The first picture is showing the event when one of the soldiers stepped on a land mine and had half of his leg blown off and had to be taken to a safer location by chopper
The second picture is depicting the main scene from the chapter where the man was driving his dad’s truck around town for hours and hours on 4th of July night. This chapter is probably my favorite one.
The 3rd picture is explaining how rainy the war was in Vietnam. In this chapter it is always talking about how muddy and wet Vietnam is during the monsoon season.
The 4th picture is just the highlight of the chapter where “Rat” send a letter to a “Cooze” and never gets a reply which is why the other guys call girls coozes.
this picture is a picture of the scene that happened in the first chapter of the tunnel scene. I chose this scene because it was one that stuck out to me and one of the only ones that I remember. I made the image of soldiers standing around the tunnel while one goes it to check it out and clear it. I also chose this image because it shows one of the terrible and dangerous things that they had to do. While they do these things they are scared to death while doing these things but use humor to get through the terrible things and this scene showed this because while at the tunnel they were joking around and telling jokes to lighten the mood while the soldier in the tunnel has a high chance of dying.
