Greetings everyone this is the Expression podcast and I am your host Lynette Freeman but on here I go by Nettie Nette. Music is my passion along with other art forms and expressions such as poetry and creating stories. I take music and look at the meanings of different songs and try to understand more about them and how they may connect with people. I believe that music impacts all who listen to it in numerous ways. I am a poet, and in my everyday life looking at multiple ways to view and think about something is what I consider myself good at. I am about finding out more about myself and others within the music that has been shared over time and how it relates to any and everything I can think of. I think that looking through music is one of the most influential aspects of life and can help people understand others. We’ll have a dialogue that pushes for the mind to open up, and people to experience a non-traditional way of viewing music and its meaning.
