HOMERADIO
Homeradio is a contemporary dj-duo of Latvian vinyl record players and selectors Oleg Bombey and Uncle Rodion .
They selflessly explore the tricky mixtures of universal electronic music with roots oriented, ethnic and jazzy notes and keep doing it more than a decade already. A short legend says that Homeradio started once in 2007, when they spinned and mixed records for a pirate live radio show. Those guys had shown their full activity during Space Garage and Dirty Deal Cafe golden years, playing adventurous dj sets, mixing dub,new wave and disco with minimal, techno music. Making and hosting numerous Rasols podcasts at Radio Naba 95.8 FM afterwards. Now you can hear both back2back or one by one playing dj sets in Riga and above at various spots alike Autentika, One One, Piens, KKC, D27, Coco Loco, Vinilbars, along with various mystic and private homeparties and summertime outdoors. Actively participating in various collaborations with local dj's, vj's , musicians and perfomers. Taking part in countless art projects and audio visual experiments.
While the pines transform to palms under the 30 degrees in the evening, cross emotions are overcome, materializing to wax and trying to speak together. The result is a freshly grilled homecast. Partially weird and sometimes provocative, researching the whole music horizons and digging deep inside our souls. Routed through voltage filters and lfos. Vinyl only and some pieces are from very distant corners
