Hello and welcome to WeeklyVal! This podcast will be about anything and everything! I really want this to be a place where I can record all of my thoughts, hopes, and hopefully with time have guests also engage in conversation. I’m excited to have a platform where different perspectives are not only accepted but encouraged. Welcome again to WeeklyVal!
This is a more emotionally dense podcast. Even listening back to it I felt like I could’ve phrased things better but in order to keep my genuine first thoughts about the coming election I decided to keep the original. Most people expect to party in college, go crazy and find themselves, so they were pretty surprised to hear that I found Christ lol. In this episode I talk about the Navigators at UCSD and my religious struggle between The Church of Latter Day Saints and Christianity. To be clear neither is better than the other, this is my own experience and story.
