Nashy is an adventure, fitness and sports enthusiast and proud father of three.
He is the first to seize opportunities in outdoor adventures, regularly pushing himself and his family out of their comfort zone in an attempt to secure a satisfying work/life balance.
Vietnam was never in our original plans when we set off around the world. But oh how we are delighted to now be here and having a fantastic time.
We headed to Ha Long bay for a 3 day 2 night cruise aboard the Dragon Legend 2 and it did not dissapoint.
The kids had a blast, the food was tremendous and the scenery spectaular.

An early moring blether with Skyla about home schooling, travel and adventures.
Our journey around the world takes alot of planning just like planning ahead what school work the kids will do. We pick our days and step back when the kids are not feeling it.
To force them to study just doesnt work while having them together working at the same time is often a distraction.
Skyla has been great and gets stuck into the books while her brothers often take a bit more encouragement. The wortld is a classroom and with the adventures the kids are going on school often takes place outdoors experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat instead of on a screen.

Now settled in Bali we unpacked the Podcast kit for a chat about our epic day at Australia Zoo.

Welcome to The GET AFTER IT Family Podcast coming to you from a cold and miserable Brisbane, Australia!
That’s right folks we have landed in Aussie and the weather feels like home! Not to worry 28 degrees and sunshine is due tomorrow and the coming week!
We are in Australia for a short stop before we head on to Bali and we thought about time to release our first Travel Podcast.
Following an incredible experience living off grid in Fiji we have so much to discuss but please bear with us as we set up the Pods and work out how best to progress the shows. The kids are often hit or miss with their chat and interest then other times the stories flow and they are great company for a conversation.
Podcasts in the coming weeks will include memories of Canada, Hawaii, Tahiti and New Zealand with travel and family stories and hopefully a few funnies.

Nashy catches up with Oli for a chat on all this adventure. POushing out of your comfort zone and just getting started!
From 23rd March to 3rd June 2024, Oli France became the first Brit to complete the 3,556-mile journey from Death Valley to Denali, the lowest point on the North American continent at 86 meters below sea level to the highest at 6,194 meters entirely by human-power.
The challenge involved a solo bike ride through deserts, mountain ranges and frozen roads before Oli joined his 4-man mountaineering team for a 4-week, unsupported
climb to the summit of Denali via the Kahiltna Glacier and the West Butress Route.
Oli's Death Valley to Denali project is a part of The Ultimate Seven Project: Oli France’s record breaking challenge to become the first person to travel from the lowest geographical point to the highest on all seven continents - entirely by human power.

Nashy met Jamie last year at the Kendal Mountain Festival however they didn’t have time to record there and then. They kept in touch and made it happen with Jamie joining Nashy on Zoom form his home near the Pyrenees Mountain Range.
Jamie is a British long distance runner and ultra adventurer that has taken on and completed many incredible feats of endurance. He once ran 17,000 kilometres (11,000 mi) from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 600 days.
A man that does not chase world 1st's or records but chooses challenges that will push his mind and body to the limit once completed.

At 23-years-old Jasmine Harrison has become the first woman in the world to swim from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Jasmine joins Nashy to discuss the incredible adventure which challenged her from start to finish in the water and out as she not only had to work her way through the waves, jellyfish and shipping lanes there were countless challenges out of the water managing her team and making crucial decisions.
Only two people had swum from Land’s End to John o’Groats before – Ross Edgley, who owns the record for being the first and the fastest Briton to do it in 61 days in 2018, and Sean Conway who completed it in 2013.
No stranger to epic events Jasmine is also the youngest female to ever row the Atlantic solo. Following 70 days at sea she crossed the finish line of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge on December 12th 2020.

One week later there are 40 dads on the Dads and Dude's Facebook group, momentum is building and there are men reaching out from different locations that are keen to get moving, laughing and connected to the community.

John Collinson was born into adventure. With parents that thrived in the wilderness John and his sister Angel were destined for greatness.
Living an unconventional childhood John and his family – including older sister, Angel, also a pro skier – would climb peaks all over the west, with Johnny summiting Mount Rainier at age four and soon knocking off other iconic peaks across America like Mount Whitney, Mount Hood and Mount Shasta.
By age 17, he became the youngest person in the world to climb the Seven Summits, the highest peak on all seven continents, including the world’s tallest, Mount Everest.
John is currently recovering from a horrific accident and ACL re construction and Nashy caught up with him from his home in Utah.
Fitness, mindset and pushing yourself to the limit are constant themes during this conversation.

John Davidson aka The Mad Giraffe spent 15 years in the special forces, but nothing could have prepared him for his epic adventure on the Atlantic Ocean for the My Name's Doddie Foundation
The former SAS soldier has been shot down in a helicopter, shot down in a plane and shot.
He’s also been a kidnap for ransom hostage negotiator, however a solo 3000-mile row in a 28-foot boat has been “his biggest challenge yet”.
John took on the Atlantic back in 2019 and it was a pleasure to catch up with him during World in a Day as we raised funds for Doddie Aid.

He's half Irish, half Mexican, grew up in Ireland but lives in London now and has done for almost 10 years. On 1st July 2021, Ryan ran, rowed and cycled from The Spire, Dublin to The Shard, London. The event was a 400 mile triathlon, sponsored by So.Beer.

Charlie is a British explorer, film maker and endurance athlete from the Isle of Wight.
A trailblazer intent on forging new paths, Charlie seeks out new routes, challenging convention and the boundaries of endurance.
Charlie has made first SUP descents of the Rio Marañon (true source of the Amazon), the Blue Nile and most recently he completed the first solo and unsupported SUP circumnavigation of the UK.
Charlie finished in style on the Cumbrian coast, with a fundraising, world record breaking 87.2 mile nonstop crossing in open water.

Luke put in the performance of his life with Tom finishing in 1st place and being crowned World's Strongest Man 2021.

JJ caught up with Nashy during the charity event ‘World in a Day’ back in January while raising funds for the Doddie Weir Foundation.
JJ was injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan in 2011, while serving as a Royal Marine. JJ recalls the events of that day and the years since living with his injuries to winning medals at the Invictus Games.
An accomplished TV presenter and recent contestant on Strictly Come Dancing JJ is a familiar face to many. His personal story is inspirational as he loves to say “yes” and embrace life and opportunities.

From Ayr to Wrestlemania Drew McIntyre's story is an inspiring journey!
As a child he dreamed of being WWE Champion and in 2020 he achieved his dream defeating Brock Lesner at Wrestelmaina 36.
A determination to succeed moved Drew stateside at the age of 20 once he had completed a degree in Criminology at Glasgow University.
Fired from the WWE in 2014 Drew took stock, re focused and turned his life around.
He returned to the WWE and nothing and nobody was going to stop him becoming a Champion!

Chris Brannigan recently completed a 700 mile, barefoot walk from Lands End to Edinburgh to raise awareness and money for his daughters Charity - Hope for Hasti.
Hasti, has Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS); a rare, incurable and untreatable genetic condition.
The diagnosis means the eight-year-old faces a series of physical and mental challenges, such as seizures, severe anxiety and behaviour that could cause her to injure herself, with these symptoms becoming worse after puberty.
Determined to raise money to help find a cure, Chris took on the challenge despite admitting it felt 'like walking on glass' at times.

Nashy catches up with Brian Wood MC. Brian was awarded the Military Cross, one of Britain’s highest awards for gallantry in combat, by Her Majesty The Queen II, following his courageous leadership under enemy fire in Iraq.
In the heat of a lethal close quarters battle, fighting outnumbered, he seized the initiative, taking a split-second decision to lead his men into the teeth of enemy fire in the first bayonet charge by British soldiers in 25 years.
Leading from the front, he put his own life in great danger. Under his command, Brian’s men defeated the enemy without sustaining any serious casualties themselves. Their actions that day saved many other soldiers’ lives.
During a 16 year military career, Brian led British troops across the full spectrum of battle from training to fighting; from operations in the Balkans to high intensity combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.
