Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and LIberty Minute. The Whackadoodle Wing of the radical environmental movement is constantly looking for new ways to get people in trouble for developing the earth’s resources. For greens, man is not God’s vice-regent over all creation, he is a parasite, who must be punished for leaving a human imprint on Gaia, the goddess at whose feet they worship. They have invented a new crime, the crime of “ecocide.” Ecocide would make human development of the earth’s resources a criminal enterprise which must be punished. In the worldview of eco-warriors, it is the equivalent of genocide.They want people punished in international courts for infringing on the right of nature to exist without human intervention. Well, in Genesis 1, God says man has dominion over all the earth, environmentalists say he doesn’t. I’m with God on this one.
