Nothing in this life is certain. We have learned to hold everything loosely for that very reason. But perhaps there is a constant truth we can hang our hats on, and that is the sovereignty of our God. If God is sovereign, as we'll study, and if we're connected to Him, then we should have tangible peace and security in our souls. We hope you'd tay encouraged!
Those who know God desire to worship God. But why, where and who are we supposed to worship HIm? We will study a unique interaction Jesus has with an unlikely character in order to answer these important questions. Stay encouraged!
Courage is something we all need and desire. Courage is not the absence of fear, the willingness to do what's important in spite of fear. There is nothing that needs courage more than following the Lord Jesus. We will discuss how we can have courage in spite of some fear in our souls, through one single Truth. Staying hydrated could not be more important. Without water, we are useless. As easy as that concept is to understand in the physical realm, we struggle grasping it in the spiritual realm. We like to believe we have a pretty good perspective about life, maybe better than most people. But there is someone who is from above whose perspective is so much better than ours. Once we realize we need divine help in this life, we turn to Jesus for help. Jesus too was a man who needed God's help, so He sought Him in prayer. Our great God loves this world, even though we reside in pure darkness. And because of that great love, He sent the Light to the earth to illuminate our souls. We live in a harsh world. And this harsh world often makes us believe that we too must act harshly in response to it. But as usual, the Lord Jesus came to show us a better way. We are engaged in a spiritual war, and this war will not end until the enemy is defeated and the winner is declared. Those who believe in Jesus are soliders in this battle.
