Being in God's presence is a life-changing encounter. In this final message of The Exodus series, four distinct things happen when we commune with God.
How does one enter God's presence? What does it mean to be in God's presence? Two concepts addressed in this sermon give insight into these questions.
For the Israelites, much of their Exodus journey from Egypt to the Promised Land was spent in the desert. These three truths give insight into applying the desert life to today.
A two part promise is given to the Israelites-"The Lord will fight for you", and "you will see the deliverance of the Lord." This promise applies to us too as we embrace the truths related from today's passage.
God told Moses to tell the Israelites to move on! How would you respond if God told you it's time to move on; Is it time to leave here and go there?
God called Moses to free the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. When God calls you, answer His call and stand on these five truths!
The final principle we see in the Daniel story is to Favor God's Favor. Two indicators reveal Daniel's desire for God's favor and gives a great example for us to follow.
In the events leading up to Daniel being thrown into the lions' den, we see two more principles and a practice that helped cement Daniel's resolve to not defile himself.
Daniel incorporates several principles into his life that help his resolve to not defile himself. These principles can help our resolve as well. To maintain our resolve we must think about what we think about.
