Red Tree is a local church. We should be defined by our times of spirit led prayer - together. We should be taking deep spirit empowered care of each other.
Red Tree is a local church. We are, in part, defined by our gathering together to worship God and meet with him. We must gather together. This is part of why this year has been so hard. Praise be to God that we live in a time when technology allows us to get creative in how we gather. And by the way, this isn’t a verse guilting you into going to church on Sundays. Gathering does not require that I schedule a worship service. We gather in all sorts of ways. But just like Antioch, if we are spending our gatherings discipling one another and hearing from God, we will leave our gathering to scatter with the good news for others.
God made his church amazing. We can do amazing things for the kingdom because of how God made his church. We are a part of this amazing thing God is doing.
Taking a break in our series on Esther, Pastor Mike preaches on grace and how the grace God give us is so much more than what we think of when we extend grace to someone else.
Pastor Sam teaches through v3:1-15. The World is not just indifferent to God’s people, it is actively hostile toward us. Terrible things happen to God’s people. We must still trust in his sovereignty even when things look terrible.

Pastor Sam continues our look at the story of Esther, showing us that when everything is out of your control, He is in control. We can pursue mission in the confidence that we don’t have to control circumstances or outcomes. We can simply be faithful and wait to see what God does!
In this introductory story Pastor Sam shows us the reality of the world without the gospel. People left unto themselves with sinful action and sinful motivation. Its so easy to see scenes like this and think “where is God in all this?” Esther tells us he is at the heart of it working his larger will.
Pastor Sam teaches on raising up and sending out disciples on Senior Sunday as we honor our graduates.
Pastor Sam teaches that we can bring our concerns, our hurts, our hearts to God in prayer. We ask him to protect us, but ultimately, God’s best protection is square in the middle of his will, even when that means suffering and hardship on our part.
Pastor Sam teaches that forgiveness and repentance are vital parts of our prayer life. We are impossibly indebted to our good Father so we bring our confessions to him with honest expectancy and receive his forgiveness. This forgiveness must then overflow out of us to the world around us and the wrongs we receive.
Pastor Craig teaches that prayer is the foundation of the life of discipleship. As God provides for us our needs, we learn to come to him with expectation and honesty for ourselves and for the world around us. This connects us to the heart of God to seek and save the lost.
Pastor Sam shows us how the upside down inverted expectations of Jesus’ kingdom and help them consider how Jesus might invert our expectations of the present times.
Pastor Sam wraps up our series on Colossians with a message on the entire book of Philemon. This is how kingdom life is lived out - our faith costs something. The gospel really changes things and changes how we live.

Pastor Craig continues our journey though Colossians by finishing out Paul's introductory prayer in the first chapter. We talk about the sufficiency of Christ to qualify us for his Kingdom.
In this first section of Paul's writing to the church at Colossae pastor Sam has us take a look at a beautiful concept that Paul reveals through Epaphras: "My name doesn't have to become famous for me to have kingdom impact." Our call is to be faithful, and in Paul's letter we see just that.
Pastor Sam kicks off our journey through the letter written to the church of Colossae. We see Paul's bold encouragement to know Jesus above all things, thereby disputing false beliefs that one might start believing.
Pastor Sam revisits the passage in John chapter 3 where a well known religious leader has a conversation with Jesus about what it means to enter in the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Sam takes us through 1 Samuel 18 and the friendship of Jonathan and David. We talk about our adoption as sons into the kingdom of God and how this speaks into our friendship and our community as Believers.
Brandon leads us as we take a look at a comparison between Jesus and Jonah and what it means to be called by God. We often copout of our pursuit of Jesus and act like Jonah, but Jesus died so we could live in Him.
Pastor Sam takes us through Jonah 4 finishing out our study of the book with the truth that Jesus is the better Jonah.
Pastor Craig jump starts our new Minor Prophet Series with a powerful message from Habakkuk. Here we look at Habakkuk's challenge to the people of his day to the condition of their hearts. The same challenge applies to all believers; are our hearts paralyzed to the things of God or are we awake and alive...?
Pastor Sam closes out our time in Malachi with a word of encouragement. God's promises are faithful and sure. Trust in His Word and our lives will remain steadfast in the changing of circumstances.

Pastor Sam takes us through the hard but realistic realization of interaction with a holy God. Being made holy and clean is much harder than our world wants but is so worth the journey.

Vs 16b "So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless."

Kicking off our Minor Prophets Series, pastor Sam leads us into the book of Malachi. Here we begin to resonate with God's serious passion for the hearts of His people through the lens of loving discipline. Holiness matters and it is only achieved by the working hand of God.

Pastor Sam leads us through our final passage in our journey through the book of Mark. Here we see Jesus' warning of what is to come and the encouragement of the promise: He is the Son of Man referred to in the book of Daniel and he will come "with great power and glory" and his reign is eternal.

Palm Sunday: We check out Mark's account of the burial of Jesus' body. He died sooner than expected, was buried in a borrowed religious man's tomb, and is followers scattered.
Pastor Craig brings us to the climax of the Gospel story with the death of Christ on the cross... but it doesn't end here.
Jesus' approach to the cross is consistent and faithful. We catch a glimpse into the events after Peter's denial and the specific details which God orchestrated to display Jesus' faithfulness to His will.
As we approach Jesus' ransom for humanity on the cross we see the reality of Peter's heart for Jesus, however we see a Savior that loves him still the same as he always has. Peter is loved - even unto death; and so are you.
