Jesus redefines greatness by kneeling to wash His disciples' feet. In a world that celebrates status and recognition, Jesus shows that true leadership is rooted in humility and service. Those who follow Him are called to do the same.
What we value most shapes how we live. In John 12, Mary pours out one of her most valuable possessions in an act of extravagant worship while Judas questions the cost. This powerful contrast challenges us to consider what truly has our hearts and whether Jesus is receiving our best.
Jesus doesn’t merely teach truth - He is truth. In a world shaped by confusion, identity struggles, and competing voices, Jesus confronts the lies that keep us in bondage and offers the freedom only truth can bring. The question becomes: whose voice are you trusting?
Every voice leading your life is shaping your future. Jesus declares Himself the Good Shepherd who knows us personally, lays down His life for us sacrificially, and calls us to follow Him fully. In a noisy world full of competing voices, Jesus is the Shepherd we can trust.
Every person carries some form of brokenness. In John 9, Jesus heals a man born blind and reveals His power to bring healing, hope, and transformation. Whether He changes our circumstances or strengthens us through them, Jesus still sees us, knows us, and is able to rewrite our story.
In a culture quick to expose, shame, and cancel people, Jesus responds differently. When a woman caught in adultery is dragged before Him, Jesus offers both grace and truth. He refuses to condemn her, but He also calls her to transformation. Real grace doesn’t ignore sin - it restores people and leads them toward freedom.
Jesus doesn’t merely teach truth - He is truth. In a world shaped by confusion, identity struggles, and competing voices, Jesus confronts the lies that keep us in bondage and offers the freedom only truth can bring. The question becomes: whose voice are you trusting?
Who is Jesus really? A miracle worker? A teacher? A prophet? A good man? In John 7, people are divided over Jesus. Some are amazed by Him while others are offended by Him. Yet Jesus continues revealing who He truly is: the Messiah who satisfies our deepest thirst. The question isn’t simply who culture says He is -the question is who He is to you.
Everyone is hungry for something—acceptance, purpose, peace, hope, love, meaning. The problem is we often try to satisfy eternal hunger with temporary things.
In John 6, Jesus declares that He is the Bread of Life, the only One who can truly satisfy the soul. This week, we’ll discover what it means to stop chasing temporary fulfillment and find lasting satisfaction in Jesus.
Trusting God isn’t just something we say—it’s something we demonstrate through faith. When the disciples faced storms, uncertainty, and impossible circumstances, Jesus invited them to trust His direction, protection, and invitation. This week, we’ll discover what it means to step out of the “boat” of comfort, control, and security and follow Jesus by faith—even when we don’t know the outcome. In God We Trust Faith
We all trust something. For many people, trust is tied to money, control, or security. But in John 6, Jesus takes a small lunch from a boy and feeds thousands-showing us that what we have is already in God’s hands.
Life will hit hard-pressure, stress, and spiritual attacks will come. The question is: will you stand or fall? In this message from 1 Peter, we learn how to stand firm through humility, trust, and awareness. You don’t stand strong by accident-you stand firm on purpose. Choose your hard.
Playing it safe is easy-but living with regret is hard. In this message from 1 Peter, we’re challenged to choose boldness over timidity. Bold in worship, bold in truth, bold in faith-even when it costs something. You can shrink back or stand up. Choose your hard.
Marriage is hard-but so is disconnection, conflict, and brokenness. In this message from 1 Peter, we’re challenged to choose the hard of love, honor, and sacrifice. Healthy marriages don’t happen by accident-they’re built through intentional choices. Choose the hard that strengthens your marriage.
Honor is hard-especially when people are difficult, opinions clash, or respect feels undeserved. But dishonor comes with consequences too. In this message from 1 Peter, we’re called to choose the hard of humility, submission, and doing good. Honor isn’t weakness-it’s strength. Choose your hard.
You’re not random—you’re chosen. You’re not here by accident—you’re called. And your life isn’t meant to drift—you’re committed. In this message from 1 Peter, we discover our identity and purpose in Christ. The answers are clear—but living them out is hard. Choose the hard that leads to purpose.
Being set apart in a culture that blends in is hard—but so are the consequences of compromise. In this message from 1 Peter, we’re challenged to choose the hard of holiness over the hard of sin. Holiness isn’t accidental—it’s intentional. Choose to live different, prepared, and self-controlled. Choose your hard.
Life isn’t about avoiding hard—it’s about choosing which hard leads to life. In this message from 1 Peter, we discover that trials aren’t pointless—they reveal, refine, and ultimately lead to glory. You can choose the hard of perseverance or the hard of giving up. One builds you. One breaks you. Choose your hard.
The cross makes things better, and the resurrection makes things brighter. Through the cross, Jesus brings forgiveness, freedom, and access to God. Through the empty tomb, He brings life and eternal hope. Easter reminds us that light has overcome darkness—and invites us to believe.
Jesus ends the Sermon on the Mount with a powerful question: what are you building your life on? Storms are inevitable, but foundations determine outcomes. Wisdom isn’t hearing Jesus’ words—it’s living them. When we build on the rock, our lives can stand strong and shine brighter.
Jesus presents a sobering choice: the wide road or the narrow road. One is easy and popular but empty. The other is costly but leads to life. Real faith is revealed not by words but by fruit. To live better and brighter, we must choose the narrow path and be among the few who truly follow Jesus.
Jesus calls us away from judgment and into discernment. A critical spirit divides, but a discerning heart brings clarity and restoration. When we examine ourselves first, draw close to people, and respond with grace and truth, we reflect the heart of Jesus and make the world better and brighter.
Better + Brighter: week 10: Be TrustingJesus invites us to trade anxiety for trust. Worry shrinks our world, but faith expands it. When we remember who God is, how deeply He knows us, and how faithfully He provides, we can release control and live with peace. A better and brighter life begins when we choose trust over worry.
Jesus teaches that forgiveness is essential to freedom. Unforgiveness weighs us down, but releasing offense reflects the gospel we’ve received. When we forgive as Christ forgave us, we live lighter, freer, and brighter in a broken world.
Jesus teaches us to pray with intention, humility, and persistence. Prayer isn’t performance — it’s connection. When we create space, follow His pattern, and trust God’s goodness, prayer transforms us and keeps us grounded in a broken world.
Jesus calls us to live by grace, not revenge. Grace rewrites the rules, reacts differently, and responds with unconditional love — even toward enemies. When we choose grace over retaliation, we reflect Jesus and shine brightest in a hostile world.
Jesus calls His followers to live differently in a culture that has normalized brokenness in relationships. Faithfulness, purity, and commitment reflect God’s better design. When we choose holiness and run to grace when we fall, we make “different” the new normal.
Jesus teaches that anger, left unchecked, destroys relationships and darkens lives. Being tempered means assessing our anger, adjusting our attitudes, and pursuing reconciliation quickly. When we respond with humility and grace instead of rage, we reflect Jesus and bring light into conflict.
Jesus teaches that blessing doesn’t come from comfort or success, but from brokenness, hunger for God, and bold faith. When we depend on Him, extend mercy, pursue righteousness, and choose peace, we experience true blessing — and become a blessing to the world around us.
Jesus calls His followers to be salt and light — making life better and brighter wherever they go. Salt preserves and adds flavor; light reveals and guides. When our lives reflect Jesus through grace-filled actions and good deeds, people don’t just notice us — they’re drawn toward God.
Week 4 celebrates the moment God arrived through the birth of Jesus. Through Mary and Joseph, we see that God’s presence brings peace, His calling brings possibility, and His provision brings hope. The arrival of Jesus is the arrival of God’s nearness in every part of our lives.
Week 3 shows that God is still working in the dark, still speaking in the silence, and still moving in the waiting. The 400 “silent years” remind us that even when we can’t see or hear God, He is preparing the way. We dwell by leaning into His light, His Word, and His perfect timing.
Week 2 of DWELL explores how God chose to be near His people through the tent in the wilderness and the temple in the Promised Land. Now, through the Holy Spirit, we are His dwelling place. Whether life feels chaotic or steady, God is present and pursuing us. Our role? Create space to meet with Him daily.
We were created to dwell with God, just as Adam and Eve once did in the garden. Sin fractured that closeness, but God never stopped pursuing us. This week invites us to stop hiding, slow down, and seek Him again. Christmas begins with the God who formed us and still longs to walk with us in every season.
Peace isn’t a one-time feeling; it’s a pattern you practice. Philippians 4:9-13 reminds us to live out what we’ve learned — to pray first, think truth, and plug into the real power source: Christ. This week, we’re learning to stay charged with His strength even when life drains us.
Our minds can spiral fast — but Philippians 4:8 gives us a new route. When we fix our thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, God rewires our brains toward peace. This week we’re learning to replace strongholds of fear with strongholds of faith.
We all crave peace, but it often feels impossible in a world that never powers down. Philippians 4:7 reminds us that real peace isn’t found in a place — it’s found in a Person. This week we learn that Jesus offers peace that surpasses understanding — a peace that guards our hearts and minds in Him.
When anxiety hits, our instinct is to reach for control—or our phone. But Paul offers a better response: pray first. Prayer isn’t our last resort; it’s our first line of defense. When we speak our worries out loud to God, we shift from panic to peace.
Spiritual apathy is one of the most dangerous idols—it lulls us to sleep while a real war rages on for souls. Daniel’s visions remind us the enemy is real, the battle is fierce, and the King is coming. Don’t settle for casual Christianity. Wake up, fight back with prayer and God’s Word, and live ready for Jesus’ return. Our final week in our series Attack On Idols we battle the idol of Spiritual Apathy.
We all battle fear—fear of people, problems, and pain. Like Daniel in the lions’ den, fear can become an idol if it masters us. But the answer isn’t avoiding fear, it’s kneeling before the Lion of Judah. Week 6 of our series Attack On Idols, we see that when we put faith in Him, fear loses its grip. Jesus is enough, and His presence is greater than any fear we face.
We live in a culture of “too much”—too much wine, wealth, pleasure, and distraction. But like King Belshazzar in Daniel 5, excess only leaves us empty. God calls us to weigh what matters and trade the idol of excess for the essential: Jesus. In Him, we find the only life that truly satisfies. Week 5 of our series Attack On Idols we dive into this concept and learn how to combat the idol of excess.
Week 4 of Attack on Idols we are in Daniel 4, where we look at how Nebuchadnezzar’s pride led to his fall, but his humility led to restoration. Pride resists correction, hoards credit, and forgets God’s role in success. God will humble what we refuse to surrender. Attack pride by practicing humility — receive feedback, share credit with others, and give all glory to God (Philippians 2:3–4).
In "History 101," we delve into how history shapes our lives and faith. We have to be aware of the past so that we are prepared in the present.
This sermon offers practical steps: stand strong by relying on God's strength, recognize warning signs to avoid pitfalls, and seek God's guidance to overcome temptation. These insights help navigate life's challenges with wisdom and support.
Whether you're curious about faith or seeking deeper understanding, this message invites you to explore Christianity's rich history and its relevance today. Join us as we learn from the past, live intentionally in the present, and look forward to a hopeful future.
