What happens when you execute every strategy, do everything right, and still hit an unexpected patch of loose gravel on the road of life?
In Part 2 of the "Riding Different" series, we take a look at how to navigate the unpredictable turns of leadership, family, and faith. Moving between the 30-mph intensity of the Tour de France and a quiet 2-mph walk with a 20-month-old granddaughter in a French park, this message unpacks how Kingdom leaders handle crashes, build lasting legacy, and adopt the servant mindset of a domestique.

Has the stress of daily life stolen your smile? Welcome to the Grand Finale of Book Club! 📖🎈
As the summer wraps up, cultural burnout is real. Between hectic schedules, running on the daily hamster wheel, and endless distractions, it is incredibly easy to feel entirely drained. Today, for our final installment of Book Club we are breaking out of that exhaustion.
In this finale, a celebrated musical artist and pastor delivers a life-giving message on reclaiming the joy you’ve been missing. There is a massive difference between temporary happiness and supernatural, biblical joy. Happiness depends on your circumstances going perfectly, but joy is the unshakeable confidence that God is good even when life is hard. If you are ready to trade your worry for worship and step into true purpose, this is the message you've been waiting for.

Tired of compromising? It’s time to build some serious holy grit. Welcome to Week 3 of Book Club! 📖⚡️
We are past the midway point of summer, and it is easy to let our spiritual routines drift. Today we are bringing a message with some serious backbone.
This week’s featured speaker actually has a deep history with our pastor—they met all the way back in 2005 as youth pastors in the Purpose Driven Youth Ministry program championed by Doug Fields! Today, he steps up to deliver an urgent, no-apologies rallying cry for spiritual maturity and biblical responsibility. We live in a culture that constantly pressures us to bow, back down, and drift with the crowd. This message is your challenge to stand firm on the solid rock of truth and lead your family, your business, and your life with conviction over comfort.

Summer is in full swing, and while the days are fast, sometimes our personal lives can feel completely on pause. Today, we are continuing our 4-part series. In this week's message, a powerhouse author and speaker delivers a perspective shift on what to do when God says "wait." If you are currently waiting on an answer to prayer, a career breakthrough, or a restored relationship, it is incredibly easy to feel frustrated by the "slow burn." But you are about to discover that the waiting room is not a wasted room—it's exactly where God does His deepest, most refining work to prepare you for what's next.

Some of our most profound spiritual growth happens when we step outside of our usual routine and listen to someone else’s story.
Kickstarting our 4-part Book Club series—in partnership with the Life.Church Open Network—this message features a globally recognized leadership expert delivering a vital truth: You are entirely one decision away from a different ending.
Our legacy—whether in our homes, our businesses, or our nation—is defined by our intentional choices, not our accidental circumstances. If you have been feeling stuck, stagnant, or simply coasting through life, this message provides a biblical framework to stop drifting and start choosing a trajectory aligned with God's truth.
🎙️ The Deeper Dive (Podcast Tie-In)This weekend's message serves as the perfect runway for a broader conversation happening in our community following the 4th of July weekend. The corrosion we feel happens when we expect a political figure or a government to protect a dream that only God can sustain."
As our nation navigates shifting definitions of the American Dream and cultural anxiety over systemic decay, where should believers anchor their hope?
In the conclusion of this special two-part pre-July 4th series on Heartfelt Mornings, Pastor Tom Roepke joins Burch and Lisa to look past the contemporary political noise. Picking up right where last week's discussion on Abraham Lincoln left off, this episode tackles everything from the hilarious, real-time cultural shock of World Cup tourists to the profound, foundational truths written into the Declaration of Independence.
The conversation challenges us to drop the usual political talking points and examine a vital question: Have we hitched our hope to an election cycle instead of the King of Kings? This archive features the full conversation, including a final pastoral prayer for our communities, our leaders, and our national character.
During the broadcast, Tom also highlights a powerful sermon titled "Once in 250 Years – Celebrating the Declaration," delivered from the pulpit of Bethel Chapel by Dave Zanotti of the American Policy Roundtable. Listeners are highly encouraged to visit The Public Square media platform to hear Dave's full audio address, which serves as an excellent companion resource to help families re-center on first principles over the holiday weekend. Listen here.
As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, we often look strictly at political philosophy to understand our history. But what does the actual math show about the spiritual climate of early America? 🇺🇸✨
Welcome to Part 1 of our special conversation on Heartfelt Radio.
In this segment, Pastor Tom sits down with Heartfelt Mornings cohosts Lisa Friend and Bruchon English to discuss the deep, biblically saturated culture that birthed our nation and why the structure of our government looks the way it does. Drawing from the profound insights of Washington scholar Dr. William B. Allen, we explore how early Americans’ realistic understanding of human frailty shaped our system of checks and balances, and why true leadership requires a posture of self-restraint and healing grace.
In this segment: The Standard: George Washington stepping onto the balcony of Federal Hall in 1789 and establishing a national character built on public morality. Biblical Realism: Why the separation of powers isn't just a political trick, but a practical shield built by a people who took the reality of human sin seriously (Jeremiah 17:9).
The Constitutional "Covenant": How the Reformed tradition of solemn covenants transformed a ruler from an absolute monarch into a accountable covenant-keeper—"Mr. President." The Posture of Healing: A look at Abraham Lincoln’s scriptural language used to bind up national fractures rather than exploit them.
📌 TIMESTAMPS:
Stay tuned for Part 2 of this conversation dropping next week on July 2nd at 7:00 AM!
If this conversation challenges or encourages you, please like, subscribe, and share it with a friend who loves our national heritage. Blessings! 🙌
Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on the digital noise? 📱
In this message, Pastor Tom concludes series, Crushing Chaos, with a powerful look at how to transition from the exhaustion of the world’s patterns into the peace of God's Garden.
We often focus so much on what we gain from technology that we completely blind ourselves to what we are giving up. Technology was designed for convenience, but your soul was designed for love—and love requires a slower, unforced rhythm.
Pastor Tom also leans into the upcoming 4th of July week and the approaching America 250 milestone. Featuring a powerful clip from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. ,

We didn’t mean to. No one ever plans to hand over a device that fuels late-night anxiety, comparison, and isolation. Yet, we look around our homes and realize a digital firehose is pouring straight into our souls.
This Father's Day weekend, Pastor Tom continues our series, with a timely look at the spiritual battle inside our pockets. Drawing from a powerful, real-life moment of courage from a 7-year-old boy named Witten at a service this week in O’Fallon, IL, this message is a direct rallying cry for our church—and specifically for men—to stand guard over our homes.
The enemy doesn’t need to kick down your front door anymore; he just needs a Wi-Fi signal. It's time to talk back to the digital GPS of this world, break the silence, and protect the gates of our lives.

How do we move from simply "surviving" the mess of life to actually "occupying" our God-given purpose?
In this powerful conclusion to our 4-week series, Pastor Tom explores Days 5 and 6 of Creation (Genesis 1:20-31), where God transitions from building the infrastructure of the universe to populating it with life.
We discover that order is not the end goal—fruitfulness is.

"I know this church."
Those were the words of a local delivery driver who walked into Linden Road.
Years ago, she was in a difficult place, and this church placed a simple set of kitchenware in her hands. Today? She passed those same pots down to her daughter.
Chaos says you’re too small to make a difference. The Principle of Placement says that when a 'good thing' is put in the 'God spot,' it creates a legacy that lasts for generations. J

It’s Memorial Day weekend, and while many of us are using the three-day break as an absolute escape hatch from our hectic schedules, a vacation won't fix a lack of structure.
Today is also Pentecost Sunday, and in Part 2 of our Crushing Chaos series, Pastor Tom drops a truth bomb that will completely reframe your week: "The answer to chaos isn’t peace... it’s order. And Godly order requires PARTITION."
In this message, "The Power of Partition," we look at how the Holy Spirit fell like fire not just to give the disciples goosebumps, but to draw a line in the sand—separating them from the chaos of the world for a global destiny.
In this episode:
🎙️ A special look at Pastor Tom’s recent segment on Heartfelt Radio's Pastor's Corner.
🔥 How Pentecost mathematically reverses the linguistic chaos of the Tower of Babel.
🛠️ The 3 specific partitions you must let the Holy Spirit draw in your life this week to protect your time, your identity, and your sanity. Missed out on our Compassion International Sunday last week? It's not too late to build an infrastructure of hope for a child in Kenya.

What would you say to the next generation if you knew your time on earth was running out?
In this episode of Pastor’s Corner, Pastor Tom Roepke joins Heartfelt Mornings hosts Burch and Lisa to unpack a deeply moving, urgent perspective on life, family, and cultural stewardship inspired by a recent address from former U.S. Senator Ben Sasse.
Speaking at the Manhattan Institute while facing a terminal cancer diagnosis, Sasse chose to look past Washington politics and target the true battleground of our era: the human soul and the local family table.
Join us as we explore what it means to live "on the clock" with a robust biblical worldview. We live in the most abundant era in human history, yet our culture is drowning in digital anxiety, gluttony, and grievance. How do we fight back? By cultivating true biblical virtue, practicing "Tech Sabbaths," and choosing the slow, local, inconvenient work of discipleship.
We ground this life-overview in two foundational scripture passages:
📖 Mark 8:36–37 – The danger of gaining the world but forfeiting the soul.
📖 Deuteronomy 6:6–7 – God's local, relational design for family discipleship.
No matter what the future holds, our times are in God's sovereign hands. It’s time to roll up our sleeves, put down our screens, and plant our "apple trees" today.

We're launching our brand-new series, "Crushing Chaos," inspired by the insights of Pastor Manny Arango.
If your life, your calendar, or your mind has felt like a whirlwind lately, you are not alone. But what if the answer to your chaos isn’t a change of scenery? What if the answer isn't peace... but order?
Let's talk about "The Infrastructure of Impact," a look at the radical truth hidden in Genesis 1 and Isaiah 27. God isn't intimidated by your mess; He sees it as raw material for a miracle.
Learn how to draw the sword of divine order, dust off your daily habits, and build a character strong enough to carry the weight of your purpose.

Happy Mother’s Day! Today, we celebrate the women who have nurtured, led, and loved us. But today is also a special "one-off" bridge message as we transition from our "Unstoppable Acts" series.
In 2013, Pastor Tom traveled to Kenya—from the dense urban slums of Kiberra to the lush mountains above Lake Victoria. In this message, he shares a "hidden chapter" of his journey and how it fundamentally shifted his understanding of God’s heart for justice, generosity, and compassion.

In the series finale of Unstoppable Acts, Pastor Tom explores what it means to live out our "Fourth Day"—the life we lead after the mountaintop experience ends.
Using the metaphor of a "Strava Beacon," we look at how the Holy Spirit provides us with a signal of safety and direction, and how we are called to be a "live beacon" for others.
Today, we hear more from Steven and Devin about their wild experience during a 50mph windstorm and a total power outage. From dealing with "impostor syndrome" to facing the shadows of the past, their stories prove that God doesn't waste our suffering—He turns it into a witness.

In this special third session of our 'Unstoppable Acts' series, Pastor Tom Roepke sits down with Steven Montgomery and Devin McIntosh to discuss their transformative experience during the Walk to Emmaus (March 12-15, 2026).
The weekend was anything but 'controlled.' At 2:00 PM on Friday, 50mph winds knocked out the power, leaving the group in a literal blackout until Sunday afternoon. But as we’ve learned in this series, the Holy Spirit’s Transformation Power (Dunamis) doesn't need a power grid to work.
In today's message, we explore:
Seven weeks later, the 'retreat high' hasn't faded. Instead, it has turned into 'unwavering gratitude.' Join us as we bridge the gap between the ancient Road to Emmaus and the modern mission of being a witness in 2026.

Ever had a moment where reality didn't match the "power-on" version in your head? 💡🌑
Two weeks ago at the Emmaus Walk, the lights went out. Recently, the Northern Lights appeared in our own backyards—but only for those who got away from the artificial lights.
Life is full of "unexpected" moments that catch us off guard.
Join us this Palm Sunday as we pivot from our series on the Prophet Elisha to the streets of Jerusalem. 🌴 The crowd was ready for an "Elisha-sized" miracle.
They wanted a double-portion King to strike down their enemies. They shouted "Hosanna!" (Save us!), but they were looking for a King who acted like a man... not a King who was actually God.

Have you ever felt like you were just "swinging the handle"? You’re going through the motions—parenting, working, even serving at church—but the "bite" is gone. The power is out. The edge is at the bottom of the river.
The Message: In our Elisha Series finale, we dive into one of the most unusual miracles in the Bible: the floating ax head. But this isn't just ancient history. This past month, during the Heart of Ohio Men’s Emmaus Walk, we lived this story. On Friday afternoon, the power went out at the camp. With 12 talks left and two days of darkness ahead, we had to face a hard truth: Many of us have been living in a spiritual blackout for years.
In this broadcast, we explore:
The Diagnostic Question: Elisha doesn't ask "Why?" He asks "Where?"
The Friday Blackout: What to do when the "machinery" of your life stops working.
The 3:30 Miracle: Why God’s restoration often comes just an hour before the deadline.
The Participation Principle: God makes it float, but you have to lift it out. Watch now to discover how the "Wood of the Cross" defies the spiritual gravity of your past.
Action Step: Are you ready to stop swinging a broken handle? Type "LIFT IT OUT" in the comments if you’re claiming your restoration today!

Ever feel like you just can’t take any more? ✋
Maybe you’re in what we call the "Practical Wilderness." You’ve burned the plow, you’re trying to follow God, but everything feels bone-dry. The car breaks, the kids are struggling, and the "rain" just isn't falling.
This week, we’re learning from the Prophet Elisha that only God can send the water, but sometimes He asks YOU to dig the ditch.
Faith doesn’t deny that the ground is dry; faith decides to believe what God SAYS over what you SEE. If you’re waiting on a "Suddenly" from God, it’s time to grab your shovel and start worshiping in the middle of your desert! 🏜️✨
Join the Conversation: What is one "ditch" you are digging this week? Is it a ditch of prayer? A ditch of kindness in your marriage? A ditch of trust in your finances? Let us know in the comments so the team can pray with you! 👇

Did you know your relationship status (whether you’re a newlywed like Burch, single, or married for decades) is actually a "movie trailer" for the greatest love story ever told?
In this episode of Heartfelt's Pastor Corner, Pastor Tom Roepke joins co-hosts Burch and Elisa on Heartfelt Mornings and dives into The Mystery of the Mirror.
We’re exploring Ephesians 5 and 1 Kings 19 to see why Jesus "burned the plow" of Heaven to commit to you.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re just "dating" God—wondering if He’s going to break up with you over your "spiritual morning breath"—this conversation is for you.
You'll want to listen to the first 60 seconds again and hear a familiar voice for a thoughtful reflection from the Bible...(hint...MZ)
Most of us spend our lives plowing the "12th row"—doing the same chores, facing the same dirt, and following a routine that feels smaller than our spirit. We want More, but we’re afraid to let go of the handles of the plow.
Today, we launch our new series, ELISHA: Burn the Script. We’re looking at how an ordinary guy behind an oxen team became a history-maker by destroying his "Plan B."
Listen to this if you’re ready to:
✅ Break the cycle of spiritual stagnation.
✅ Identify the "safety nets" holding you back from your calling.
✅ Start a 40-day journey toward a more passionate, purposeful life.

Welcome to church! Today we are wrapping up our "HABITS: Running the Race" series on this Super Sunday.
While the rest of the world is focused on the "Big Game," we are focusing on the "Big Victory" already won for us by Jesus.
Pastor Tom explores the final habit: Sacraments. We’ll look at the beautiful meaning behind Baptism and Communion—what the Presbyterian tradition calls the "outward sign of an inward work"—and how these practices keep us connected to Christ and each other.
🍞 COMMUNION NOTICE: We will be sharing in a "Victory Meal" together later in the service. Please take a moment now to prepare a piece of bread (or a cracker) and some juice (or water) so you can join us from your home! Family-Friendly Communion: A special time to remember our baptism and honor Jesus’ sacrifice.

In Week 4 of our HABITS series, we're looking at the discipline of an athlete versus the discipline of a disciple.
Big Idea: Church involvement means working together to put others first.
Using the testimony of former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James and the blueprint of the early church in Acts 2, we explore why "hanging out" as a church is about much more than just a weekly meeting—it’s about a world-changing lifestyle of generosity and fellowship.

Week 3: Joy – The Astonished Messenger
The holidays are supposed to be about joy, but for many of us, they just become a stressful chase for happiness—the perfect gift, the perfect party, the perfect moment. We spend so much energy pursuing that "peak experience," only to find that happiness is fragile and often leads to disappointment or exhaustion (think of the chaos of a traffic jam on Mount Everest! ).
But what if the greatest joy isn't something you chase?
Big Idea: Jesus offers joy in the midst of pain.
In Week 3 of Lights, Camera, CHRISTmas, we look at the Shepherds, the unlikeliest recipients of the greatest news ever announced. They were terrified when the sky opened up, proving that the announcement of great joy often happens in the middle of chaos and fear, not after it's gone.
Join us as we explore the Shepherds' story and learn how to claim the indestructible joy that Jesus provides—a joy rooted in the truth of Romans 8:1 (NLT): "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus." This Christmas, stop chasing the peak and step into the stable. Find the "great joy" that is available to all people, no matter what you're dealing with.

We've explored five ways to be a blessing: Prayer, Listening, Eating, and Serving. These actions are vital, showing love without saying a word. But is only being kind enough?
The final step is the most challenging: Share your Story.
We often stop ourselves because we feel unqualified or afraid of imposing. But sharing your story is simply humbly telling someone what changed your life. You don't need all the answers, and a little awkwardness is worth it if it helps someone find hope.
Kindness gets people's attention; your story points them to the source of your hope. We have to move beyond just hoping people find their way back and actually help them.
We'll equip you with a simple, three-part way to compose and confidently share the difference-maker in your life.

It is Reformation Sunday and also week 5 of our series, How to Bless Your Neighbor.
Our mission is to Love God, Love Others, with No Limits, and we do that by being a blessing to the people God has put in our lives.
This week, we dive into the first 'S' in our B.L.E.S.S. acronym: Serve. We are going to offer a challenge for us all to embrace a radical paradigm shift—a move from a crown to an apron—just as Jesus demonstrated when he washed his disciples' feet. Jesus, the King of Kings, lowered himself to the lowest act of service, teaching us that to be great, we must first serve.
This isn't just about kind gestures; it's about a total shift in how we approach our spouse, co-workers, and community. We also take a moment to discuss the vital regional ministry of Heartfelt Radio and the power of supporting Christian outreach beyond our local walls.
Are you ready to stop hoping people find their way back to God and start helping?

We're pausing our "How to Bless Your Neighbor" (B.L.E.S.S.) series briefly this week to bring you a truly vital message on perseverance and assignment.
This week's word from Pastor Noah Herrin challenges us with a vital question: Are you faithful to the finish? Drawing inspiration from the life of Noah, we are reminded: Starting things is easy. Finishing things is biblical. If you’ve been feeling weary in your commitment to B.L.E.S.S. your neighbors, or tempted to trade your God-given assignment for a man-made opportunity, this message is for you.
We’ll learn why God’s measurement of success is faithfulness—not comparison! A Moment of Thanks and Prayer:
Before the message, we share a moment of profound gratitude! We celebrate the wonderful news of the safe return of the 20 remaining living hostages in Israel after 737 days in captivity. This is a true answered prayer, reminding us of the power of our collective faith! We pray for the safe return of the deceased hostages and for lasting peace in the region, standing on the promise: “The Lord sets prisoners free.” (Psalm 146:7)
About Pastor Noah: Noah is a 30-year-old lead pastor, author, and communicator based in Nashville, TN. He has a passion to talk about the person who changed his life: Jesus. For over 10 years Noah has been a trusted voice to followers of Jesus around the globe, speaking at churches, universities, and conferences. In 2023 Noah and his wife Maddy started Way Church in the heart of Nashville, where they saw over 600 people accept Christ in the first year. Noah has written two books: bestseller Holy Habits and Welcome to Manhood. Noah and Maddy have three kids: Lion, Mila, and Navy.

Welcome to Week 4 of our series, How to Bless Your Neighbor! 👋
This week, we're diving into the third practice in the B.L.E.S.S. acronym: Eating. You read that right—sharing a meal isn't just a fun social activity; it's a profound way to live out the mission of Jesus! Let's discover how Jesus used shared meals—even with the most despised people of his day—to affirm their worth and bring healing.
Our Big Idea? In order to BLESS our neighbor, Jesus invites us to share meals together.
What You'll Discover:
In Our Community: Flags of Fellowship 🇮🇱 Before the message, we share a powerful highlight from last Sunday, where our community gathered to place 1,200 Flags of Fellowship on our lawn. This act stands as a visual sign of our unwavering support for the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and a solemn remembrance of the victims of the October 7, 2023, attacks.
A Prayer for Peace 🙏 We also pause to lift up the Middle East, offering a prayer for the safe and swift return of all hostages and for God’s wisdom to secure a lasting peace agreement between Hamas and Israel. #

We all know the pain of feeling unheard—that feeling someone is just "waiting to speak" instead of truly listening. But the simple act of listening is the key to our mission!
This week, we continue How to BLESS Your Neighbor by focusing on the "L"—Listen.
Jesus showed us that being heard is close to being loved when He stopped to hear the blind beggar (Luke 18:35-43) and engaged the man at Bethesda (John 5:1-9). He proves that giving attention is the first act of love. We'll learn how to overcome the barrier of "waiting to speak" and, like Paul in Athens, tune in to the needs around us (Acts 17).
Don't just walk past the opportunities! Learn how to truly listen and connect with others.

BLESS Series: Part 2 - B is for Begin with Prayer Do you ever wonder if your prayers actually make a difference? Pastor Tom Roepke joined Heartfelt Mornings with Mark Zimmerman and Burchon English for what was a cracking conversation.
The focus was from when President Trump quipped on Fox News’ Fox & Friends that brokering peace between Russia and Ukraine might just nudge him up the celestial totem pole—his words, “I want to try and get to heaven if possible… really at the bottom of the totem pole!” (August 19, 2025)—he flung the door wide open for a proper theological chinwag.

We know Israel longed for a strong king (1 Samuel 8, but every ruler left them wanting—except one. Jesus, the humble King on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9). It is Jesus we know who wins our deepest battles through sacrifice, not swords. Though His actions crushed expectations, He reigns as King of Kings.

The Least Supper: Judas’ Betrayal and the Bread of Life
We’re diving in The Chosen Season 5’s powerful portrayal of the Last Supper, where Jesus reveals a betrayer among His disciples. “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me” (John 13:21).
That betrayer? Judas. But why would he do it? Why would Judas give Jesus away?
This week we explore the gripping moment from John 13:21-30, where Jesus dips the bread and hands it to Judas, signaling the betrayal that would lead to His crucifixion. We’ll connect this to John 6—Jesus feeding the 5,000 and declaring Himself the Bread of Life—and uncover the deeper hunger Judas chased: the bread of this world. From the miracle of the loaves and fish to the grumbling crowd who turned away we’ll see a bridge to Exodus 16 and Israel’s wilderness hunger.
Judas wanted more than eternal life—he wanted the "stuff" of this world. His story ends in remorse, a haunting reminder of what happens when we chase fleeting bread over the One who satisfies forever.

This week let's dive into what it truly means to live as a follower of Jesus.
It’s not just about what we say—it’s about the fruit we bear.
We will explore how our lives reflect either the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control) or the fruit of the flesh (selfishness, frustration, anxiety, impatience, and more).
Jesus didn’t call us to polish our flaws but to crucify them and remain connected to Him—the true Vine. So, how pleased is God with the quality and quantity of your fruit? It's about shifting your focus from production to connection through prayer, worship, reading God’s Word, obedience, and Christ-centered community but most of all walking with Him.

Is your faith a contract or a covenant?
We often treat God transactionally: "If I do X, God does Y." But the Bible shows a relational faith, loving God for who He is, not just what He does. From the Israelites to Jonah, Martha, and others, we see the struggle when God doesn't meet our expectations. Are we missing God's heart by focusing on what we get, instead of who He is? How can we truly "seek first [God’s] kingdom" (Matthew 6:33)?

In our second installment of the "Holy Night" series, we delve deeper into the profound message of the Christmas season. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, came to bring us not only peace with God but also peace within ourselves.
The word "advent" signifies "coming," and Jesus' arrival marked a turning point in human history. He came to bridge the gap between us and God, offering forgiveness and redemption to all who believe.
In this episode, we explore the story of the shepherds, lowly figures in society who were the first to witness the birth of Jesus. Their story reflects the universal longing for peace and acceptance that resonates with all of us.
We also discuss the spiritual rejection that the shepherds faced, highlighting the struggle between sin and redemption. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was the ultimate act of love, demonstrating God's willingness to forgive and restore us.
Through the shepherds' experience, we learn that Jesus' message is for everyone, regardless of our social status or past mistakes. He came to bring healing and hope to all who are weary and burdened.
As we approach Christmas, let us take time to reflect on the true meaning of this holy season. Jesus' birth offers us a fresh start, a chance to find peace and reconciliation with God and ourselves.

When that happens, you have two choices: You can try to figure it out on your own, or you can have faith in God’s timing Here's the reality: the way you get spiritual renewal is by spending time with God and it's not a secret that you do that by being persistent.
We're going to look at four things that you need to do to make it happen.

For many of us, when they hear the word "wisdom" we tend to picture an old man with a white beard or one of the characters from Star Wars or Dr. Strange.
The reality is that wisdom is rooted in the character of God. It is also very practical and has huge benefits for our lives today. Wisdom is seeing life clearly through the lens of Scripture.

Jesus told us to love one another as He has loved us and thankfully we have numerous examples throughout the gospels of how Jesus loved...let's look at a couple.

The mark of a Christian is love. While this may seem like an easy mark to hit, it’s much more difficult than many of us expect. The only way we can love well is by beginning with a devoted love for God. Only by receiving the love of God and loving Him in return can we love ourselves and others in a healthy fashion.
No matter the circumstances we find ourselves in, we are meant to love God and love people. During His earthly ministry, Jesus was asked: “Which is the greatest commandment?” His answer helps clarify things for his disciples both then and now; Love God and love people.

How can any of us really know what God's like?
Too often, we view Him from our limited perspective, but it doesn't have to be that way. Together, let's discover how to fill that space with truth.
Do you ever feel like you're all alone? Maybe it seems like no one really sees you or cares? Here's the truth: God sees everything you do. He loves you and cares for you. (And we do, too!) If you need some encouragement, you won't want to miss church this week. See you there!

We did quick drive through the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. The story of the ancient Israelites is a powerful one.
Coming out of the Babylonian captivity, it's almost as if in this "game over" moment of their history, God asked the question, "Continue?" As the Israelites made the decision to return to their home and start again, we looked at the challenges today that God's people have to wrestle with to bring the Kingdom to earth.

We do a deep dive into the concept of "shoes" and what the bible has to say. All of the conversation was to help spur along the Buckner’s Shoes For Orphan Souls collection drive in partnership with Heartfelt Radio.
Buckner works with needy children in the U.S. and abroad to provide new shoes for children who do not have shoes or parents. Buy a brand new pair of socks and sneakers for a child who has never worn shoes before, and include a personal note for the recipient. Each recipient gets their feet washed by a Buckner representative, a new pair of socks and shoes that fit them, the note you’ve written to them, and most importantly, the Gospel message!
Your donation of a new pair of shoes can make an immediate and eternal impact in the life of a child!

This first week we dive into the question: Could Jesus be coming soon?
We need to be reminded of the incredible truth that the gospel hasn't changed.
The Apostle Paul gives a challenge from the book of Galatians with what the gospel really is, what it's not, and what they should do with it. While there are many versions of a false gospel out there today, we need to be reminded that there is only one gospel and it's for both believers and non-believers.
WE all need to be challenged to study the gospel, savor the gospel, and share the gospel.

You may not always be able to change your circumstances, but you can change your attitude. The more you can pause your life and consider how/why you’re thankful, the more you’re on your way to being a thankful person.
What are you thankful for?
When we find life...we find a great faith. When followers of Jesus choose to “lose” earthly lives, sacrificing their comfort and safety in this world, they find true life in Jesus Christ.
Today, our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters are finding life that counts for eternity at the cost of harassment, imprisonment and even death. This weeks message looks at the life of Sabina and Richard Wurmbrand who faithfully advanced the gospel in Romania, abandoning selfish pursuits and obediently surrendering daily to Christ.
Following their decades-long ministry work, Sabina and Richard co-founded The Voice of the Martyrs. We pray for our persecuted Christian family members who choose to walk this path in obedience to Christ. Like Sabina and Richard Wurmbrand, and countless others throughout church history, they are examples for us.

When we see the world’s current events through the lens of the Old Testament book of Chronicles we can learn much. God’s people need to learn to remain strong in the face of adversity, hope-filled in the midst of scarcity, and determined in the face of opposition.
This is the final installment in our series and we learn the answer to the question: Why does Ezra tell us this story? Ezra wants us to know what God does for faithful followers. We also learn the importance of Scripture and that God wants us to know the potential of children.

Most followers of Jesus do not experience the power of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis.
And many Christians do not even have a decent biblical understanding of the role and function of the Holy Spirit.

1) lay the groundwork for a scriptural description of the Holy Spirit;
2) encourage a personal encounter with the power of the Holy Spirit in a person's daily personal walk with Jesus Christ.

Communication is a huge thing. There's all sorts: verbal and non-verbal. Maybe you've heard the classic saying...
"Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary use words." In this final message we're talking about how our words...or more specifically, our stories can change the world.
The big idea: In order to bless our neighbors, Jesus invites us to share how our story intersects with God’s story.
You will find some useful resources here.
The Bible records a number of world-changing shifts. One of the greatest was when Jesus was with his disciples on that Thursday in the Upper Room. Jesus knew what was going to happen later that night and on Friday. Jesus did something that night that changed everything. He turned on its head the lie that if you wanted to be blessed, you have to look out for yourself before anyone else. This week we'll look at how Jesus modeled for us an incredible life changing truth, by setting aside His crown and picking up an apron.
The Big Idea for this week: In order to BLESS our neighbor, Jesus invites us to serve.
Truth is food is something we all enjoy and probably have an opinion about your favorite eats. Despite our affection of good food, we often fail to recognize the power of eating--especially the experience of eating a meal with someone. Something special happens when we gather at the table.
The Big Idea for this week: In order to BLESS our neighbor, Jesus invites us to share meals together. As things open up and we think about how to engage those we know and are praying for, having a meal together might be exactly what it takes to move our relationships along.
In order to BLESS our neighbor, Jesus invites us to begin with prayer and then Listen!

Jesus’ mission is to help people Love God - Love Others - No Limits, and he lived out the B.L.E.S.S. practices showing us how to live that mission too.
The story of Jesus’ death and resurrection is the greatest ever told.
It has the power to completely change the eternal destiny of everyone who hears it.
Palm Sunday. It's the day that we remember when Jesus Christ rode into Jerusalem. It was the grandest of entrances that no one was expecting.

Anxiety and depression are on the rise, dominating the ways young people talk about their generation. While leaders and parents are becoming more aware of these problems, we often aren’t sure how to respond.
God gives us power to be transformed, and invites us to be part of his ministry in transforming others. Jesus doesn’t ask for perfection from his disciples, he simply asks for us to listen and trust.
In this final part we'll look at what it takes to live life with hope.

The world of 2020 has been marked by chaos and cancellations.
Even the new 2021 has caused many to wonder about life.
And we know the church looks different. We all need to be reminded of what Jesus said to Peter about the church over 2,000 years ago: ”Upon this rock I will build my church and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” The reality is that the church will never be cancelled! It was built by Jesus, built through His people and built to last...How to be IN.. FOR...BE THE church.
When you’re pursuing your passion, there are three “P”s that matter most: your people, the problem, and your gift. For many, when we hear the word "wisdom" we picture an old man with a white beard or one of the characters from Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. The reality is that wisdom is rooted in the character of God. It is also very practical and has huge benefits for our lives today. As we begin the new year, let see our lives through a new lens by looking at the old wisdom from Proverbs.

Join us for a new series starting this weekend. God wants more for us than a tepid faith and halfhearted prayers at the dinner table. He’s called you to a life of courage, not comfort. Live courageously.

Joining Mark Zimmerman, morning host at WKJA - 91.9 fm Barberton, OH for a conversation about the two things we shouldn't talk about in public...religion and politics.

The Bible shows us many examples of Jesus’s emotions: love, compassion, righteous anger, sadness, and more.
In this series, we’ll look at how Jesus processed emotions and how following His example can help us see how our own emotions can be used to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.
This week we wrap up the series with a look at what to do when you are sad and need joy. Many times the feeling of sadness comes when we've drifted away from God. We know that emotion can have an impact on our lives.
We will unpack three simple truths that will help you experience Joy in your walk with Jesus as we look at the story of the Prodigal Son and the older brother.

This week we're jumping into the third part of our series on Emotions with a message entitled: The Jesus Way of Anger. Together we'll see that there are a few things we can learn about why Jesus got angry, and what He chose to do when He felt strong emotions. We will learn when we focus our anger on the right things and channel our emotions the right way, we can start to unite a divided world.

Dear Lord,
I come to You today to ask for help. You are my everything. Lord, I need rest. I give You my worry. Take it, Lord. I accept Your peace, love, and understanding. Help me to turn to You and not to myself. Help me to stop doing and start trusting. Help me to wait on Your answers, because I know that they are good. Give me wisdom, hope, and peace. Thank you, Lord, for Your patience and grace. I love You, and I know You love me so much more than I could ever imagine. Amen.

In a day of much uncertainity we need to be confident in what the Church is all about.
We know we’re better together than apart. Yet so many of us are feeling disconnected and even some have feelings of hopeless. We just know something is missing—we need to be confident that in the uncertainty God will build his church...and nothing will prevail against. The days ahead are just that...but in this moment we can be confident.
Join us as we look at another way to see Proverbs 31...seeing the Church in a whole new light. As we look at why the church is so important and how it plays a key role in our spiritual growth and health your invited to share your story of what God has done and is doing! Share it here!

CALLING: It’s not just what we’re good at, or what we choose to do.
Calling is a sacred word that speaks to our innermost beings. We need to be reminded that calling isn’t as much about “what” as it is “who.”
In order to discover God’s true calling on our lives, we need to focus less on what we’re doing and more on what we’re becoming: fully devoted followers of Christ...and claiming it!
What do you want to do with your life? It’s a question that we are asked from the time we are kids. In this current season God is calling us to a new and deeper understanding of what are lives should be about.
This week we have a conversation with Alex Fehr who is serving in ministry with Campus Outreach on the campus of The Ohio State University.
