I am excited to announce my book, "Spencer's Ghosts" is a worldwide release today, Oct 1, 2024. Afew of the retail stores are listed below in the links where you can pick it up.
This is my (A.L. Cooley's) first book. Spencer's Ghosts is based on a true story with a touch of fiction. Targeted for Young Adult Fiction, but really all ages older will enjoy it just as well. The story is told through the eyes of Lee Spencer (me) whose family moves into a haunted house. The haunted adventures take place in and outside of that house. Even as far as New York when Lee and a couple of his friends hop a freight train to take a short ride but end up a few states away where they come into contact with Boxcar Billy Baxter. Is Boxcar a ghost or of the living?

Cheryl Heath did the artwork for my documentary I released in 1998 titled, "Ghosts In The Valley." I used the same artwork for my podcast of the same name. Cheryl has also sent me numerous sketches for ideas for my book cover. Not once wouldCheryl accept any money from me for her work. Cheryl has also sent me numerous stories on the paranormal.
She was confronted by a ghostly figure that came up and out of a gully at a local cemetery. I traveled there and did a follow up on that story. I hope you enjoy the two stories Cheryl sent to me to share.
Sadly, Cheryl passed away a couple of weeks ago. She will be missed. My prayers go out to Cheryl Heath's family.

Amy Bizzarri is a Chicago-based writer who lives in a 122-year-old home built in 1900. If Amy isn't home baking, you'll find her traveling the world. Amy has come face to face with gorillas, helped build a school in Mali, and has traveled the complete route of Route 66 that begins out of Chicago. Amy is an author who has written many books and has been featured on TV and radio. Amy toured the rusty and decaying cells of Joliet Prison where the Blues Brothers Movie was filmed. Amy has written about the Cook County Hospital built in 1832 that housed over 100,000 patients each year. It was then made into two hotels.
Amy also has an Italian Connection with her love of wine making, Italian food, and Italian culture. Amy lived in Rome for 5 years. Amy worked as an editor/proofreader for the Italian Ministry of Health. She is a fluent Italian speaker. I love the story of how her great, great grandparents met. Amy's great, great grandfather was a firefighter and saved Amy's great great grandmother from a burning building. Amy also has a great love of Walt Disney. This led her to write, "111 Place In Walt Disney That You Must Not Miss." Amy has a full plate of knowledge and adventure. Amy is also a high school teacher with over 20 years of teaching. She has a Master of Arts in education with a focus on bilingual language.

Dave Hodrien is the Chairman and Investigator for BUFOG, (Birmingham UFO Group) from the U.K.

At seven years old, Stephanie Cowan, had the ability to see, hear, and feel spirit. Stephanie really didn't knowthe magnitude of her abilities until she was 21.

Jennie Collucci is a New Jersey based paranormal investigator and team historian with The ParaSight Experience. She is from Rochester New York and began investigating the paranormal while attending Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ) from which she graduated in 1990 with degrees in Chemistry and French Literature.
Before joining ParaSight, Jennie investigated both in The United States and Europe at such varied locations as the Sherlock Holmes Museum in London, The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables Florida and White Hill Mansion in Fieldsboro NJ. The ParaSight team has investigated numerous locations within New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
The team features investigators with varied backgrounds, such as law enforcement, science, education and psychology. Some of Jennie's preferred recent investigations have been Kreischer Mansion in Staten Island NY and The Ritz Theatre in Oaklyn NJ where ParaSight currently has a residency and hosts other teams.
Jennie and the ParaSight team is called to do private investigations. Parasight investigations uses a team approach they like to call "Science and Sensitivity". This method combines the work of sensitives and mediums with evidence-based science.

On August 16, 1942, A U.S. Navy Blimp also known as L-8 or The Ghost Blimp left port at 6:03 A.M. from Treasure Island, San Francisco. On board were the flight crew, Pilot Lieutenant Ernest Dewitt Cody, 27, and Co-Pilot Ensign Charles Adams, 35. This was Adam's first flight. Also on the Blimp were two depth charges, a .30 caliber machine gun, top secret documents, emergency rafts.
The crew were exploring an oil spot off the coast of San Francisco when that was the last contact with the pilots. Fishing vessels in the area spotted the Ghost Blimp approximately 30 feet above the ocean water before rising rapidly. The Ghost Blimp headed toward the San Fran beach where surfers tried to hold on to the tow lines. They witnessed that there was no one in the cabin. The crew were gone.
The Ghost Blimp rose again and crashed in the beach hill where one of the depth charges fell off. It scraped a few telephone poles and houses. The automatic valve opened and began releasing helium gas causing the blimp to sag in the middle and was deflating.
The Ghost Blimp crashed in the front yard at 419 Bellevue Ave. Daly City. Again everything was intact and the only thing missing were the crew, Ernest Dewitt Cody and Charles Adams.
Did the crew fall out of the blimp? Did the Japanese capture them? Did they go AWOL? Were there UFOs in the area?

Mike and his wife invited me to do a walk through of his haunted house. They live approximately 65 miles south of me. I got lost along the way. I had my GPS on but it kept going in and out on me. It took me through dirt backroads with no street signs. Eventually iI made it to Mike's house.
I believe Mike's house was built in the late 1700's. It was moved from it's original location to where it sits today by a team of horses. I personally believe the house was either originally haunted or they sat it on Indian Burial Grounds.
While in the house, there was a shadow person behind me. There was a shadow person behind Mike. I got extremely ill while I was in the house. A huge energy field inside the house. My cell phone screen cracked, split into 4 sections and upside down. While we were upstairs, you can actually hear a buzz from the energy on the recordings. We did the interview on Mike's front porch because I didn't feel safe inside the house. After I left, Mike contacted me and told me that he couldn't go back into his house for a couple of hours because the energy and heat inside the house was unbearable.

In 1994 a UFO was spotted by numerous people calling into the Liberty Township's 911 call center. Roy Ann Rudolph was the dispatcher on duty that evening taking most of these calls. Roy Ann was also taking response calls from all the law enforcement officers on duty through out the county. Numerous county patrol cars were responding and chasing these things from Ohio into Pennsylvania. Over ten different departments.
Five years later in 1999, this incident went national with Art Bell's Coast to Coast radio program. A co-worker of mine in 1994 working the midnight shift, came into work and announced that he just seen a UFO flying over route 193 in Liberty Township. The craft was traveling about 25 mph and then came to a complete stop between a 4 lane highway. Approximately 30 feet off the ground and 50 yards wide with beautiful lights on it. It sat there about a minute and then just zipped up and complete out of site in a second. We treated Bob, my co-worker, like he was crazy. The same response that Roy Ann treated the call ins.
I am honored that Roy Ann came on my show to talk about her experience that night. I through some tough questions at her that she answered honestly. The main question is still unanswered. WHAT WAS IT? WAS THERE A COVER UP?
A few of my concerns are:

The FAA couldn't see it where he was sitting 70 feet up in the air, yet officers near by can see it from the ground.
-
Friends of mine in law enforcement said they were told it was a weather balloon.
-
TV and Newspaper journalists and TV reporters were there and yet nothing, NOTHING, was put in the local newspapers or on the news.
-
Two of my friends who witnessed this still won't come on my show and talk about this 28 years later.

In 1965, a UFO crashed into the woods of a little town in Pennsylvania. That little town of Kecksburg, PA, is located a few miles from Pittsburgh. The Military and the Men In Black were there right away. But not before a few towns people beat them to it. The Men In Black, went door to door asking exactly what they saw.
According to eye witnesses, the military removed the space craft that resembled an acorn, out on a flatbed truck. Also a coffin shaped box was removed as well. Upon trying to retrieve some of this information through the Freedom of Information Act, NASA claims they lost the evidence that was sent the the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
My wife and I traveled to the town of Kecksburg in July for the Kecksburg UFO Festival. We met a lot of great people including a Paranormal team out of Buffalo New York. Also UFO Historian and researcher, Stan Gordon. I bought Stan's DVD, "Kecksburg-The Untold Story." Stan was gracious enough to autograph it for me.

Also a shout out to Brian Vike, Director of HBCC UFO Research. Brian interviewed who is to be believed to be the first person at the Kecksburg UFO crash site. The interview took place on October 22, 2005.
The Kecksburg UFO crash occurred on December 9, 1965. Brian gave me permission to replay the interview in its entirety.

On September 8th and October 15th of 2021, I traveled to the Erie Cemetery in Erie PA. There are over 50,000 bodies buried on over 75 acres. There are currently over 100 burials a year here. The Erie Cemetery was established in 1851.
There are headstones here dating back before 1850 which means these bodies were moved here from other graveyards. Everyone knows the most terrifying movie of all time, The Exorcist. The story today is about Roland Doe. The young man the exorcist is based off of.. It starts out in 1948 and ends in 1949. I personally would have loved to know more about Roland's aunt who passed away. Because all this started after her death in 48. Roland, who actually isn't his real name, would be 86 this year if still alive. In the movie the Exorcist, they changed the original story of it being a boy to a girl.
The second bonus story on this episode is about a young African American 9 year old girl from the southside of Youngstown Ohio. Jackie's story is very similar to Roland Doe's. This story was told to me by a good friend of mine, Gregory, from Youngstown. Jackie isn't the girl's real name. Also I changed the real name of Gregory as well to protect his privacy. Greg was one one of the Elders of the church in the room during the exorcism.

In July of 2018, four female coworkers, decide to rent a cottage in Northeastern PA. But their three day retreat gave them more than they expected. One of the coworkers, Debbie, was raped and emotionally drained. Miscarried and baby was not of human nature. Very strange to say the least.

Tom Warner was abducted by Aliens on September 1, 1969. More than 51 years ago and lived to tell about it. This wasn't the first time Tom had an encounter with the outer beings. The Berkshires UFO, Episode 5 on Unsolved Mysteries was the most watched mini series this past summer released on Netflix. I reached out to Thom and he was quick to get back to me for this interview. Thom shared his story and also the drama that occurred over the UFO Monument that was erected at the foot of the bridge where his family's incident took place on September 1, 1969. 51 years ago. Thom asked if 30th District Court Judge Kevin Titus could join us. Judge Titus joined in on the second part of the interview.
Governor Charles Baker - The Off-World Incident which engaged the Reed Family has been established. The incident was factually upheld. The Historic Off World event is now part of the MA Historical Society's Collection and Reeds recent induction into MA History.
Thom Reed took a polygraph test and past it with flying colors. 99.1%. Thom has to reason to lie about this. Thom was not paid for this interview, or from Netflix or Unsolved Mysteries. Thom has donated a lot of his own money, time, documents and tears into the park. Thom fought through a lot of obstacles to get this UFO Park off the ground.

The first story, The Haunted Firehouse was sent to me by Tammy Ross. The story is on Tammy's grandfather, William Franklin Harrison Reynolds or known by family and friends as simply Zeb. Zeb was a firefighter who lost his life while battling a fire in 1962. Zeb's spirit would continue to haunt the firehouse #8 in Kansas City years after his death.
The second story also come from a firefighter from Beckley West Virginia. This firefighter's story is also about his grandfather. His grandfather, Big John, lost his life while helping out a neighbor in a story titled The Haunted Well. Big John also went on to haunt the Beckley School and the town of Thurmond West Virginia.

From 1952 until the beginning of 1970, Project Blue Book was a Government program to conduct investigations into UFO activity. The project was headed by the United States Airforce and Professor Dr. Allen Hynek. From 1952 to 1969, 12,618 UFO sightings were investigated with over 136,000 documents to go through.

From 1967 to 1972, 5 years, my sister and I experienced our first encounter with a spirit/ghost in a house our family of 5 rented on Ohio Ave. Warren Ohio. Scratching, knocking, bounding, breathing in the walls. Hand grabbing my anckle in celler. Door opening with footsteps across the floor and back out of door but nobody there. A young girl, a ghost, standing in doorway of my sisters room. Only to find out from the owner of the house, that a young girl around 10 years old, hung herself in the attic in 1899. The house later burned down and man inside died.

Jimmy and Indian Johnny. A true story by Jimmy Smith. Jimmy Peterson, grandson of Jimmy Smith, sent me this story in 2019. I've been trying to figure where this story fits in the paranormal. Since I received this story, a lot of episodes I've done since then lead back to Native American Indian burial grounds, myths and the Great Spirit. So now is as good time as any. The story of Indian Johnny has been told around the family Thanksgiving table the past 50 years. And the tradition continues. Jimmy Smith in 1964 suffered from what today would be called PTSD. Jimmy battled alot of things running through his head. One was an Indian voice telling him to drive west. On Jimmy's journey was a stop at the Screaming Eagle gift shop in Rosebud South Dekota. Home of the Lakota indian reservation. The story takes a lot of twists and turns unttil the very end.

Jacob Cooley was a plantation and slave owner just outside Frankfurt Kentucky around 1840. Jacob beat his slave Hosea to death after Hosea built a beautiful Chest for Jacob and his wife's new born baby. Jacob didn't like it which resulted in the beating. The other slaves were furious over this and one of the slaves was a conjured slave which could place spells and curses on people. A curse was placed on the chest that Hosea built so all future generations of Jacob's descendents would be cursed. And soon after the chest was put in Jacob Cooley's baby's room, the baby died a few days later. And so it begins. Curse number one. 17 deaths total. Listen and find out how the curse was lifted, or was it, and where the chest is today. Vincent Pyne III was only 35 years old when he was found hanging in his father's garage. The coronor ruled Vince's death a suicide. Vincent's mother Yavonne believes that Vince was murdered and not a suicide. Also she states Vince's spirit is now in her house and that Vince constantly shows signs to her that he is still here. Author Michael D. Hess discusses his newest book, Haunted Clarke County Virginia with me. Michael grew up and was born in Virginia. Michael talks about the Ghost sightings, orbs, poltergeist, UFO and yes even Big Foot sightings in Clark County. Clark County Virginia is known for the most Paranormal activity in all of Virginia. TWA Flight 514 crashed in Mount Weather which is in Clarke County in December of 1974. All 92 people on that flight parished. They had to dig body parts out of the trees from all around the crash. To this day you can hear the passengers screams in the woods. Michael also talks about The Ebeneezer Church that has plenty of ghost stories in itself from the building to the nearby cemetary with unmarked graves. Michelle Simpson, a Youngstown State University student, had an unwanted guest outside her shower glass door. This story was taken from the 1998 Documentary, Ghosts In The Valley. This is the second of 6 stories from that documentary. Salinda Sandoval played the role of Michelle in that story simply titled Youngstown Ohio. Jason Wise played The Ghost. Salinda was also a student at YSU, responded to an ad I had placed in the YSU newsletter. The story took place in Youngstown but was filmed in Garrettsville Ohio. The Hogback Bridge, on Hogback road in Hermitage Pennsylvania. In 1998 I did a short movie, 6 stories based on true ghost stories from northeastern Ohio and western PA. I recieved 3 stories from 3 different people from different parts of PA, on the same bridge. Legend has it, a girl was killed under this bridge many years ago and her image will appear on this bridge.
