Advice for single men: a woman’s perspective I am in my mid-30s. Divorced and have been on the dating scene for the last 5 years. Now I am not claiming all women are perfect or that we don’t have our own shit to work on. But this post is strictly advice for the men. Especially 30+ singles. We’ve got our shit together, our careers established, homes secure, we’re doing the work on ourselves, and know what we’re looking for in a partner. I’ve seen some repeated behaviors that can be so off putting (but so easily avoidable!) and I’d just like to help some fellas out. Take the lead. If you’re going on a first date, make the effort and the initiative to plan something. The “up to you” “it’s whatever” “whatever you wanna do” isn’t going to make a girl feel wanted or like she’s worth the effort. A little thought and assertiveness goes such a long way. Please for the love of God, just pay for the first date. If your funds are limited, choose something easy. A coffee, a walk in the park, dessert. If your date is unimpressed by that, then take it as a sign that a more high maintenance girl is simply not the gal for you. Take interest in your date. Ask questions. Stay engaged. It goes both ways but nothing is more off putting than a man who either talks about himself the whole time or does not make the effort to show he wants to know you at a deeper level. Ask and listen. I’m not going to give a lecture on chivalry here but a couple of small things make such a big difference. Get out of your car to greet her, offer her food first if you’re sharing, walk her to her Uber or door when she’s leaving — it’s such small things that are minimal effort for you but show her you’re considerate and attentive. If you’ve reached a stage where she is coming over for the first time, please clean up. I personally take it as a sign that not only are you not clean but you don’t even care to appear clean for my first time at your house. This especially goes for your bathroom. Clean your toilet and wipe down your sinks. I do not want to see bowl stains and grime. I continue to see this even with men in their 40s and I don’t understand how anyone thinks that’s acceptable. If you’re about to hook up, make the effort to ensure you’re clean and fresh. I get that we might get a little musty sometimes even if we’re generally clean people but take the time or excuse yourself and check. Are the pits good? Are you getting some real action? Wash your dick and really get in there. Don’t forget behind your balls. I’ve experienced the most put together men end up with a musty set of balls that I won’t go near. If you take the risk of me taking a hit on that shit then what else don’t you care about. If you’re expecting a hookup or an overnight guest, please have clean sheets and a fresh towel. It’s so basic but makes you come off like a real grown up. I recently went on a couple dates with a 50 year old man. Lovely guy. I was excited to spend the night. He had only one used and smelly bath towel that clearly had not been washed in ages. That was enough for me to lose attraction and not look back. It’s inexcusable and representative of more (hygiene, cheapness, consideration that I am staying over, a desire to make me feel welcome and comfortable). There’s plenty more but these are a couple of things I’ve seen repeatedly among men 35-50 that should have ended at college graduation. As means of a strategy of working things out, or is it better to just be finished? Having children together is a reason/example of trying to work things out.

Hello, Rich. Normally, I’m not the type of person who would reach out with a question like this, but I need some clarity. I’m a big fan of your channel, and what I like about the way you present your information is you do so in a completely objective, matter-of-fact manner without any biases or emotion. However, I’ve been dating a woman for the past 3 months, and it seems like she’s the perfect fit for me. This is some thing that not only has never happened to me before, but I never expected it would happen at all. I’m 36, she’s 31, and both of us know we never want to have any children and we’re on the same page with regards to pretty much every aspect of life, including hobbies, political views, ambitions, personal tastes, etc. This feels like the she’s the right person at the right time. Like most people, I’ve had crushes, felt infatuation, and I’ve experienced sexual urges, but this is something completely different. Whenever we spend time together, it’s always great conversation, great sex, and an overall comfort level I’ve never felt. My question is what would you recommend as far as a long-term situation that does not involve marriage? I truly believe this woman is special and I don’t want to lose her. However, I have read your book, and I’m extremely red pill aware, especially as it pertains to the potential pitfalls awaiting a man if he chooses to get married. I know it’s my fault, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I have kissed a few but I’ve never been in a relationship and am celibate. Recently rejected by an attractive woman I liked after two dates because “no chemistry” even though I thought we were compatible. Women I’ve struck up conversation with and taken out on dates (coffee, nice restaurants, bookstores, beaches etc), have told me I’m not shy and I like talking to you, I make them laugh or it seems ok but always end up rejected. The women I’ve liked have come in all body types, taller and shorter than me (though prefer taller), different passions, my age to a decade older, and varying life plans, though ideally I would want a goal-oriented woman. I don’t want kids. I’m 5’6 and thinly built. I don’t lift weights but I do cardio every week. I feel frustrated. I want direction from someone who is successful so I turned to you to gain insight from a red pill perspective. Perhaps people in the comments can share as well. The origin of bitterness is anger/hurt.
Let anger/hurt fester long enough and it matures into bitterness
It can be the catalyst to vengeful acts, prevent you from being present (power of now), and it also facilitates a victim mindset.
You can't be bitter without having a victim mindset.
The remedy to bitterness is forgiveness.
The longer you hold onto your anger, the more you’ll sink into the destructive quagmire of hatred and resentment. Anger will always “mature” into bitterness.
Thoughts to consider: Did the person who hurt you consciously intend to treat you maliciously? Did they really have a personal vendetta against you? If it was, is it retaliatory?
Your offender was most likely solipsistic, and more concerned with their own agenda than hurting you.
The solution is to look at the events in a new light.

I am a 32-year-old woman, I read your book, and I appreciate everything you are doing to help men all over the world. I'd also like to better understand how you view women.
It feels to me like you view them (us) as perpetually immature beings compared to men. You call women solipsistic and define solipsism as "can't see past her own nose." You say that the company of women without sex is not interesting to you because you have so little in common. You think you'd get better company from a dog. You think women don't care about a man's struggles and don't have the capacity for true loyalty.
If all that is right, what's another word to describe this? This lack of character, integrity, empathy, capacity for personal autonomy or growth? I don't think you see women as psychopaths. So, I think "perpetually immature" might be a good term, with the female version of a (sort of) "maturation" as submission to a man.
And what about men? You and Rollo have this video about these four dorky guys in a poly relationship, and you say that you can turn them into men in no time. But you don't think women can take ownership of their lives, other than submitting to men? Or only take ownership in as far as learning to service men better, but what about building character?
Ultimately, I'm asking you whether you think women are capable of pursuing and achieving integrity over the course of their lives, the way men can? And if you don't think they can, what sense of meaning could they get from their lives? What sense of meaning would I get from mine, if everything I think you believe about women were true about me? And what would that even look like or feel like? I don't tend toward a victim mindset, unless perhaps I was in really tragic conditions. So, either I have a moral need to pursue integrity, which I do, or I am very immature, which I no longer am, or I am a psychopath, which I never was. Yes, I am just talking about me right now, but can't the world be full of women who feel and think and behave the same way?
Do you understand the question I am asking you? I think you see men as having endless potential, moral and otherwise, but women as these sorts of caricatures of real people. They may claim to be moral, but with a shallow self-righteousness that's based on momentary emotions. That are just mindlessly living out their evolutionary programming, like talking, walking, bigger-breasted chimpanzees. Is that how you view them (us)?

5 main type of enviers 1. the leveler - they tear down anyone that has achieved something great, and try to bring them down to their mediocre level - they never see excellence in others unless they are dead. 2. The self entitled slacker - they feel like the world owes them attention/praise even though they lack the discipline to do the hard work 3. The status friend - they always measure people via social status - they envy those of a higher status & envy those who enjoy certain privileges' 4. The attacher - They don't have a calling in life so they attach themselves to people with a sense of purpose - they envy & ultimately attack the person they have attached to 5. The insecure master - they are an insecure person who holds a high position in society - but secretly doubts their worth therefore they envy more talented subordinates

My guest tonight was a male stripper that worked bachelorette parties for many years. He will share details of the following lessons learned.

6 Her friends. They can be your biggest obstacle or they can gift wrap her and serve her to you on a silver platter. They also can be your company the next weekend if they compete enough
7 The arrogance and entitlement these women have. And what lengths they will go to show off to their friends and what reactions they have when they realize that they are no longer dealing with sex driven beta males. And the tables are turned. Existential Despair; the ultimate killer. Men react to the destructive aspect of jealousy with “existential despair.” They adopt the belief that any idea of being bonded to a woman and maintaining that bond long term is impossible.

Solutions: a man must get emotional control over his primal jealousy, which will be completely overstimulated. He must have patience and be able to break down everything logically and methodically; and assess potential mates for a retained ability to pair bond. “Red” flags and “green” flags and data points are valuable here, as well as observing her behavior over time.

Top female narcissist behaviors (these do NOT establish Narcissistic Personality Disorder, but they are narcissistic clues to have on your radar). In no special order: 1) Overly competitive / jealous. “Look what my friend Rita got for Valentine’s Day from her husband. WHAT DID YOU GET ME?”. 2) Overly concerned with her appearance. – cosmetic surgery, cosmetic dental work, lots of makeup, hair extensions, etc. 3) Materialistic – love spending $. Clothes, cars, handbags, jewelry, Love to flaunt and talk about what they have (even if it is paid on credit). 4) Thinks others are jealous of her. This feeds her ego. 5) She is overly sensitive to criticism. Insanely defensive. 6) She has a false sense of superiority. It is laughable to you when you see this, but the narcissist has zero sense of self awareness and really believes what she is saying. (Example: a woman in her 50’s or even 60’s really thinks she is still competing with a 30 year old on the SMV scale). 7) She is a drama queen. Bores quickly. Even insignificant events get blown out of proportion. 8) Triangulation – Loves to create problems then she pits people against each other. Even between their own children. 9) She has a shameless disregard for boundries, but demands you are in strict compliance with her wishes. 10) She gaslights you. “I never said that”.... you may be doubting your own reality. You feel like want to record your conversations with her to play for her later when she denies what she said. 11) Tries to make you feel like you are never enough. Belittles you during devaluation, discard stage. 12) She has a constant need for validation from you and everyone else around. 13) Long series of broken relationships. Serial dater. High body count. 14) She cannot stand not being in control of you. This can trigger narcissist rage when you stand firm. 15) She plays the victim and wants you to sympathize with her. 16) Many other red flags to watch out for......
Most men start off in a strong frame, early in relationships, then through a process of betatization by 1,000 concessions, he becomes unattractive to his girlfriend or wife.
Maintaining frame is paramount to a strong LTR, and most men get it wrong
Some areas I'll cover include, but aren't limited to:
- Inviting a problem woman into your life
- Becoming 'exclusive' fast
- Not spinning plates, or bringing up 'where do we stand' before she does
- Saying 'yes' too often, and not saying 'no' enough

Our talking points include, but aren't limited to...
- A lot of guys who are in this part of the web are looking for answers, and looking to change their lives.
- A lot of these guys are struggling with anxiety, depression, and other self-sabotaging behaviors.
- There's a lot of good material out there designed to get guys taking action: "Do The Work", how to overcome approach anxiety, etc.
- Those mechanisms will generally work well for most guys who have previously had success, or who already have embraced being uncomfortable.
- Other men struggle with higher levels of anxiety, have failed more often in the past. They're carrying a lot more baggage.
- For men like that, "get over it" isn't effective advice. Most behavior or habit based methods require willpower for a time that they simply don't have due to a long history of things that have failed.
- In other cases, there's a pattern of self sabotage - think of starting stuff and walking away, or deliberately choosing targets you can't hit ("I only go after 9s and 10s even though I'm a 3")
- In both instances there's an unconscious pattern at work designed to keep them from harm in some manner - even if it's keeping them in a shitty place or keeping them from what they want consciously
- In men that suffer from those issues, the unconscious mind is less open to change because it has a much more evidence of possible harm, and weights it much more highly
- So unless they have constant support it's hard to make change. This could be in person coaching and in field support, therapy, etc. Online communities only help so much.
- Hypnosis on the other hand works directly on that unconscious level, and bypass the critical factor. The critical factor is that filter between the conscious and unconscious mind that determines what the unconscious will accept as true.
- Because of this, we can rapidly figure out where that anxiety or self sabotage originates, and what it's trying to do to help that person
- Once that happens, we can create new solutions to those old problems that get them better results.
- In addition, it's common to release a lot of built up trauma, anger, etc that's being carried around. That creates a lot more space and energy, so doing things becomes a LOT easier.
Topic suggestion from "Sebastian" who said: Women that try to suck you back into their life once you’ve left them and why it’s never a good idea. They will make all kinds of claims, use the most convincing forms of manipulation once they see you doing better/not giving them your attention, then when you do take them back, it’s the same as before. And men wonder why they keep having the same problems.
