Spiritual Discipline Matters!
There’s a difference between cleaning up your life and surrendering it completely to Jesus.
In Luke 11:24–26, Jesus warns us about the danger of an empty house. Behavior modification may change what’s happening on the outside, but lasting transformation happens when we allow Christ to fill every area of our lives.
Persistent prayer changes the locks on the doors of our hearts. Worship gives us new furniture. The Word decorates the walls. Obedience shuts the door to the enemy.
The goal isn’t simply to remove what doesn’t belong—it’s to fill every inch of your life with Jesus: His Word, His ways, and His truth.
Don’t confuse the freedom of a cleaned-up life with the fullness of a surrendered one.
Steep your identity in Christ and His Word, build spiritual disciplines that keep you rooted in Him, and watch how the old begins to fall away.

Be the one who returns.
In Luke 17, Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one came back to thank Him. The miracle changed all ten lives, but gratitude marked only one heart.
How often do we become so focused on the blessing that we forget the One who gave it? It's easy to celebrate the breakthrough while overlooking the Savior who made it possible.

GOD IS GOOD!
Too often the circumstances of life have us forgetting the goodness of our Savior.
Never take your focus off of the truth that God is good, and He has goodness planned for you!
Time and time again we see in scripture that trials and tribulations are opportunities for His goodness to be put on display.
Set your eyes on the Lord, rest in His perfect character, and expect for the fulfillment of His promises!!!!
God is SO good!
YOU CAN’T CARRY BOTH.
Some of us are praying for new wine while still gripping old wineskins.
Jesus said you don’t sew new cloth onto an old garment. You don’t pour new wine into old wineskins. Why? Because what God is doing next cannot be contained by what you’ve refused to release.
The tragedy isn’t that God isn’t moving.
The tragedy is trying to carry yesterday into tomorrow.
Some of us are dragging around old wounds.
Old relationships.
Old mindsets.
Old habits.
Old versions of ourselves that God already called us out of.
You can’t carry both.
God is about to do something new in this house.
A fresh move.
Fresh fire.
Fresh oil.
Fresh faith.
But new wine requires new wineskins.
Before God fills your hands with what’s next, He’ll often ask you to open your hands and let go of what was.
The hardest part of walking into God’s future isn’t believing He can do something new.
It’s trusting Him enough to put down what’s familiar.
Don’t miss tomorrow because you’re still holding yesterday.
It’s time to release the old.
It’s time to make room.
It’s time for the new.

The power of life and death is in the tongue.
Speak faith filled Word rooted things and watch your life flourish, stop with the negativity and the focus on all that is wrong.
Don't expect to be victorious if all you speak is defeat.
Look at your mountain, declare your victory, and MOVE ON!!!

What we speak matters!
It is far too easy to speak on what we see and what we feel.
The challenge of the Word is to SPEAK THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU FEEL!!!
Our words should be rooted in scripture and in agreement with what God says, not what we feel or think.
Rehearsing negativity, failure, devastation and lack will produce exactly those things in our lives.
Choose instead to speak the promises of God, always looking forward to the progress we are making in Him, and watch your situation change!!!
Talk less, and declare more!
What battle are you fighting?
Ephesians 6:12 makes it crystal clear that we aren’t waging a war against people, but against spirits, ideas, and thoughts that are anti-Christ.
The enemy prowls about, seeking who he may devour. His method starts with thoughts, small seeds planted in the soil of our mind.
If we don’t recognize the tricks of the enemy, we will end up watering those seeds and creating strongholds in our minds.
Line every thought up against the truth of God’s Word, and CONTINUALLY praise Him!!!
Close every door, every access point, every opening the enemy has in to your life — this is the ONLY way to live a life led by the Holy Spirit and not the misguided flesh.
Neither give place to the devil! He wants it, but only you have the authority to give it to him, be encouraged!!!
Not by might.
Not by power.
But. By. His. Spirit.
What mountain is in your way?
Do you have sickness, an addiction, a wayward child, a financial challenge, a lack of vision, a lazy spirit?!
What is it that seems insurmountable?!
Stop elevating situations and problems above God and His mighty hand!
Surrender EVERYTHING to Christ!
Get your mouth set to praise and your feet set to dancing, because once you do, victory is on the way!!!!
Hallelujah!!!
Are you Hooked?!
Or really, what are you hooked to? We all worship at the altar of something.
Instead of worshipping at the altar of fear, worry, sickness, lack, past hurt, rejection and pain choose to lay it all down at Jesus feet!
There is no other name!!!
Surrender your life to Christ, push past the inevitable resistance that will come and choose to remain hooked to the only one with the power to save.
It is possible to sit in the presence of God, and remain unchanged.
The Parable of the Sower challenges us to examine the soil of our hearts.
Jesus teaches about 3 types of soils that bear no fruit and 1 that does:
Hardened soil of a calloused heart, shallow soil of an emotional rollercoaster, and the crowded soil of a cluttered mind will all lead to stunted growth, and end in a fruitless life.
However, a heart that is ready to hear and understand the Word of God is fertile and will bring multiplication!!!
Be convinced today that God will do what He says He will do, and that it’s His Word alone that is able to produce in your life, and watch your roots grow and your fruit blossom!!!!
God is WITH us, even in suffering and in pain.
Joseph’s life is the perfect example of how the anointing of God permeates everything!!!
GOD’S PRESENCE IS THE DIFFERENCE
Our location doesn’t change the promises of God, it doesn’t change the presence of God, and it can never change the favor of God!!!!
Stop whining about the pit, stop complaining about the circumstance.
Seek your purpose, stay focused on how much GOD IS FOR YOU, and see how the struggle of life can prepare you for the promise of the future!!!!!!!!
What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? Thankfully, Jesus Himself answers this question emphatically.
Luke 9:23 tells us to:
Deny.
Die.
Follow.
To be a disciple of Christ is the choice to daily to renew our mind with God’s Word, crucify our flesh, and killing off our old self and our old ways.
Following Christ means:
I can not do what I want!
I can not say what I want!
I can not live how I want!
All for Christ, to live is death, to die is gain
Pride will tell you that you’re good, that you don’t have anything you need to let go of. Pride will be the death of many.
Refuse to live in self absorbed comfort, accept the command of sacrifice, and watch the fullness of life God will bring to you!
Behold!
Arrest your mind, fix your eyes on Jesus
He was the lamb provided
His was the blood shed
Redemption comes through Christ blood and His blood alone
Set your eyes on Him today and trust in Him and Him alone!
The blood is enough to handle ANYTHING!!!
Faith is the pathway from where you are, to a future that you can’t currently see
Not only does it give you the strength to step forward, your faith is the stability you’ll need in the midst of uncertainties of life.
Seasons of transition are full of tension, a constant pull between what was and what is to come.
Many times, fear can become crippling, and the doubts of the enemy overwhelm the voice of God.
Joshua 1:5-11 is a resounding reminder that God’s promise of His presence is all we need to make it!!!!!
Through ups and downs, highs and lows, losses and victories, good and bad and everything in between: GOD IS WITH YOU!!!!
He has been steady for all eternity, build your faith on the foundation of His unchanging nature and confidently walk in to place God is calling you!!!!
The enemy is out there, he’s roaming around, looking for a way to get to each and every believer.
1 Peter 5:8 gives us a stern directive: be disciplined of mind and attentive of spirit.
Believers; quit opening doors and quit renting out rooms to the enemy and wondering why your life is the way it is.
The Word is your weapon.
Read the Word.
Meditate on the Word.
Clothe yourself in the armor of God, lift up a song of praise, and watch as the enemies attacks fail time and time again!
NOTHING in life changes until you get FED UP!
So many of the prisons in our life are created by our own unwillingness to confront what the enemy has sent to distract.
It is time for the body of Christ to rise up and say: NOT ANOTHER DAY
Stop playing games with the devil and put him under your feet!
Speak with authority to that distraction of the enemy!
Rejoice in the goodness of the Lord despite your circumstance and watch the chains break and freedom reign!!!!!
Revelation 6 reveals the opening of the seals and the rise of a coming world leader the Bible calls the Antichrist. He will appear persuasive, charismatic, and convincing to the masses, presenting himself as a man of peace while quietly gaining power. But behind the deception comes the unfolding of the other riders—war, famine, and death—showing how quickly the world can unravel.
Yet even in the chaos, nothing is outside God’s control. As the sixth seal opens and creation itself begins to shake, humanity realizes the truth many once mocked: God is real and the Lamb is King.
The message of Revelation isn’t fear, it’s victory. The same Lamb who judges the earth is the Lamb who was slain for us, and those who have bowed to Him will be able to stand.

LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!
The Kingdom of God is seasonal, and runs in rhythms of sewing and reaping. Jesus spells this out clearly in the parable taught in Matthew 13:24-30.
The enemy is sneaky, planting seeds of offense, doubt, bitterness, division, distraction, and so on.
One of the most challenging things to do as a disciple of Christ is to wait! Learning to be still in faith is a process, one that we MUST learn if we are to walk in victory.
Jesus’ parable teaches us:
Good seed does not exempt us from bad things.
The enemy always marks places of potential.
Corruption is not the same as destruction.
Understand the wisdom of waiting.
Remember, the seeds grow in to weeds. And those weeds can seem intolerable. However, they only pop up when the harvest is near.
Center yourself in the joy of the Lord, get quiet before Him and rest in the peace of His season.
Run your race with patient endurance!!!
The Lamb Has the Scroll
Revelation 5 opens with a question that shakes heaven: Who is worthy to open the scroll? John weeps because no one qualifies… until heaven interrupts the moment with a command: “Stop weeping.” The Lamb steps forward, scarred but sovereign, and everything shifts.
We learned that Jesus is our Kinsman Redeemer. Redemption required proximity and qualification and Christ didn’t redeem us from a distance. He came near, took on flesh, and made a way for us to be more than forgiven. We’re not just saved, we’re adopted, grafted in, and given a new identity. The seven seals point to divine completion and security, and this single scroll is the key to what unfolds next.
When the Lamb takes the scroll, weeping turns to worship. Heaven breaks out in a praise break before the seals even open because heaven already knows the outcome. The Lamb is not passive, He’s packed with power (seven horns) and perfect wisdom (seven eyes). And in the middle of trouble, God doesn’t have to “find” you, He’s already there.
This chapter is a call to live like the redeemed: walk worthy, stay close to the voice of God, and refuse a victim mindset. Your story may have pain, but Jesus redeems what was broken. And one of the most comforting truths of the night: every prayer you’ve prayed is heard and held before God. Nothing is lost. Nothing is wasted. Don’t get discouraged if it hasn’t unfolded yet.
Revelation 5 ends with heaven erupting in honor, glory, and praise to Jesus because the Creator made us… but only the Lamb can save us. And if the Lamb has the scroll, you can rest.

Where do you reside?
Spiritually speaking we all reside in either the uncertain land of hope or the certain realm of faith.
Here’s the thing; hope lives in tomorrow while faith lives in today 🙌🏻
As long as your relationship with God remains founded on hope, you will perpetually remain one day away from breakthrough.
Abraham is the perfect example of a man who believed against hope, fully convinced that God was able to do what He promised.
Do you believe God is able to make good on what His word says? Or do you just hope so?
The only way to live an overcoming life, reflecting Christ to this world, is to move from hopeful comfortability to faithful action 🔥👊🏽
Challenge yourself to grow in the belief of faith and leave behind the passive agreement of hope.
God is faithful and He will never let you down!
Culture shifts. Headlines change. Uncertainty rises. But Revelation 4 pulls the curtain back and shows us what never moves: God is still on the Throne. John is invited “after this” into a glimpse of what’s ahead, and what he sees isn’t chaos, it’s order, glory, and government.
This chapter reminds us that the rapture and the second coming are not the same event. Scripture paints a picture of believers being caught up “in the blink of an eye,” rescued from the coming wrath, because God doesn’t save His children just to pour judgment on them. The rapture is a divine moment for a ready Bride, and heaven is already signaling that something is coming.
John describes a throne surrounded by an emerald glow, echoing God’s covenant with Noah. On earth the rainbow appears after the storm, but in heaven the rainbow surrounds the Throne, showing us that mercy surrounds justice and God carries His people in His heart. Lightning and thunder are not theatrical, they’re divine warnings. The world wants the rainbow without the thunder, but God’s love doesn’t cancel His justice… it completes it.
Revelation 4 also reveals heaven’s worship. The elders, representing redeemed humanity, fall down in awe, not because of a manual, but because the presence of God is overwhelming. Praise is dependence. Praise destroys pride. Complaining and victimhood will rob your life, but when you bypass your feelings and live in praise, many problems begin to lose their grip. Worship is not just what we do, it’s what we become, and when we live in praise we’re practicing for eternity.
This message brings it home: God is the source of all things. Creation was made to give Him pleasure and praise, and God cares deeply about what He made. The answer for the world doesn’t begin in the noise… it begins at the Throne, falling at the feet of Christ.

Making decisions and basing obedience on feelings and intellect is a fast track to a life full of disfunction and wrong direction.

Our flesh and our spirit are at war; present your body as a living sacrifice and renew your mind daily, following these principles.
Your spirit will sharpen and become continuously more sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and your life will change!!!
God’s Rejection is Our Protection
Newsflash!!!
God doesn’t give us everything we ask for. Sometimes He says no.
Instead of wallowing in frustration and disappointment, let’s have faith filled responses to God’s holy “no”.
1 Samuel 16 gives us a definite understanding that our view is limited. What we see and perceive is not the full picture the Lord has.
We must trust that His plan and His way is greater than what our heart is set on right now.
Don’t build an idol in your heart to your own plans, instead anchor your faith in the unchanging Father who knows what is best in every situation!!!!
Walk in obedience to God’s word and refuse to attach your hope to an outcome, but rather the character and person of Christ.
If you do that, you will be able to have the right perspective when God closes doors and look forward to the future He has in store!
Some of you have been watching the wrong radar. You’ve been checking the economy. Checking the diagnosis. Checking the politics. Checking the opinions. But I’m coming to announce something different…There is a forecast over your life that didn’t come from earth.
If God said rain, it doesn’t matter how long there’s been drought. If God said favor, it doesn’t matter who tried to close the door. If God said increase, it doesn’t matter who tried to decrease you.
There is a shift in the atmosphere. There is pressure building in the spirit. There is a front moving in that hell cannot stop.
Heaven’s forecast is not fear. It’s not defeat. It’s not delay. It’s glory. It’s breakthrough. It’s overflow.
In Revelation 2, Jesus speaks directly to His Church and He doesn’t waste words. He commends endurance, faithfulness, and a refusal to compromise, but He also exposes what can quietly die in a church that keeps “doing the right things” with the wrong heart.
We started with a sobering truth: a church that’s not under the control of the Holy Ghost will eventually be out of control. We aren’t called to be open-minded people drifting with culture, we’re called to be Christ-minded people anchored in the Word.
Jesus rebukes the church for this: they had the fire of truth, but they lost the flame of love. It’s possible to be doctrinally sound and still spiritually dry. Truth without love becomes cold. Holiness without intimacy becomes hollow. And sometimes we can prioritize ministry, activity, and effort while our first love fades in the background.
The call of Revelation 2 is clear: Return. Repent. Be rekindled. Not just keep going, but come back to the heart of it all, Jesus Himself. Everything must exalt Him.
We also confronted compromise head-on. The Nicolaitans taught a mixture of Jesus and pagan values, treating grace like a license to sin. But Pastor Jon made it plain: you cannot walk with Jesus and dance with the devil. In a world trying to blur the lines, the Church must hold both truth and love, the way Jesus walked in truth and grace.
Then we looked at Smyrna, a church that wasn’t popular, but was faithful. They paid a price for truth. And we were challenged with a powerful gut-check: If the Bible doesn’t cut you at least once a week, you’re not reading it right. God's Word is supposed to examine us, expose motives, and align our living with what we say we believe.
Jesus closes with a promise to those who have ears to hear and the courage to endure: Don’t be afraid. Be faithful. Because whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death, the death that doesn’t end life, but ends hope. Eternity is real, and the decisions we make now matter forever.
Takeaway: Examine yourself. Is what you’re reading reflecting how you’re living? Let His Word search you, let His Spirit lead you, and let your love be rekindled. The Lord is still speaking. Are you listening?

The Bible was given to pierce the heart
God breathed it and when we receive it, new life comes!!!
Open your spirit to the truth of God’s Word and the Salvation obtained only through His son, Jesus Christ.
The Word is the seed, and the Spirit is the life!!!!
If you know you are lost, seek Him and you will find Him. If you aren’t sure and are struggling with life and flesh, seek Him and you will find Him.
God LOVED the world so much that He sent His son. He is constant and ever ready for all of His children to come home.
Revelation 1 | The Revelation of Jesus Christ
The Book of Revelation doesn’t begin with fear, chaos, or end-times confusion. It begins with a revelation of Jesus.
In this message, Pastor Jon walks us through Revelation 1 and reminds us that Revelation is not about decoding symbols as much as it is about seeing the Savior clearly. Before John sees beasts, battles, or judgments, he sees Jesus—glorified, victorious, and standing in the middle of His Church.

This is not the revelation of the end.
It’s the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Jesus hasn’t stepped away from power. He hasn’t slowed down. He hasn’t changed His mind.
The same Jesus who healed the sick, provided in famine, and restored what was broken is still at work right now.
Every miracle we’ve witnessed—Jesus did it. Every breakthrough we’ve experienced—Jesus did it. Every bill paid, every room filled, every life transformed—Jesus did it. Every open door, every healed heart, every answered prayer—Jesus did it.
He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever—and He’s moving right now. Join us this Sunday as we launch our brand-new series: “You Did It Again, Jesus.”

Every interaction we have is an opportunity for true life change. The world is hungry for truth and hope, and those in Christ have the answer.

The account of Jesus in the gospels being led in to the desert and tempted by Satan provides a clear and resounding example of understanding the right response and posture to have when we are at a low point and the enemy’s temptations come calling!!!!!

Proverbs 1 shows us:

For countless years, it’s been debated who Jesus was, what was His character? Many have asked the question about what’s Jesus’ place is in the past, the present, and the future.

What do you do when life knocks you down, deals you a tough blow? Difficulties and challenges are guaranteed to be a part of our lives. How we respond to our setbacks directly affects God’s ability to turn them in to setups!
DECISIONS DETERMINE DESTINY!
When the people of Ai had Israel on the run, faint from lack of courage, we see Joshua begin to buckle under the fear of abandonment and defeat. He cries out to the Lord, desperately afraid. Joshua had forgotten the promise of the Lord to always be with him! Often we are like Joshua, forgetting God’s promises and choosing to throw tantrums and pity parties when we fall in to a valley. Get up child of God!!!!! Don’t allow the enemy to deceive you in to believing that where you are is where you are staying. Our pain can be a pathway to purpose IF we allow God to lead us and guide us through the valleys, strengthening our faith and reliance on Him!!!!
They knew Him as the carpenter’s son—but couldn’t see the Christ standing in their midst. They only saw His past, not His power. And many of us do the same. We stay stuck in labels, caught in former seasons, blind to the fire God placed within us. But Jesus came with an anointing—divine empowerment for a divine assignment—and He didn’t just come to forgive your sin, He came to destroy the works of the Devil. God doesn’t need your plan—He needs your faith. Sarah laughed at God’s promise because she was full of facts, not faith. But God wasn’t laughing. He was serious.

God expects that we will take what we have and grown it for His glory!!!! Reject fear and the natural inclination to hide what you are supposed to multiply! To be called a good and faithful servant, we must be obedient and trustworthy to the Lord in every area of our lives. Leave fear behind, step in to faith, and see how God moved in your life!
How often do we miss God’s provision because we are too afraid to step out in faith?!
In Joshua 1:1-9 we are given a call to action. The Lord wants us to be active, following His call and moving forward. As we walk in obedience, He will make a way where there seems to be none!!!
To conquer the mountain in your life, we can’t sit around and whine about it. Complaining keeps us stuck, faithful MOVEMENT is where provision occurs.
God will not fail nor forsake, let’s go in strength and confidence and see all that He desires to do through us!!
Idols don’t always look like statues. Sometimes they look like what you can’t let go of. What you run to when life gets hard. What you think about when no one’s watching. What gets your best time, your loudest praise, your deepest affection.

It thrives when Jesus becomes optional. But here’s the thing — idols can’t save you. Idols won’t heal you. Idols leave you thirsty, empty, and bound. Freedom starts when you let the flesh die.
Peace comes when Jesus is King — not consultant.
Real life begins when you tear down what’s been standing between you and God.
Kill your idols.

Habits!!!
The ones we developed are life changing 🔥 To find true freedom and walk in the promises of God, we MUST develop the habit of discipline and the habit of not holding on to life’s cares!
What we receive in life is directly related to our level of discipline. We must be willing to deny ourselves and our flesh in order to reap an eventual harvest!!!
Hebrews 12:11 tells us that discipline is painful, but is necessary and the path to fruitfulness. Our habit of discipline WILL bring forth God’s fruit in our lives.
1 Peter 5:7 gives us the command to cast our cares & concerns on to the Lord because HE CARES FOR US! When we choose to be disciplined and focus on God’s resolutions for the situations in our life, we will see change! Fill your atmosphere with gratitude and praise, watch God work it out!!!
Do you have enough faith to trust the process of a life lived for Christ? What kind of habits are you developing? Our habits have the power to build us up or tear us down!!!! Galatians 6 reminds us to not grow weary in doing good. The trials of life can cause us to question if what we are doing is worth it, but we KNOW there is a harvest and a promise when we persevere!!!! What season of life are you in right now? A season of favor? Famine? The account of Joseph’s life in Genesis gives us the blueprint for how to navigate the highs and lows of life while continually moving forward. Joseph refused to look to the past and what had been, keeping his eyes on God and using his gifts in EVERY circumstance to bring glory to Him. Because of Joseph’s response to the famine seasons of his life, the fruit he bore in the seasons of favor was ripe and plentiful. How we cultivate our strengths during seasons of favor, will determine our ability to withstand seasons of famine!!!!! Keep your emotions in check, and your focus on Christ, who is the author and finisher of your faith! This season might be tough, but it’s not the end of your story!!!!
Potholes, we love to hate em! Every one of us has hit at least a few in our lives. For the most part, they come without warning or announcement. To mature is to realize we will 100% face problems in our lives, both avoidable and unavoidable. How we navigate these problems defines how we come through the season they so often place us in!!!! Proverbs 22:3 teaches us that anticipating problems is not a lack of faith, but a sign of wisdom. God has a destination point, a calling for our life. As we travel the road towards destiny, setbacks will occur, it is inevitable. However, in 2 Samuel 6 we learn from King David how to hit a pothole of life, fall down, and GET BACK UP!!! No matter what you’ve gone through, are going through right now, or will go through in the future, you can have a renewed sense of passion and joy in your life! If you’ve been feeling hopeless or downcast, sad or confused, look to Christ who is the great Restorer!!!
If you don’t get your thoughts under control, your life will always be out of control! God’s Word tells us that He had mighty things in store for you and your best days are in front of you. Any thoughts that fail to line up with those two things aren’t worthy of your attention! If you’re only focused on what you’ve lost, you’ll never have the capacity to focus on what God has in store for your life. Keep on your spiritual armor through the daily renewing of your mind and live victoriously through Jesus! Don’t allow the enemy to get a stronghold that will leave you oppressed and hopeless! Build a fortress of the Word of God around your heart and experience all of the healing, wholeness, and direction the Lord has planned for your life!
It’s time for you to reprogram your mind with the truth of the Word! Whatever occupies your mind will determine your destiny, and you’ll never be able to claim victory until you learn to think in line with the truth. Satan will work overtime to flood your mind with images, trying to pull you into sin, but remember: sin doesn’t kill you all at once. It starts with seeds of thought that will grow if you don’t cast those thoughts down! Don’t let torment become your comfort! Don’t be someone who doesn’t know who they are without their pain! Guard your heart ABOVE ALL ELSE and BELIEVE what God says you can do! Start speaking the Word over your pain, your heartbreak, your finances, your relationships, your family, your LIFE, and watch our God begin to work the miracles He’s promised you!

The evidence of those who are disciples of Christ is transformation and real life change! When we look to Jesus as our example, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, it’s impossible to stay the same!!!
The notion that our actions don’t matter is not biblical. Jesus requires us to be DOERS not just PROFESSORS!!!!!!

When You’re in the In-Between, God is Already Moving! 🔥
The greatest battles of life happen in the in-between—that wilderness, that transition, that place where nothing makes sense. But while you’re wondering if God is still working, He’s already preparing the breakthrough! 🙌
Some only serve God when it serves them, only love Him as much as they can use Him. But faith isn’t about convenience—it’s about trust in every season! Even when life doesn’t taste good, gratitude is your weapon! 🛡️
The enemy may try to bite you, but God is using what was meant to destroy you to bring healing! (John 3:14-15) The cure is coming from the venom! 🐍➡️⚡
The in-between is where you choose: Will I walk in fear, or will I walk on what tried to walk on me? Don’t get stuck in the desert of doubt—fix your eyes on Jesus! He’s in the NOW, turning your mess into a miracle! 💥
While your enemies are plotting against you, God is preparing a breakthrough in your favor! We cannot have blessings without enemies, and in the midst of our pain, God gives us a promise for a greater future. He doesn’t base our next chapter on what we’ve lost or what’s behind us. Faith is forward-moving! Don’t get caught up in looking at your past; don’t get stuck in reverse! Don’t let yourself idolize His blessings when they’re just the overflow of His goodness! Just as God parted the Red Sea to both deliver His people and destroy their enemies, He will show you a road you never knew existed, giving you power to pass through troubled waters! With faith, we partner with the invisible to accomplish the impossible! Stop wrestling! Stop vindicating yourself! Focus on Jesus, not the conflict, because the anointing of God is about to do what flesh never could!

Satan will try to deceive you into thinking your situation is hopeless, but we have something far more powerful than the enemy’s deceit and lies: a personal relationship with the Lord that unlocks the benefits of His Word! Don’t let yourself be a victim! Don’t let your pain change His promise! Never forget the goodness of God that draws us to repentance! God won’t force you to follow, but He’s asking — are you willing to be led? Place your trust in Him and experience the goodness and mercy He has planned for all the days of your life!
Are you full of joy? Or does your answer to that question depend on how the day has gone? It is possible to live a life of joy DESPITE circumstance and situation!!!! Determine to be resolute in joy, allowing no thing, no situation, and no person to have access to your storehouse of joy. Satan constantly sends distractions to us in an attempt to rob us of joy. Refuse to allow him to succeed!!! If the devil can’t steal your joy, he can’t keep your goods!!! As we enter in to 2025, make an active choice to maintain joy in ALL areas of life!!! Develop an attitude of praise and thanksgiving even when it doesn’t make sense!!! Understand that confident joy comes from Christ alone, and in Him you can have the victory!!!!!!
A powerful prayer life starts when we INVITE God in to our everyday life and situations!!!
It’s easy to fall in to the habit of informing God of all the things going wrong, and all the ways we are struggling, however there is NO power in complaining.
Shift your perspective and begin to extend an invitation to the Lord to intervene in EVERY area of your life!!!! It won’t take long for you to start recognizing how often He moves on your behalf. What is currently stealing your joy? What is currently threatening your peace? Invite God directly in to those situations and strip off all of your old habits and mindsets.
Tomorrow belongs to God, look to the future and trust in Him!!!!
Do you want to be made whole? What area of your life have you stayed comfortable in for far too long?!
Jesus’ encounter with the man at Bethesda challenges us to look at our lives and find places where we have allowed disfunction to hinder us from growing.
To mature in the Lord and see progress, we MUST get rid of the barriers built by our past choices and experiences.

The life of David is a perfect example for how we should face adversity and the storms of life. Before David fought Goliath, he declared the victory; not through his own might but through the power of Almighty God!!!!!! We must keep our eyes focused on Christ and remember that He is and always will be Emmanuel, God with us!!!! Because of His presence, we WILL come out of every valley and every storm and reign victorious over the things in life that come to take us out!!!!
Praise God that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God! Jesus was not just a man, not just a prophet, but the eternal, uncreated Son of God! The power of the gospel is in the revelation of who Jesus really is: the image of the invisible God! When you start thinking of Jesus as a created being, you miss the fact that He is the eternal redeemer who existed before your mistakes, your mess, and your pain. He was already carrying the weight of your sin on the cross before you ever failed! Jesus is not reactive to your failure; He is proactive in His love! Don’t let the world convince you that Jesus only cares about your success, your purpose, or your strength. He’s our Kinsman Redeemer, the one who stepped down from Heaven, not because He had to, but because He was willing to pay the price for your redemption. He wasn’t forced to come to earth — He chose to become one of us, to carry our burden, to destroy the works of the devil and transform our weakness into victory. Your pain, your failure, your chaos cannot cancel the mission that Christ has placed on your life! He came to save you, not to sympathize with you, and He is with you now, transforming your weakness into strength! Keep your eyes on Him! Joy and blessings are coming, in Jesus’ mighty name!
Patience. It’s a fruit of the spirit, and one that most of us would say we don’t operate in very often. In our culture of now, with fear of missing out at an all time high, patience can seem to be unattainable. However, the Word promises that our patience will grow as our faith is tested. When the storms of life come, are we placing our trust in God and responding only how and when He wants us to?! If we choose to WAIT with confident trust in our great God, our patience will grow and we will find ourselves able to navigate the tough times of life with joy and peace unaffected!!!!!
Stop waiting, start working!!!
Have you been waiting for a promise from God’s Word to come to pass in your life? Too often we find ourselves in a stagnant state, idly waiting for the Lord to move. This is futile, and leads to a life of constant frustration!
Study God’s word, put it to work in your life, watch your faith grow and prepare yourself to walk in to the new seasons God has planned for you!!!!!!
Do you care more about reality or perception? Fools will tell you that perception IS reality, but those same people will lie about who they are because they’re too weak to face the truth. Jesus tells us that there are people who will honor Him with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him! They may look, talk, act, and dress the part, but the reality is that Jesus will tell them, “Depart from me; I never knew you!” Time is short and you have to make the choice of whether you’re just going to have a form of godliness or if you’re a sold-out believer! Anyone who isn’t with the Lord opposes Him; anyone not working with Him is working against Him. As believers, we must the truth, tell the truth, and allow the truth to be told! Don’t just be perceived as good while you’re really out there doing evil. Build your faith through the unchanging truth of the Word of God, and anchor yourself to God’s reality!
Following Jesus does not absolve us from the responsibility of making choices in our every day lives. There is a powerful connection between the choices we make and the consequences we face. Let’s not spend our lives blaming others for choices we are making!!!

Just because people have a lot of passion about something doesn’t mean they’re right! Passion without transformation leads to dysfunction. John was called the apostle of love, but he didn’t start out that way — Jesus called him and James the sons of thunder because their passion was misdirected! John allowed Jesus to soften him and didn’t allow who he used to be to define him. What are you letting control your identity? If you allow yourself to be defined by who you used to be, God can’t take you to where you’re supposed to be! Let Jesus redirect your thunder for His glory, and allow God’s transformational power to rewrite your story!
God’s call on ALL of our lives is to respond to the gospel and choose to walk it out, living in Christ and representing the fruits of His spirit.
Do our choices and decisions come from God or do they come from the desires of our flesh? The motives behind our actions matter!!!

Do you live your life walking in authority? Or are you jumping from panic to panic and in a constant “freak out” mode? Ephesians shows us the power given to us by Christ and helps us to see that because of this power Satan’s rule over our lives should be OVER! Let’s set aside our victim vocabulary and pick up our crown of confidence. God has given us power and authority over the enemy and His schemes, to be victorious we must believe that and walk confidently in His power!!!!
The Apostle Paul reminds us that the sufferings of this present world are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us! Maybe you’re in a season of pain, heartache, and trials. Maybe you’re trying to make sense out of the nonsensical difficulties you’re finding yourself in. But we serve a God who knows how to make his people profit in the midst of pain! Never judge your situation while you’re still in the liability stage. You can’t have liabilities without eventually accruing assets! What you do today will determine your tomorrows! How you respond to the pain will have a direct effect on the provision you receive! We are joint heirs with Christ! Don’t finalize the audit of your life while you’re still in emotional despair. Count it all joy! The season you’re in will pass and you will be proven to be unbeatable and victorious, in Jesus’ mighty name!
If you are waiting for the noise to stop before you move forward, you will always remain right where you are! The enemy wants you to be paralyzed. You can’t wait for the enemy to leave you alone before you move forward! The apostle Paul said I’m not where I want to be, but I’m forgetting those things that are behind me and I’m pressing on! You gotta know who you are in Christ, and you can’t let your enemies OR your fans determine that for you. Until you know it in the noise, you don’t know it at all! Your fans can’t make you, and enemies can’t break you, so don’t listen to any of it. Know that it’s Jesus who will protect you! Know that your cup runs over! Know that you’ll get through! Know that He’s enough! Know it in the valley! Know it in the pain! Let knowing in the noise be the only thing that sustains you, in Jesus’ mighty name!
The influence of the Antichrist is subtle and demonic. This spirit is seductive and active right now, pulling people away from their first love of Christ. There is a rebellion against the authority of God’s Word. There is a consequence for lawlessness and sin. Full obedience to the Word is a requirement, partial obedience is disobedience and will lead us to a path of deception. We MUST guard ourselves against the delusional lies of the enemy, and stay close to the Word of God. Let’s make sure to turn our hearts to repentance and staying close to the truth of His Word. Lord give us eyes to see the truth, ears to hear the truth, and a heart to receive the truth!!!!!
The enemy loves nothing more than to give you things that look and sound true, but Jesus says, “I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life!” In our world, truth has become a feeling, or an ideology, or a perception; it’s no longer looked at as an absolute. The majority will tell you that the truth is inclusive and tolerant, or that you can have YOUR truth and I can have MY truth. But God’s Word tells us that the majority is wrong because WIDE is the path to destruction and NARROW is the path of righteousness! Jesus does not lobby His ideas or lobby the truth; He IS the truth! Truth does not hold multiple narratives, and there are not many avenues that are acceptable. Open your eyes and see is the light of Christ! He offers you a life of abundance, fulfillment, and a relationship with your Creator! Stop being so blinded to the truth that you celebrate the bondage Satan has you in as freedom. Know the truth that is Jesus Christ, and allow the truth to set you free!
Have you ever gone after what God has placed in your heart, but because of the obstacles along the way, your hope began to shrink? I believe the devil can see the writing on the wall when breakthroughs are about to happen in our lives and when God is about to unleash the very thing the enemy has been trying to prevent! Devil’s whole mission is to disrupt your peace and cause your hope to dwindle! As far as Satan’s concerned, nothing is off limits when it comes to trying to take you out. Don’t you have an ounce sympathy for the one who’s trying to slice you! The Lord has called you for such a time as this, and you better refuse to sell your calling for convenience! The enemy is trying to scare you because he knows it’s time for your harvest. Wherever there’s a harvest, there’s always a scarecrow trying to scare you out of the blessing! It’s time for you to put Satan on notice! Quit allowing him to run you over! Put a demand on the Word of God, remain obedient, and let the enemy know that you’re not for sale!
Every good and perfect gift comes from our Heavenly Father, and he has graced you for this time and this season! There may be people lying about you, dragging your name through the mud, and turning their back on you, but God says my grace is sufficient for you! His grace is unmerited favor, gives you what you don’t deserve and cannot earn, and is allowing you to live out your calling! It isn’t just a one time gift. His grace has been building you, preparing you, and qualifying you. Look back see His faithfulness your yesterdays and let it prepare you to go through your tomorrows! You are about to enter your season of multiplication! It’s time to serve the devil notice! The Lord will deliver you out as you keep standing on His word and keep your mind alert and renewed!
There is nothing that Satan wants more than for you to live in deception! Satan’s motive is for you to experience physical, spiritual, and eternal death, and he does that by getting you to believe his lies. The enemy will sow thoughts that God isn’t good, what God says isn’t true, and that living right doesn’t matter. Those lies will start to sound a lot like truth! If Satan can get you to not believe in God’s Word, it’s as good as believing God doesn’t exist. If Satan can get you to justify sin, you will stop calling it sin and start calling it freedom! God wasn’t just giving advice in His Word, and it’s the devil’s gospel that God won’t punish sin! Guard your mind by hiding God’s Word in your heart!
Abiding in Christ is the ONLY way to love a fruit filled life!!!! Jesus is the true source, the vine, when we are connected to him we become branches that produce fruit. God is the gardener, who takes care of us by pruning and cutting the things that will keep us from continually bearing more and more fruit!!!! Don’t be discouraged during seasons and times of pruning, instead remain faithful and stable, and watch the Lord grow you as only He can do!!!

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and not on confusion, chaos, and uncertainty! We live in a world of know-it-alls, but sometimes the best thing you can do is to admit that you don’t know what to do. In those moments, throw your hands up and trust that Jesus will see you through! Keep your eyes on the Lord, even when it’s not fun, even when it’s not exciting, and even when it’s offending people who are in the dark! When you truly fix your eyes on Jesus, it will change how you stand and where you stand! Line yourself up with Him and be encouraged that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
Comparison is one of the biggest stumbling blocks to living a joyful and fulfilled life. When we compare ourselves and our lives’ to other people we will either puff up in pride or sink down in insecurity. The temptation to compare will come, just remember that no one has a perfect set of circumstances, and everyone experiences pain. Instead of living in the discouraging land of comparison, let’s walk in love and compassion towards everyone we encounter. God created each of us with a unique plan and being jealous and hateful or covetous is a distraction that stops us from focusing on who HE made us to be and on His purpose for our lives!!!
The Lord has something greater in store for you, and it’s time for you to stop wearing yourself out by searching for the wrong thing! The devil wants to discourage you by getting you to believe that your constant struggling and adversity are normal. You’ll never seek freedom when Satan has robbed your knowledge of what you’re supposed to have! In the parable of the woman who was searching for her missing coin, the coin was still a coin even when it was lost. It still held the same value! The enemy wants you to question your value and think you’re an inconvenience to God. God is fully aware of what you’ve been through! You are valuable! Don’t ever think your mistakes make you insignificant! You’ll be miserable until you realize how much God loves you!

Jesus has a great blessing for us, but it isn’t always what we think and it doesn’t come without a cost! To be blessed is to have a deep rooted joy and peace, unmoved by our external circumstances. The only way we can have that is to surrender, we must admit we are helpless without Christ!!! Without humbly understanding only He can save us we will never pursue a true and lasting relationship with God! The sermon on the Mount is simple, yet in it Jesus teaches us how we can embrace a truly blessed life only by clinging to His words and His ways!!!!!
God's promises are not just words on a page but a living, breathing testament to our inheritance as His children. It's time to rise up and claim God's Word over every area of our lives!
Keep praying according to God's will. When we align our prayers with His promises, we are not only affirming our faith but also activating His power in our circumstances. Remember, the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. So, let's wield it with confidence, knowing that His promises are yes and amen!
Claiming our rights isn't about demanding from God; it's about stepping into the fullness of what He has already provided for us. Whether it's healing, provision, peace, or purpose-it's ours for the taking when we pray according to God's will. Stand firm on His Word, declare it over your life, and watch mountains move!

Do you hunger and thirst after the Lord and His Word?! Are you seeking after Him and His truth? God’s supply never runs out, He is always willing to fill you up. Just remember, you can never be filled past the space you create for Him in your life!!!! Make more time for Him in your daily life, invite Him in, give Him full reign to disrupt your schedule and priorities. Watch how He fills up EVERY empty space you make and overflows you with the blessings only He can give!
Do you know who you are? Before God can bless you, you have to be able to face yourself! It’s only when you admit who you are that God can change you into who you’re supposed to be. Get alone with God and wrestle with Him! Seclusion helps rid us of distraction so we can focus on what the Lord wants to do in our lives. Don’t get discouraged when your camp is emptied out and you’re the only one left — people’s departure can be an opportunity for God to show up! Operate in the kind of faith that says, “God, I’m not gonna let you go until you give me what you promised me!” God’s looking for people who will put a demand on His Word! Give yourself up so that the Lord can take over. It might leave you with a limp, but don’t let the limp fool you — it’s just a sign that you’ve been through something! Let God break your will so He can break forth blessings in your life!
The false thinking that your life can’t or won’t get any better is a lie from the pit of hell! By faith, whatever situation you’re in can change. The Word tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, and that faith come by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Faith activates the very real things God wants to do in your life, but you can’t have faith without investing your time and energy into knowing the Word! Faith isn’t just believing or hoping God will do something; it’s doing what God says to do to prove that you believe it. Faith is sharing responsibility with God for what He’s promised in His Word through our obedience to His Word! Quit being disobedient and expecting to experience the benefits of obedience! God has something mighty in store for you; start operating by faith and watch the impossible happen in your life!
Did you know God had a plan in place for your life before you were even born?! Whether or not you know what it is yet or not, doesn’t change the truth that He does!!! God wants us to lean in to Him, to give Him all of our fears and concerns and weaknesses, so that He can show us the calling He has for our lives and equip us to walk it out on a daily basis!!!!! Don’t get caught in the trap of self pity and doubt the incredible future and good plans the Lord wants to come to pass in your life. In Jeremiah 1, we see how God wants us to surrender our doubts to Him, obey His word in our lives, and watch the mighty ways He will move!!!!
The devil may want to distract, demotivate, and discourage us, but we’re shouting hallelujah anyhow!
The enemy doesn’t know what to do when you respond to your pain with praise. A hallelujah allows us to boast in God and give a joyous praise in song, but maybe you’re still stuck in the mess you’re in because you’ve never bothered to raised up a hallelujah. When you think you’re not going to make it, give Him a hallelujah anyhow! When people are spreading lies about you, give Him a hallelujah anyhow! When the doctor’s report is grim, give Him a hallelujah anyhow! You might not feel like it — it’s hard to have a praise when you’re going through hell — but victory comes when you do things you don’t want to do. It’s called a sacrifice of praise for a reason! It’s a sacrifice to shout for joy in pit of despair! Stop putting up with what the devil is trying to scheme in your life! Stop looking at your situation and start looking at your Creator! Stop complaining, and praise Him with a hallelujah anyhow!
Do you allow God’s Word to settle into your life so that it can produce change? Just because people sit in church and hear the gospel doesn’t mean change will take place! The parable of the sower shows us that not only were hearts created by God to bring forth fruit when God’s Word is planted in it, but that not all hearts can be receptive to the truth! Has your heart been hardened by sin? Are you just hoping for a quick fix from God? Are the pleasures of this world choking out the seed that’s been planted in your heart? Only the fertile soil of an open heart can be receptive to God’s truth! We must be able to hear AND understand what the Holy Spirit is telling us through the Word. Jesus is the Gardner who can give you that fertile soil and change your heart – no other soil is able to receive the seed! The Lord is looking for His steadfast and immovable people in these last days. Come to Him and let him do the work of changing your heart!
Recognizing that something is wrong in our lives doesn’t automatically change that thing! The Bible tells us in James we must set aside and repent of all of the filthiness that sin brings into our lives. True freedom is found in submitting to Gods ways above our own!!!! Then we will be able to eliminate distractions as we make the decision to continually renew our mind and humbly follow the Lord. When we are meek in spirit and give God’s ways first place in our lives, we can receive the power only He can give that changes our thoughts and our minds, setting us on the right path!
It’s time to flip the script! Too many times we get stuck in memories, regrets, and the pains of the past. Paul instructs us in Philippians to press forward, to keep our eyes focused on what’s ahead, and to forget the past!!!!
Holding on to unforgiveness, towards ourselves and others, chains us up and places us in bondage. In Christ, we can break free and make the decision to forgive!!! Refuse to allow the past to influence and affect the mighty plans God has for your future. Choose to forget. Choose to forgive. Focus your gaze on where the Lord is leading, and watch your life radically change!!!!
Be careful about momentary pleasures that end up becoming a permanent destination! When you want to do your own thing instead of God’s thing, it eventually will bring a great famine to every area of your life. The prodigal son didn’t ask for his inheritance to have a higher standard of living — he was born into the money, he already had servants, he already lived in a palace! He asked for his inheritance out of wanting to control his future. He didn’t think it was enough to live under the blessing of his father! Like the prodigal son, you might think you can take your blessing with you, but you can’t live in the blessing if you don’t stay in the house. God will not stop you from sinning, and His blessings aren’t transferable to your new life of disobedience! Don’t move yourself from where the Lord has planted you! Don’t let the enemy blind you to the truth and a fog on your mind! The enemy can’t send a famine to your life when you have food, your needs are met, and you’re where God has called you to be — stay obedient and stay in the house!
In Christ, we are deserving of abundance, provision, and breakthrough, but He won’t bless people He can’t move things through. God wants us to trust Him when it comes to managing the fruit He has brought into our lives! So many things are promised to us in the Word, and there is a choice on our part attached to every one of those promises. God needs believers who are willing to sacrifice and crucify flesh on a daily basis; it’s the partial obedience that’s problematic! Everybody wants to experience His goodness without the obedience, but what you choose to do with what God has given you is going to determine the overflow in your life. God wants to see if you’re going to hoard the tangible or if you’re going to invest the tangible so that others can experience the intangible. There is no accidental success in the Kingdom of God! Don’t serve the Lord closed-fisted! If you want to see His Will in your life, you must obey His Word!
Are you looking for the right thing in the wrong place? The angels asked the women who came to the tomb looking for Jesus, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” What God wants to do in your life will not happen in a dead place. Yoh have to stop trying to go back to the past and fix what used to be! Stop putting your resources into things God has moved on from. You can’t stay in your grave because the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you! If He is risen, then you have got to rise up in Jesus. You don’t have to live a locked up life! If your soul is broken, bruised, and bleeding today, come to Jesus!
The Holy Spirit wants to do a mighty work in your life, and God’s going to get rid of everything in your life that’s bringing pollution to your soul! The hardest thing to do is to get people to change — even after God had delivered the Israelites out of Egypt, they were still acting more like Egyptians than Hebrews. You become what you are around! Is it possible that you’re already free and you just don’t know it? Is it possible that God’s already brought you out of where you came from, but you haven’t brought where you came from out of you? Maybe the problem is you’re trying to cling on to something that shouldn’t have any place in your life! He’s not trying to change your mountain; He’s using your mountain to change you, and until He sees your past coming off, He’s going to tell you to take another lap. Let your past fall off you as you walk with God! Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the voice of the Lord! Keep moving forward in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ mighty name!
When you’re feeling weary of continually telling the Lord “I’ll do better next time,” it’s time to ask Him to do a work in you from the inside out! Until you get a miracle on the inside, you’ll never have any power, joy, fulfillment, or freedom in your life. What good is any external blessing without God’s peace and joy in your heart? The Bible calls King David a man after God’s own heart, and even he cried out for the Lord to create in him a pure heart, renew a steadfast spirit within him, and to grant within him a willing spirit to sustain him. Satan will use our moments of unfaithfulness to distract us! What is in your life right now that you just need to put away? What has been robbing you of your joy? What cares have you not given to the Lord? Crucify the flesh and receive the season of wholeness the Lord has waiting for you!
A successful life is not measured by your popularity or possessions; it’s measured by discovering and working in the divine direction God has for you! God commands us to obey His voice and keep His covenant — you can’t get trapped in comparing yourself to others if you’re going to be used by God! God is calling you to discover His specific vision for your life, and while the vision can be very simple, His instructions won’t make any sense to our logic. Trust His instructions and direction — there’s no amount of human effort can match God’s plan! Stay walking in faith so His direction doesn’t lead you into fear! Be encouraged today — there’s no one else who can fulfill the specific calling and vision God has for your life!
Are you missing out on the promises of God? The enemy is doing everything in his power to distract you from acting upon what is promised to us in God’s Word! The Bible calls us to fight the good fight of faith, which means we have to take action and refuse to be inactive concerning God’s promises! Plenty of folks know the Word of God, but you won’t experience change until you act upon the Word, and you cannot act upon the Word beyond the knowledge you have of it! Weak faith is caused by a lack of knowledge of God’s word – you can’t be obedient to something you don’t know! Stop waiting on God to do what he has called you to do and stop arguing with God’s Word. Step into the authority given to you and crush the very thing that was sent to crush you!
Before the confidence the Lord has for you can be found, the fear the enemy is using to confuse you must be crushed! The Lord has given you specific gifts and has a specific calling on your life, and there is a difference in being confident in God and being confident in what He’s called you to do. When we’re walking in faith and being both knowers AND doers of the Word, it will cancel confusion and ignite confidence in our lives! God is going to help you! God is going to see you through! Refuse to let fear cause you to forgo something that faith says you can have!
We pray because Jesus told us to! His whole life was a model for the intimate power of prayer. Not only does praying encourage us, but it is the foundation for our relationship with God and and is the way we request of the Lord what it is that we need. Jesus gives us instruction on how we should pray too, and all of it rooted in knowing God’s Word. God loves us SO much, let’s praise Him for how good He has been and pray with confidence knowing He is eager to hear from us!
Stop letting the enemy build monuments out of things that were only meant to be moments in your life! Satan would love nothing more than for you to remain in a state of depression and hopelessness, and he attempts to keep you there by getting you to believe the lies of Hell. Don’t be a full-time babysitter for the devil’s thoughts! The Word tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. God doesn’t hold His joy hostage from His children, and the storm doesn’t have to be over for you to have joy! He’ll give you His peace in the midst of the storm! Rise up and shine, for your light has come!
Every setback you’ve experienced has prepared you for the mighty breakthrough about to happen in your life! In 1 Samuel, the Israelites reminded themselves that “up until this point the LORD has helped us!” The Lord has and will continue to help you. God never meant for you to lose! Daily we are in a spiritual fight, and the blessings and territory that God wants to give us will only come if we stay in faith. How you perceive things determines how you receive things, so keep standing on His word! Let the Lord go before you and prepare yourself for the expansion He has for your life!
The Lord is shifting the things that have deceived you and held you back and He's preparing to take you to another level! Moving into a season of preparation will bring new challenges — it may have seemed easy to fight battles in the valley, and as you move into new heights, it’s going to be harder to operate with less oxygen! But God wants you to go after something so large that failure is guaranteed unless He steps in. He’s calling you into things that will defy common sense, ignore previous experience, and disregard your feelings, training, and need for security. It is only your dependence on God that will make you useable for His glory! Step out of relying on your own capabilities and step into the hands of God — that’s how you’ll be able to fulfill His calling on your life!
The Lord wants us to expand our territory, and enlarge our boundaries, so that we can have greater influence for Him!! Don’t fall in to the mindset that you are a benchwarmer but make up your mind to be a boundary buster! Speak only the truth of God’s word, refuse to remain in your comfort zone, and sing praises to Him at all times!!! God wants to do exceedingly and abundantly more than you can ask or imagine, set your mind on things above and watch Him perform the word in your life!!!!!
Just because God’s favor is on your life doesn’t mean you won’t visit some valleys, but there is a day coming where you will be overwhelmed by the promises God has given you, not the pain of your current situation! Something in your future will erase the pain of your past. God will bless you as you choose to stay in faith and refuse to walk in bitterness! Go into 2024 with your hopes higher than they’ve ever been, your faith renewed in God’s Word, and the promise that your best days are ahead of you! This will be a year of expansion in your life, in Jesus’ mighty name!
The Lord has a mighty plan for your life! God is trying to get you somewhere you’ve never been, and to get there, you can’t keep holding on to what God is calling you to move out of. Let loose of your grip on the past! Tune your ear to the voice of the Holy Spirit and operate in the wisdom that only comes from our Savior! He has a plan to sustain you and cover you, even when you encounter the unexpected. Prepare yourself and begin thanking Him for the expansion He has planned for you in this next season!
There is a light in the darkness that may be surrounding your life, and that light is Jesus! He is faithful in every season, no matter what it seems like! Jesus brings hope, love, joy and peace to those who are feeling discouraged, rejected, worn out, or in distress. Look to the light this season and every season and watch Him transform your life in a way that NOTHING else can do. The light of the world is Jesus Christ, celebrate Him today!
The Lord is calling you today to move out of your fear and back into faith! Just because you have mighty victories doesn’t mean you won’t visit low valleys, and the enemy of our soul will send messengers with an Ahab and Jezebel spirit to do whatever he can to keep you in fear, doubt, and despair. Take your eyes off yourself, be a hearer and doer of the Word, and remember that you are not alone! Overcome the intimidation of a fallen culture by acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life and stay planted in the truth!
If you haven’t noticed, this world has gone crazy!! Peace seems like it is hard to come by, but thankfully God’s Word shows us exactly how to have a perfect peace no matter what’s going on!!!! Having a peace that isn’t based on circumstance is worth more than anything the world can offer. The Bible tells us to pray, to set pride aside and tell the Lord what it is that we need, and to give thanks in everything. Set your mind on the things above, and refuse to allow the false peace of the world to satisfy you any longer! God has a true, abiding peace and it’s available if we are willing to be obedient to His word. Remember, without God’s peace you can’t think right, decide right, move right, love right, or act right!!!!!!!
Have you ever had a moment where you cried out to God because you didn’t know what to do? Are some of the pieces of your life scattered, and you’ve been trying to work out how to put them all together? Be encouraged!!! The Word of God tells us what to do, when we don’t know what to do! Stop talking up your current situation and problem, and start talking to the promises of the Word. The only way to pull together the dry bones of your life is to obey God and speak His word. Prophesy to your situation, just like Ezekiel did, focusing not on where you are, but where you’re going!!!! God’s promises and His word will work in our lives when we are obedient to put it into action!!!!!
Don’t let the enemy’s tricks of discouragement work on you! He wants to get you in a place of discouragement so he can mess with your mind like never before. The devil wants you to give up! But praise God that our Father is always with us and has already gone before us in every situation! So many people never make it to their battle because they can’t get past the words spoken against them, but discouragement runs out of oxygen the moment you place your eyes on Jesus! Speak faith to your fear and remain faithful to the house of the Lord! Encourage yourself in the Lord and be careful of who and what you seek when you’re discouraged. You’re not fighting the natural! Your giant wants you to submit to a spirit of discouragement so you’ll abandon the victory! Stay in the Word and remember His promises so you’re equipped with a Kingdom response for every attack of the enemy!
It’s time for the church to take a stand and declare that we are NOT FOR SALE! We are called to know and follow God’s Word without compromise! Many churches out there have become one of Satan’s greatest tools for deception since folks go expecting to hear the truth and end up hearing a lie from someone posing as an ambassador of Christ. The true believers aren’t going to bargain with God or look for loopholes; they’re simply going to obey God and what His Word states! He’s gonna walk through the fire with you when you stand with Him — it’s not gonna turn out like you thought! Center everything in your life around God’s Word and watch what He’ll do for you!

When you’re in a spiritual desert you might not get what you asked for, but you’ll get what you need. The Israelites got what they needed but they didn’t like it. They didn’t like the manna God provided. They were ready to go back into slavery to get something that tasted good. You gotta learn to be grateful even when the provision isn’t what you want or what you asked for.
So what did God do when they began to complain? He sent poisonous snakes. BUT, when the people humbled themselves and confessed their sin and asked Moses to go to God for them God gave Moses a solution. It wasn’t what they asked for but it was what they needed.
Sometimes not getting what you asked for is the greatest gift you can receive.
We’re not wasting any more time putting up with the devil’s schemes! We’re breaking his power and declaring victory in the mighty name of Jesus! We know that what we go through doesn’t determine the goodness of God, even though the world might try to tell us it does. We’re done with letting those under a Babylonian influence have any say over our lives. Stop letting those under the direct control of demons dilute your faith! Stop following this world’s narrative and succumbing to its demonic forces! Declare the power and authority that rightfully belongs to you as a child of the one true King!
All of God’s promises are yours for the taking, but it’s your faith that will allow you to receive them! A lot of people think you have to have big faith if you have a big problem or to receive a big blessing. But that’s not what the Word says! We’re told that faith the size of a mustard seed can move your mountain. The promise is not proportional! We don’t have to have equivalency to receive. And once that mountain is moved, you’ll be able to see the other side of breakthrough and blessing!
The people of Nexus Church are experiencing crazy blessings because of their FAITH. Their faith is built up because they’re in the Word and they know the Word WORKS. God doesn’t need a lot to do a lot. Start with a mustard seed of faith and see its limitless potential!

Rejection can be difficult to face, but if we choose to wallow in rejection we will miss the blessing God has for us. Jesus was rejected, as well as Moses, David, and many of the men and women of the Bible. It's something we know we will face, but if we respond to rejection in the right way, it will completely change the course of our lives!
Stressaholic! Put an end to the stress by entering into His rest! Especially this time of year it's easy to get overwhelmed and not keep our eyes the things that are important. Remember it is better to have less of what doesn't matter and more of what does! Look in God's word and see how He desires us to live by design and to seek out the greatness He has planned for our lives!
Many times we feel as though we are praying wrong or God will not answer our prayers. This can make it hard for us to want to pray. As Pastor Jon says, "What is the point of prayer if we don't believe we are going to receive?" Prayer is not complicated, so when we pray we must expect God to answer! Our reluctance to obey God's instructions often hinder the blessings and promises He wants to give us. Prayer does not work if you aren't asking in accordance with God's word so before you pray be sure that God's word covers what you are believing for!
God has called us to be people of rest! When we live a life of rest, even in dark times and situations, it is a sign of our trust and faith that God is moving on our behalf and that He will take care of us. Don't forget, He is our God who never sleeps or slumbers, cast your cares upon Him and receive the gift of His sweet rest!
God is our healer, our protector, our provider! He is not just enough, he is too much. As the El Shaddai God, he is the all sufficient one, more than enough. In Psalm 91:14-16 we are reminded that God will rescue us, protect us, always answer us, abide with us in troubled times, honor us, satisfy us with long life, and give us the gift of salvation. These are all promises of God, walk in them and proclaim them over your life!
Depression is a prison where you are both the suffering prisoner and the cruel jailer. It’s like being trapped in a really bad thunderstorm. You don’t know when it’s going to hit, you never know how long it’s going to last, and when it finally passes, you’re left to survey the damages and pick up the pieces. Pastor Jon spent the greater part of 10 years in the sludge of depression, and he understands the darkness that it brings. This is his story of how he went from dejection to resurrection.
