Fellowship Bible Church
Fellowship Bible Church approaches Global Missions a little differently than the norm among American churches, but not through any wisdom of our own. God has given us the connections, the resources, and the vision to partner directly with pastors and church leaders in local churches around the world. So much more than the typical "map and budget" missions program, we invest, equip, and help establish already existing national churches so they can reach their communities for Christ.
In this podcast, you'll hear stories of what God is doing all over the world as Scott and Jim, the Global Missions pastors of Fellowship, discuss recent trips, testimonies of life-change, and updates on how we get to be involved in the world.

This episode is the second part of a two part focus from a trip that we just made to South Asia in October. In this episode, Gopal shares more detail about some of the amazing things that God is doing in and through his ministry. Also, Carl Dennis from FBC Shenandoah shares his perspective and impressions from his first trip to visit an FBC Global Missions ministry location.
This episode is the first part of a two part focus on a ministry in a country in South Asia where FBC has been partnering now for more than 20 years. In this episode, our key partner, Gopal, shares how he came to Christ and first came into contact with Fellowship Bible Church.
When Joel and Rachel first left for Southeast Asia two years ago, Covid really hindered their ability to gather with the church and build relationships. Since that time, God has opened the doors to assemble and they have been able to become active members and already the church has become such a huge blessing to them. Also in this episode, they share how they have continued to progress in the language and that they are within months of completing their formal language study and being turned loose to begin teaching in the church.
In this episode Curtis and Michelle share regarding some of the amazing things that God is doing in Garfield Park, inner city Chicago, through the inspiring ministry of those who make up Reborn Community Church. The incarnational manifestation of the Love of God that is being revealed through Reborn is praise worthy as God continues to use it to open doors for amazing ministry opportunity in an extremely hard and dangerous community. Curtis will be with us next month to also share in person how God continues to work, as well as how we as a church and individuals can become even more involved and a greater help in this much needed work.

Here in part two, Elijah goes on to share how God worked in his life, led him to seminary and what God has been laying on his heart in terms of future full time ministry.

“Over the past few years, one of our own “homegrown” church members, Martha Beitzel, has been preparing to give her life as a full time missionary, serving with Ethnos 360 in the country of the Philippines. In this episode, Martha shares how God has been leading her, what’s been involved in her preparation, and what needs to take place in the next year in order to get to the field”.
In this last year, Simon Yako has moved to a new position within the EMS missionary organization in Nigeria. Simon has moved to a role of pastor to the missionaries. Simon tells us of some of the joys in this new role, but also some of the heartaches as churches, Christians, and missionaries are often persecuted and attacked by muslim extremists. Simon's heart rings loud and clear. On the one hand, weeping with those who weep, but on the other hand, rejoicing in the greatness and faithfulness of God as these times of hardship, trial, and difficulty become opportunities to see Him at work all the more.
This episode contains update part 2 from our May 2022 trip to Cuenca. Part 1 was from the perspective of the Cuenca church leaders. Part 2 is from the perspective of those who went on the trip. From FBC, we had Jose Rodriguez, Isaiah McManigle, Jim Pool, and Scott McManigle. We also had the privilege of bringing along with us two Native American brothers in order to give them more exposure to who we are and how we work. Listen as they share how the trip impacted them.
In this episode, FBC Global Mission's Pastor, Jim Pool, interviews the Cuenca church leadership. The leaders are very thankful and very encouraged by God's grace and faithfulness as He continues to show Himself strong on their behalf.
Joel and Rachel are just about to complete their first year in Southeast Asia. They share how God has been answering the prayers of their children, what their language learning has been like, and a door of opportunity for them to draw alongside the Northern Pwo Karen church (where Joel grew up) and help them to continue to grow in their ability to function as a body, according to God's call and design.
In this update from Pakistan, Pastors Peter and Daniel share both sides of the coin of ministering in Pakistan. First, they share about an encouraging opportunity that God has opened for them to help establish some new mountain churches. God has led them to new group of people who are hungry for the truth. Secondly, they share in regards to the reality of the persecution and the toll that it is taking on the perspective of many of their Christian families. If there was ever a time when the future of Christianity in Pakistan is being jeopardized by an impure, distorted gospel message, it is now! The work that Peter and Daniel are doing to help establish Pastors and their churches in a faith that is founded upon the pure message of grace for every aspect of our salvation is of utmost importance. Please hold them up before the throne of grace!
In 2014, when FBC first began to work with a group of Chichewa Pastors and church leaders in Malawi, all of them were very confused in the faith and did not clearly understand the gospel. In this episode, Pastors James, Stewart, and John share about the impact that the pure message of grace has had in their lives, in their churches, and how it's opening many other doors for ministering among other churches. They are extremely thankful for the way that God has used FBC to equip them with the truth, as well as with the tools that help them equip others in the truth.
Back in the beginning of December, Cedric and Pauline's housing community was hit with extremely heavy rains that resulted in a very devastating flood. Even though the flood has turned their lives upside down for the last month, as God promises in Romans 8:28, He has used it for good in their lives. Listen as Cedric and Pauline testify of their experience of the grace and goodness of God while in the midst of very trying circumstances.
In this episode, FBC Global Mission's Pastor, Jim Pool, interviews Simon Ndungu and William Khisa who just held a 3 day "Knowing God" conference for a number of other pastors that Simon is in association with outside of Nairobi. Putting on a pastor's conference like this has been a desire of Simon's heart for the past few years. Listen as these men glorify God for the new doors that He seems to be opening for them with these other pastors.
6 years ago, God led Christian Little to leave his home in Oklahoma to move to a Lakota Sioux reservation in Lower Brule South Dakota. Listen as Chris shares with us some of the difficulties he faces in seeking to work with people in such a spiritually dark and depressed society.

In this episode you will hear from two pastors who not only have experienced the impact of the lessons in their own lives, but also in the lives of people they are ministering to in South Africa and India.
A couple weeks ago, Pastor John Morrison spoke on the importance of growing in the Knowledge of God. In His message, John encouraged us to seek to grow in the knowledge of God doing a number of things, one of which was to pick up a copy of the Knowing God lessons that we have up in the Global Mission's stairwell. In these next couple of episodes, we thought it might be helpful to hear some testimonies from folks, both locally and globally, that have gone through the lessons and how they have benefitted from them.
In this episode, FBC Global Mission's Pastor, Jim Pool, Introduces us to two Native American Pastors that we were introduced to not too long ago. Jay Juan Pastors a Tohono O'odham church on their reservation just outside of Tucson and Christian Watchman is seeking to plant a church and begin a new work on the Pima reservation just south of Phoenix. Listen as these men share about some of the challenges that they face in their ministries.
During the week of July 17-24, a team of 28 people from FBC traveled out to Flagstaff Arizona to do some work projects on the campus of the Indian Bible College. In this episode, you will hear from the college President, Dr. Jason Koppen, as well as many of the team members as they share about the week, some of the things they learned, and how God used the time in their lives.

Nigeria has become a country in which many Christians have to live in constant fear of being persecuted, kidnapped, or even killed for their faith. Recently though, God has graciously divinely intervened and brought about the release of some ECWA Pastors and missionaries. Listen to this episode as Simon Yako glorifies God for the great things He has done.
Every Monday morning, Scott and Jim meet via zoom with many of the church leaders that we partner with around the world, to see how everyone is fairing with the covid lockdowns, to pray for one another, and to discuss various topics. The content of this episode is the recorded discussion that had with the leaders this past week in which we were discussing; our goal and purpose as leaders, how to reach it, and how to know if we ARE reaching it.

The FBC Global Missions Team has been sending COVID relief funds to help many of the churches that we have been partnering with around the world. In this episode, Scott and Jim focus specifically on India and Nepal as Hanson and Gopal share some really exciting stories and testimonies as to how God has used these gifts to open many new doors for ministry.

Simon shares amazing testimonies about how God has used the horrific persecution that their missionaries have experienced to actually deepen their love and dependence upon God. Secondly, Joshua shares regarding some of the amazing opportunities that he and Melissa have had to teach and disciple others because of the affects of the COVID 19 pandemic.
In this episode, FBC Global Mission's Pastors, Scott and Jim interview Hanson and Jocelyn Manova who are pastoring a church in the State of Tamil Nadu in India. This church has been pastored by Hanson's father for many many years. Due to Hanson's father failing health, God led Hosur Bible Church to send Hanson and Jocelyn to take over the pastoring of this church. This church has been in existence for 100 years and was being characterized by legalism, self righteousness, and division. As Hanson has been leading the church into a growing knowledge of Who God is and what He is really like, as well as His grace that has been manifested and bestowed upon us through the finished work of Christ, great transformation has begun to take place within the hearts of these people. Along with this testimony, Hanson and Jocelyn also share with us how God has been using them to help provide food and groceries for needy families in 6 different churches.
Even though Juan and Tirsa Delgado are under a strict lockdown in Ecuador, God remains faithful to continue to build and establish His church......AND provide creative ways to provide for Juan and Tirsa's financial needs.
FBC Missions pastors, Scott and Jim, Interview Simon and Joshua from Nigeria, a country where Christians are called to endure much persecution. A virus pandemic that is causing a lot of panic and fear all over the world, for these men, God is actually using it to provide some relief.
Practicing social distancing has its advantages. Because FBC Missions Pastors, Scott and Jim, are now using the zoom app to record their podcasts, they are able to also include those that we are working with from anywhere in the world. Our global mission’s pastors just returned from Togo and Benin where they met with over 200 Lokpa church leaders and their wives, as well as with approximately 30 Tem pastors and ministry leaders. We have worked with the Lokpa leaders now for over 15 years, but this was the first time for meeting with the Tem leaders, therefore the focus of the teaching was very different. Listen to Jim and Scott share the details in meeting with both groups, as well as share some of the responses and testimonies from those that attended.
