Parenting exceeds being a breadwinner, homemaker, or biological parent. This applies to both fathers and mothers. You see, children are emotional beings, and in as much as ensuring they don't lack materially is essential, they also need attention, support, connection, among many other things.

In this episode, IP shares with us practical ways in which he's building a strong bond with his son, while also working to provide for his family 💪

Every child is different in his or her own way - from personality to abilities. Genetics plays a vital role, but the experiences and situations a child is exposed to can determine what becomes of that peculiarity. Are you providing an enabling platform for their uniqueness to shine through, or you'd rather that they live the dream you've already/always envisioned? Are you setting a positive example in the way you live your life among other things?

In this episode, I have a truly delightful conversation with Brenda David,  an event host, and CEO of Celario Sauce, UK. You can connect with her on @celariosauce and @brenddaisy

It's been a week since peaceful protesters were brutally massacred at the Lekki toll gate. Events prior to and following that day still leaves me shocked.

I recorded this two days after the incidence, talking about how the tips I shared in episode 3 "Connect with yourself first" has helped me cope. I contemplated posting this but decided I want to put it out here.

Someday, in the not-so-distant future, I hope I can look back & say "The sacrifices, tears, pains, prayers of the Nigerian youth weren't in vain."

Hey parent, self-love or self-care isn't selfish. It's actually imperative for you as a nurturer.

A very good place to start is on the inside. What has formed your mindset over the years? How is that determining the course of your parenting journey? How exactly can you connect with your inner-self and by extension, with your child?

These are some of the questions answered on this episode.

Thanks for listening!

Our first guest on this pod, Mr Latinwo, has been a father for over two decades. In this interview, he talks about how the parenting journey entails investment of time, love, commitment, among other things; how, for him, fatherhood starts from conception and never for a day comes to an end.
