Part 1 of a 3 part series about slowing down and living life in a more Godly, more sustainable, pace.
Did you know that as Christians, we have the ultimate cheat sheet? We get to talk to the Holy Spirit, who can direct and guide us in every decision we have to make. Pastor Jim breaks down how to listen for the Holy Spirit.
What if life experience doesn't always need to be gained by trial and error? What if, like when we were taking tests in school, there was a cheat sheet that has the answers and helps us through life without so much difficulty?
Sometimes we try and solve our problems ourselves instead of trusting in God. Sometimes we feel like some things are too big (or maybe too small) for God, and that we need to figure it out. Maybe we just need to switch our wording a little bit, and have humility in knowing that God cares about all of our problems and anxieties, and that the "similes we hear aren't always a reality."
Have you ever wanted to be a leader? Maybe it's the last thing you desire, but you love or are really good at serving. Did you know the best leaders are servers? Pastor Jim breaks down serving and how that fits into ministry and our walk with Jesus.
Using the trendy fanny-pack as an analogy, Pastor Derek breaks down how no matter where you are at in your walk with God, there's a place for you in the church, and that you can find your "fit" in many different areas and ministries within.
What does it mean to engage in church? What does it mean to commit to one and be fully invested? Pastor Derek breaks down the difference between being a consumer and a contributor, and how that also applies in our marriage, career, and personal lives as well
To get to where we want to in life (the nice car, the house, the career, the marriage, etc) you have to go through the process of getting there. Pastor Derek breaks down how that all looks in our lives, and in the church as well.
In the first part of Pastor Derek's transition into Lead Pastor, Pastor Jim talks about grace, receiving the gifts, and the anointing of being the overseer of a church.
Pastor Derek and his wife, Nicole, talk about how to be present with God through praise and worship.
Most of us remember having to say "here" when the teacher called our name during attendance. While we might have responded when our name was called, maybe we weren't actually there mentally. In fact, what if there's a difference between being "here" and being "present"?
How do we get a closer, more intimate relationship with God? How do we worship Him? Pastor Jim gives us a fresh perspective on worship and why it's important in our daily walk with God.
How do we get a closer, more intimate relationship with God? How do we worship Him? Pastor Jim gives us a fresh perspective on worship and why it's important in our daily walk with God.
Concluding Pastor Derek's four part series, he mentions that whenever God wants to do something FRESH, he breathes life into it.
What if it's not "see it to believe it", but instead its "believe it to see it"? Pastor Derek breaks into how to have fresh faith in 2022 in part three of his four part series.
In Part 2 of Pastor Derek's series, Derek asks us an important question: What comes out when we get squeezed (or pressured)?
In order to see something FRESH, sometimes we need to put in the work involved to get to it. Pastor Derek speaks on what "fresh" means and how we can attain it.
Pastor Jim talks about the God encounters that occurred before and during the birth of Jesus, and how we can have them as well.
Pastor Jim talks about the God encounters that occurred before and during the birth of Jesus, and how we can have them as well.
Did you know that we're supposed to be walking love letters from God? Wait, what?! Yes, as God's people, we show Christ's love through our actions, like stories written directly from and by God.
Did you know the more you love, the better you will live? Pastor Derek talks about how loving others can renew and transform your life for God.
Jesus "must needs" had TO GO through Samaria and He had to be willing to Re_ORDER his route to do it. Find out why having it TO GO is vital for breaking cultural and religious norms.
In the second part of a two part series, Pastor Jim dives more in depth of how City Centre Church is governed, how it operates, and how the five equipping gifts (commonly known as the 5-fold ministry) tie into City Centre's Christ-focused mission and vision.
In part one of a two part series, Pastor Jim explains what the 5-fold ministry is, our church's structure, and why they're both key for understanding City Centre Church's mission and vision.
Speaking on personal testimony, Pastor Derek speaks on how it's not "faith over fear", it's actually love over fear. It's okay for us to be afraid and still have complete faith in God.
Pastor Rick Ciaramitaro, President of the Ministers Network of Canada guest speaks for us today.
Whatever you focus on, you tend to get immersed in, and when we get immersed, often times we get overwhelmed.
Pastor Derek Melnychuk
Guest Speaker Jim Christian:
We have all been given the divine right to heal, deliver, set free, bless, and strengthen others because of the complete and total demonstration of the annihilation of the demonic realm's hold on mankind.
Have you considered how significant your thought life is! What do you think about on a daily basis? What influences your thinking. Who and what do you allow to form your thoughts?
Pastor Jim talks about what to do when we're asking God for wisdom, and how to receive it.
When we isolate ourselves, or cut ourselves off from healthy sources, we tend to get unhealthy. Pastor Derek explains how and why we tend to dry out and die out, and how to prevent it.
As Part II of Pastor Jim's mini-series, we hear more about healing—how God heals, how we heal others through the Holy Spirit, and how to receive healing.
Pastor Jim Randall
In this powerful two-part message, Pastor Jim speaks about God's desire to bring healing to our lives. Healing correlates strongly with atonement, so by our active faith in Jesus we reserve the right to receive God's healing.
Pastor Jim_August 16th, 2021
Just like God promised a land of milk and honey to the Israelites, HE has a promised land for you too. He doesn't want us to live defeated lives but He calls us to overcome, by faith, the challenges (or giants) in our lives.
Brad Mayer_August 8th, 2021
God has designed us each for significance but we can sometimes lose sight of Him when we are slouching. He is calling us to POSTURE ourselves, stop SLOUCHING, and focus on Him who will straighten us out. Then we will step into significance which He will use to reveal Himself to those around us.
Pastor Derek_August 2nd, 2021
Jesus calls us to look to the world beyond our own lives. A world filled with people who need a saviour. What does it take for us to stop looking at ourselves and our own issues and see the fields that are ready for harvest? Find out in today's sermon!

Whether you are without hope, struggling with sin, ashamed of past mistakes or dealing with unexpected troubles in your life, you are not alone. We have all been a wanderer, prisoner, sailor or fool at some point in our life. It doesn't matter who you are, where you came from or what you've gone through, the solution is ALWAYS the same; call out to God and He will save you.
Brad Mayer_July 18th, 2021
Guest speaker, Pastor Gregg Galan shares a message corresponding with Saskatchewan's reopening on hope through hardship.
Pastor Galan_July 11th, 2021
Pastor Jim speaks about the current affairs of residential schools, and the call we have as Christians to rejoice with those who rejoice, and mourn with those who mourn. He calls for unification of City Centre Church through its diversity and mission: for people to come to know Jesus.
Pastor Jim_July 4th, 2021
Pastor Jim talks about what what is required of us if we want to see more overflow, more miracles, more signs, more boldness, and more impact in our walk with God in our every day lives.
Pastor Jim_June 27th, 2021

Pastor Derek_June 20th, 2021
Mirror, Mirror, on the wall...
When we get caught in the trap of comparison, we often look at our flaws, instead of seeing our strengths. The mirror turns from being a tool of reflection into being a tool of comparison. Join us as Pastor Derek preaches part 2 of FIGURE IT OUT, where we're diving into the nitty gritty of how we perceive and carry ourselves in our day to day walk with God.

Pastors Chris and Bonnie Ward_May 16th, 2021
Gentleness is a natural response to people we cherish. Pastor Cathy talks on Mother's Day about the Gentleness of a mother, and how we as Christians are called to be gentle and welcoming to people inside and outside of the church.
Pastor Cathy_May 9th, 2021
In part two of Pastor Derek's mini-series, we find out that the cream that shaves your hair is NOT the same cream that flavours your butter squares... In other words, we explore that things may look similar to a relationship with God, but can taste bitter and be unhealthy for us.
Pastor Derek_May 2nd, 2021
What do you do when it's all the same to you? In order to "C" the difference you must be willing to have the proper lens (context), spend time getting to know the legit (God’s presence), and be humble enough to admit when you don’t know what to do. Pastor Derek talks about three main "C"s that can help you to grow wisdom in knowing how to spot differences.
Pastor Derek // April 25th, 2021
As a church, going is not just a campaign, it’s a lifestyle. Pastor Jim shows us that we have been anointed to do this. To do this like Jesus, we must GO around DOING GOOD AND reach those who are oppressed.
Pastor Jim // April 18th, 2021
If you want to mobilize (lead) people, then you need to be willing to get mobilized yourself. Brad gets real and raw about reaching out to the lost and hurting throughout Saskatoon, and realizing that our hard times are not just wasted, but are ways we can relate with others and bring glory to God.
Brad Mayer_April 11th, 2021
Guess what? You rock! Yes, you and I not only rock but we are all rocks. As living stones, we are called to be fit into the spiritual house (the church). Often, as God is trying to fit us, rather then let it happen and be fit, we want to resist it and have a fit. Find out 4 key ways not to have a fit when we are being fit.
Pastor Jim_March 28th, 2021
How do you take your next ten minutes and turn it into a habit? When trying to change some habits in your life, you do not start with a habit, but with a routine. It is these routines that make room for God to move in your life.
Pastor Derek_March 21st, 2021
We are continuing to talk about the importance of the small, consistent daily. There are times when what we are dealing with in our life doesn't require a miracle, but actually requires us to rearrange our moments. If you give God your moments, He can change your life.
Pastor Derek_Mar. 14, 2021
We all have a certain limit to our time. What we do with it matters. A consistent amount of “small” is way more effective than a casual amount of “large”. Find out why this is in this Sunday's message.
Pastor Derek_March 3rd, 2021
We all get excited about sharing the Good News but sometimes we forget that it often takes some other "Goods" in order to do this effectively. Find out if you have the goods.

When God wants to bless us he is first going to stretch us. Find out why this is so important to stepping into the DUE SEASON God has for you AND find out 2 things to watch out for when you are being stretched.
Pastor Derek_Feb. 21, 2021
As we continue our series about DUE SEASON, we will continue to look at the importance of a seed in context of our money. Money is a magnifier of what is in our heart. If we have generous hearts with a desire to be a blessing, we will reap a harvest according to our generosity. Generosity is determined by what you have, not what you don't have.
Pastor Jim_Feb. 7th, 2021
Life is designed to function on the principle of a seed and the greatest seed every sown was God being willing to give Jesus as a seed for the harvest of all mankind. Since this moment, the seed has always been the solution out of your situation because your seed is always attached to a harvest.
Everyone has equeal access to God's grace, but not everyone walks in equal amounts of Favour. In fact, favour is something we can learn how to grow and develop in. Find out how to do this and why this is so important to stepping into your DUE SEASON
Pastor Derek_Jan. 17th, 2021
It is one thing to live a reasonable life, it is another to live a wise life. Wisdom usually comes from personal experinece but personal experience comes with a big cost. However, there is a way to get wisdom without having to have the often painful experiences associated with it. And when we live a life with wisdom, it helps unlock our DUE SEASON.
Pastor Derek_Jan. 17th, 2021
Being reasonable is a good trait to have. However, no matter how reasonable we are, our reason will not always get us into our due season. Sometimes we must be able to step beyond our reason in order to step into all God has for us this year.
Pastor Derek_Jan. 10th, 2021
2020 seemed as Charles Dickens put it "the worst of times" but 2021 is going to be "the best of times". As we begin this series we are going to look at how got doesn't just have something NEW for us this year, but HE has something DUE for us this year. Find out how 2021 will be YOUR DUE SEASON.
Pastor Derek_Jan. 3rd, 2021
2020 was an interesting year to say the least. Through much of it, it felt like we were not in control. However, we are always in control of how we respond to the things that happen to us and this requires us to have WISDOM. Let's welcome wisdom as we get ready for 2021!
Pastor Cathy_Dec. 27th, 2020

While the impact of it is real, did you know that there is something that we have been given that should be far more real, far more contagious and far more impacting? Find out what it is and why we should spread it.
Evangelist Brad_Dec. 20th, 2020

Join us we continue our series about the "unfair" ADVENTage we get from the birth that changed the earth as we discuss our views of love and God's view of US.
Pastor Derek_Dec. 13th, 2020
ADVENTage - the advantage we have from the birth that changed the earth. We are anticipating the arrival of Jesus on Christmas and with that arrival we have been given so much that at times the ADVENTage is so great it can almost seem unfair.
Pastor Derek_Dec. 6th, 2020
Life is full of breaks. From school (recess, winter break, Christmas break) to work (coffee break, lunch break, holidays) to sporting events (half time, times outs, commercial breaks) breaks are an important part to our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. Sometimes life becomes “heavy” and it seems like we just can’t seem to Catch a Break. Thankfully, we don’t have to rely on just catching a break, we can learn how to HAVE A BREAK and lift some of that weight.
Pastor Derek M_Nov. 29th, 2020
There are times in life that our "fight" is not against flesh and blood but in the spirit. We can gain the victory over things we are facing if we prioritize prayer and praise. Find out why this is important and how we are going to do this over the next few weeks.
Pastor Jim Randall_Nov. 22nd, 2020
In a time when all we see and hear about is what everyone is AGAINST, we should be known for what we are FOR. In today's message we will find out how we can be FOR courage, strength and HOPE in the middle of very discourging times.
It is our heavenly citizenship and not our earthly citizenship that we need to look at to determine what we do during these unique times that we are facing. We are no longer our own but we have been bought with a price. As Paul said, we will do whatever it takes to reach our community with the Gospel.
Pastor Jim_Nov. 8th, 2020
There are some things in the Word of God that no matter which language you translate it, they all are translated the exact same way. When we see this we need to stand up and take note that this is something that Jesus probably wanted US to know.
Brad Mayer_Nov. 1st, 2020
If repentance is the cornerstone of revival than forgiveness is the foundation. It is so foundational to who we are called to be as Christians that Jesus even says that if we do walk in forgiveness than we, ourselves, will not be forgiven. Gossip, bringing up past wrongs, saying "You ALWAYS" are all evidences that there may be some bitterness that needs to be released before it takes root as unforgiveness. Find out how in today's message.
Pastor Derek_Oct. 25th, 2020

Thankfullness is an important attribute to have in your life. In fact, thankfulness is even supposed to play a major role in our prayer life. What does it mean to pray with thanksgiving and how does that affect our prayers?
Pastor Jim_Oct. 11th, 2020
Repentance is not as much about setting your affection away from something but setting your affection toward someONE. There are practical ways that we can purpose to SET our affects towards the things that are above. The better we learn how to do this the less we will lose our direction in life.
Pastor Derek_Oct. 4th, 2020
We often have the best of intentions of doing things - whether it is a project at work, taking the garbage out at home or making a million dollars by 30. No matter how well intended we are, our lives don’t always end up following these intentions. In fact, even when we have a destination/goal in mind we don’t always end up getting there. Why is it that even when we know what we should do and have the best intentions of doing it, we find ourselves doing other things-choosing other directions? Find out in today's message what it it is that really determines the direction in our lives. Pastor Derek_Sept. 27th, 2020

Jesus said, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". Often times the people that have hurt us the most don't really know the effect that it has on us or what they really have done to us. Even in these situations, there is still a grace that allows us to forgive even when they don't know what they are doing.
Pastor Dave McGrew_Aug. 23rd, 2020

Pressures of life, desires for things, uncertainty about COVID, social media all try to shape the way we think and act. If we are not careful, eventually we will find ourselves allowing our mind to be squeezed into shapes it was never meant to be in.
Pastor Jim Randall_Aug 9th, 2020
Everything in life is better when it is personal rather than "prisonal". When we start to TAKE it PERSONAL things usually move toward rules and regulations rather than relationship. The better approach is to instead learn how to MAKE it PERSONAL. Find out why in today's message.
