YAAP is an podcast dedicated to professionalism, self help and Black Excellence. At the heart of YAAP Im seeking to create an atmosphere that brings together young African American professionals. I know there is no shortage of black social groups for professionals to connect on however, I know that YAAP is uniquely created and passionate enough to be a place where I can reach out to high school, college and first year professionals. So welcome young people to YAAP and I hope you enjoy.
Corazon Eaton is currently the program manger of the Comprehensive Children’s Injury Center at Cincinnati Children’s. She oversees population health programs, a clinical program and a national car seat education program. She leads strategic planning and quality improvement efforts along with department operations.
Corazon was born in Busia, Kenya and raised in Manhattan Kansas. She attended Kansas state University where she studied Life Science. It wasn’t until her senior year that her passion for public health took off as a result of being invited to participate in a public health residency program that introduced her to the field and provided her field experience. For her next career move Corazon will be working at the university of Cincinnati as an Program Director tackling issues related to social determinants of health. Corazon is married to her best friend and in her spare time she teaches professionals about financial literacy and manages her investment property.
