a few classic tracks that should give you an 'Awww' moment to make you feel warm and fuzzy. As we all know these are difficult times, but of all of the arts I believe music is the one that sinks into your brain and memory and can help you feel like there are many many things to be grateful for. If you need any sign of that, just take a moment at sundown, look up into the sky at the moon and the stars, and remember that very few species have ever had that view, we are incredibly special, and even in our darkest times, we've always turned to music to express ourselves and our hope. I dedicate this PRIDE mix to my Chosen Family. The lyrics of 'Chosen Family', sung on this production by Shauna Jenson, were originally written by Jonny Lattimer, Daniel Harle, Rina Sawayama, and later Elton John teamed up with Rina to do a duet and add piano tracks.

All my life amazing women have played a part if counseling me, teaching me, supporting me, teaching me right from wrong, loving me unconditionally, and giving me the opportunity to find my place in this world. This mix set is the debut of my newest remix, “It’s My Body”, written by Steven Skeels with vocals by Rasheeda Azar and remixed by the BetBoyz (David James Boyd & Me), which is a vocal anthem dedicated to a woman’s personal freedom and personal choice. “It’s my body, not YOUR body, no one can tell me what I should do”.
I dedicate this mix set to all those who believe in freedom of personal choice, who believe in the foundation of the American Constitution, and those women who, in my life have always chosen, no matter how hard it is, to DO THE RIGHT THING.

Returning from playing on a gorgeous tall sail-ship on the Amalfi Coast of Italy I pulled some new tracks by some new artists and remixers and some of my favorites (Danny Tenaglia, Mark Picchiotti & France Joli), with some classic reworks as well as two of my own remix/bootlegs of songs that I was recently very drawn to; 'Running Through Walls' by The Script and 'Clearest Blue' by CHVRCHES which was a song that was featured in the hit Netflix series 'HeartStopper'. Hope you enjoy it.

Originally recorded to play on EagleRadio.pro, this set brings - like many of my sets - brings you some of the old, some of the new, and remixes of both. Hopefully, it will leave you smiling, feeling happy, and encouraging you to get up on your feet and dance or get in a workout, do your house chores, or just look for something to lift your spirits. With mixes by David Morales, Soul Avengerz, Dirty Disco, Hex Hector, R3HAB, and yours truly I think it will give you that lift. | Recorded at DJRB/BetBoyz Studio NY
Wherever you go, I'll be with you. Whatever you want, I'll give it to you. Whenever you need someone to lay your heart and head upon, remember, after the fire, after all the rain, I will be the flame, I will be the flame!” - Let’s be like Cheap Trick - let’s be each other’s FLAME.
This mix set is dedicated to the search for love and a reminder that every day, someone is loving you today, up closer or from afar. They may be too shy or don’t have the words to express that but if you keep an open heart you will know what’s in their heart. Telling someone how you feel about them, that you care, can literally save lives. Despite all the hateful rhetoric in this “Un-United States” accepting love and paying it forward will make a huge difference. When a Butterly flaps its wings in Australia the effects of that go around the work…just say I love you.
With tracks like Musical Freedom (Free At Last), Fall Down, Love One Another, Never Knew Love Like This Before, I Was Made for Lovin’ You, I’m Still In Love, You Make Lovin’ Fun, The Love I Lost, Fallin’ & The Flame, I hope you let the music take you away and that it gives you that lovin’ feeling.

As lovers of dance music and nightlife, we often get to Break The Dawn and see the beautiful start of a new day. "It's My Life" is a mix of Jackin' House and Vocal House music that I chose to celebrate my birthday! As we are coming out of a dark time in our history I wanted to give you some reworks of classics, some 'jackin' house' - which is a category of dance music that uses partial tracks from days gone by and updates the production values to give you a taste of some of our old favorites. Included in this is a mashup I created years ago to celebrate my birthday at the legendary SPLASHBAR nightclub in NYC where I took an existing track and layer vocals from 3 of my BFFs to create an exciting tribute to birthdays! I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did in creating it. | Recorded live at DJRB/BetBoyz Studio, NYC

2020 has been a year like no other in so many ways. During this year I tried to continue to provide fun uplifting music, sometimes with a political message, sometimes with a message of hope but always music to allow you to shake your tail feathers and let your freak flags fly...this set is no exception. Included are some new, so old (reworked), and even a holiday song. This set ends with a reworked classic in an effort to put 2020 behind us and hopefully signals the beginning of a whole new year where even through the struggles, as the world continues to tackle some big issue, we can see it through the rearview mirror and set our sights on the hope that we can return to a place of life, love and happiness to our community and to the entire world. Happy Holidays to all! ||| And in this time of tremendous suffering please don't forget to support the arts and the artists who, like many around the world, are suffering ||| Recorded live at DJRB/BetBoyz Studio NYC

For the survival of our democracy, and for our sanity, we must work harder to bring together all people while standing up to hate and divisiveness. In this time of #MeToo & #TimesUp women are really able to speak up, step up, and stand up to abuse and fair & equal treatment. During the late '90s and 2000s that strength started to be reflected in the lyrics of songs that were being remixed and played in dance clubs worldwide. Here are some of my all-time favorites in the category vocal house asserting their strength and power. In dedication to the anniversary of the 100th years of women getting the vote here in the USA, I dedicate this to all women everywhere who are risking everything in their quest to be treated as equals. OUT OF THE DJRB VAULT: This is a blast from the past! I had the distinct honor to play the closing party of the Original World-Famous Pavilion on in the Pine on Fire Island at the end of the 2010 season. That winter our original sacred space burnt to the ground. :( For many of us that original Pavilion was a home and was our church. I would frequently pay homage to the ANTHEMS of the day in my own party at the Pavilion and this one just happen to fall on the closing party of that year. Music included: Firework by Katy Perry, Release Me by Agnes, While You See a Chance by Matt Zarley ft Ellis Porter-Smith (aka Billy), Hang With Me by Robyn, I Stay In Love With You by Mariah Carey, All The Lovers by Kylie Minogue and I'll Find A Way by the amazing gay singer/songwriter Brian Kent, along with a few other gems. |
I hope you enjoy this, and for those who also happen to be there on that night I hope this brings back some sweet sweet memories of our beloved PAVILION.

As our country, and the world, seems to become more divided we need to do whatever we can as artists to reverse that trend and remind people that we actually have a lot in common and dancing together makes it easier to see that life is worth more that unbending disagreements. Dance together - work together to make the changes, even if they are compromises (which for some reason has become a dirty word) and then continue to dance.
The time is right for the people of the world to get united in dance. You & Me and Everybody, Everyone in Malaysia, everyone in africa, everyone Arabia, everyone España everyone Australia everyone Jamaica, everyone is Asia everyone Ibiza everyone in America, everyone in Europe & in Russia. So come on get up, work with me baby, life is a dance floor so why don’t you shake it with me!

DJ Randy Bettis presents an uplifting dance mix show , one filled with uplifting messages and joy, happiness, togetherness, faith, belief and the initiative in doing what I can do to help to make more effort to making this country and our world a better place.
Artists Notes: Our world is at a crossroads, division seems to be greater than any time in our modern history with the exception of the Revolution and the Civil War. We must find a way to have open dialog, even when it takes listening to the other side who you think you completely disagree with, I always think we have the capacity to figure out most all problems and when you are able to sit across a kitchen table or a in a meeting room we may still disagree, but we will be able to be a little more understanding and a little bit more ready to say 'if we can find a way to combine and collaborate on those things", maybe just maybe we will start teaching Congress a lesson...after all, this is OUR COUNTRY - Show Some Love! | Recorded at DJRB/BetBoyz Studio NYC | All Rights Reserved for Original Artists

Next up in my Masters Series is a mixset of music by grammy award winning producer/remixer Hex Hector. From the time I started DJing in 2000 right through until around 2010 there wasn't a remix by Hex Hector that I didn't purchase and play - many times I wouldn't even have to listen to it in the record store before I purchased it. Hex, along with his engineer and producing partner Mac Quayle put out an astounding number of quality dance tracks in that period so trying to fit all of my favorite ones here was impossible, but everyone that I have chosen, if you frequently nightclubs back into the 1990's and 2000's, you will remember having danced to on numerous dance floors - and all would garner huge gleeful responses from the dance for when the listener would realize what song was being mixed in. As part of my Masters Series this one features the king of vocal gospel house productions (at least that's what I call him) Mark Picchiotti. I can't think of any artist that Mark hasn't done remixes for. There seems to be no style that Mark cannot master be is progressive, jazzy, tribal or gospel house, the quality of his work is always magnificent.
Mark's productions have been featured numerous times on my GayDays CD compilations and I am fortunate enough to be able to call him my friend.
Included in the mixshow are artists such as The Absolute ft. Suzzanne Palmer, Kim English, SuSu Bobien, Hannah Jones, Basstoy and the amazing Jersey Street (vocals by Neil Reid, Matt Steele and Dawn Zee)

In 2017 I was asked to produce a 4-hour Tea Dance Mixset for the Burning Man 2017 by the 'Celestial Bodies' family, a long time resident of the annual Burning Man event. This set was signed to take you down a memory lane of vocal house music, designed to motivate the listener to dance, to socialize, to invite others into their world in an effort to bring more beautiful people into their tribal family. This is Disk 1 of the 4-Disk set.
Disk 1:
Mixed by Randy Bettis | BetBoyz Studio NYC | Aug. 2017
This set was recorded live from Hunter's Nightclub in Fort Lauderdale, FL on November 24, 2017. It was part fundraiser for an HIV/AIDS support organization called Poverello and a Tribute to DJ Wendy Hunt, who was one of the DJs for this bi-annual event, and who, after struggling with depression, took her own life. She was legendary in the club world, a mentor to me and a friend to all...especially if you owned a dog!!! :)
Produced by Joe Solar & JohnB Thorpe: DJ: Robbie Leslie, David Knapp, Randy Bettis & Warren Gluck...with a tribute set of Wendy Hunt.
My set was part 3 in the evening, with a live performance by Kitty Meow during this set.
