This first part is entirely made up of the Fan Fiction of Cassandra Claire and her Very Secret Diary series on the Lord of The Rings characters. It's the end of the year, and what a unique year it was. This episode was supposed to be about our favorite shows of the past year, yet we end up just chit chatting about such nonsense as:  Harry Potter, Van Halen, My Cousin Vinny, Theater, and more. We are so easily squirrelled, but you knew that already. It has been a great year for the podcast, but we are happy to see it go bye bye into a chapter of the history book you'll never get to in school.

The godfather's of American punk rock with their two minute - three cord songs take over an ailing music scene of the '70s. You may love them or you may hate them, but with songs like Blitzkrieg Bop, Rock 'n Roll High School, and I Wanna Be Sedated, they are staples of alternative radio. We travel back to the inception of The Ramones all the way through their 22 plus career in music. Our show ended up being a train wreck as well as quite fun...just like the Ramones. Gabba gabba hey! Let's talk about the master of horror, Stephen King. We are pretty sure he has close to a thousand books written...but who is counting?! Certainty not us because we threw out the number a thousand first. King has become the center of what horror and the fantastical world of imagination can produce. King is a pop culture icon. Most of his works have been turned into movies and most of his movies have been turned into late night, popcorn rentals to scare the wits out of your preteen step sister by tricking her into thinking you're watching Pitch Perfect 7. Back in the ancient times, phones used to be attached to the wall. The biggest accessories to buy for the wall attached phone was the cord extender and the answering machine. You should know what the answering machine does and the cord extender allowed you to have a longer reach with your phone that was attached to the wall. Now you weren't just tied to the kitchen, you could also roam into the dining room while on the phone. Also, the internet wasn't a thing so if you wanted to know movie times, the weather, your horoscope, etc you had to call from your house phone. We found some weird numbers to call and some cursed numbers to call from these dark caveman-like times. Featured Beer: Stone Brewing's Anni-Matter Double IPA If you would like to call the numbers yourself, find them on our website: podcast42show.wordpress.com

What is a creepypasta? Well we are glad you asked. Creepypastas are short horror stories and memes that have been written by the internet to be shared around the internet. They are often brief paranormal stories intended to scare you. They include gruesome tales of murder, suicide, and sometimes contain pop culture figures like Spongebob Squarepants or Sonic the Hedgehog. Some are really creepy and some are totally ridiculous. Today we find the best creepypastas, and by best, we mean worst and read them to each other. Featured Beer: Infinite Ale Works Into The Dark Roast
