Episode 188:
In this week's episode, I sit down to talk to Natalie Alzate (better known by her online handle, Natalies Outlet), a content creator known for her DIY “Life Hacks” as well as beauty, fashion and lifestyle advice to her audiences of millions worldwide. Combined, her channels boast over 10.8 million total subscribers & followers with more than 1.2 billion video views. Natalies audience spans Gen Z’ers (particularly young women between the ages of 18 and 20) looking for guidance and tips and tricks on fashion, beauty, DIY tricks, and journaling, as well as inspirational content. She is well-known in the creator space for her upbeat, open stance on mental health, fostering a community of like-minded young people who are searching for inclusive online spaces. Her latest endeavor, Offline Humans, is a space she has cultivated for her fans and growing community to take a social media break and share their journey to finding peace offline.
As a bi-lingual Latina born in Chicago with family being Colombian and heavy latin roots, Natalie grew up very close to her family. This instilled in her a love of community and close relationships. She began studying marketing at college and while there, she needed an outlet and launched her channel as a place where she could share her creativity. This is where Natalies Outlet was born. Over the last ten years, Natalie has grown her community of “outties” to close to 10 million and shares everything from personal milestones to hacks, beauty and fashion trends. Apart from that, Natalie also Co-Hosts a podcast with her husband, The Natalie and Dennis Show. Now that she has spent so much time online, Natalie has decided to focus her time offline as well. Offline Humans launched in 2023 as a dedicated community to enjoy the journey of being present without the distraction of being online.
Join us as we navigate the complexities of the online creator space, from the pressure of follower counts to the evolving dynamics of managing content creation. Natalie shares candid insights about her 10-year journey in the influencer community, the struggles of maintaining authenticity, and the pivotal moments that shaped her career.
We also delve into the impact of personal experiences on one's faith and how mental health struggles in the post-Covid era are prompting many to live more intentionally. Whether discussing the balance between online and offline lives, the significance of genuine connections, or the challenges of setting boundaries in a digital world, this episode is packed with heartfelt stories and invaluable advice, and rethink what it means to live a fulfilled, intentional life—both online and offline.

Episode 169:
In this week's episode, I sit down to talk to Maria Mercedes Blandon, Co-Owner of Stemma Craft Coffee in Downtown Orlando. She shares her story of loss, grief and how the painful moments in her life led her to continue her husbands legacy.
She began her journey in the industry hand in hand with her beloved husband, Alvaro Blandon. His love and devotion for coffee immediately captivated her. Together they traveled and discovered all the wonders behind the small roasted seeds. Their passion grew just as a fruitful tree full of coffee berries.
For several years they worked together at the Hacienda. Although Alvaro’s primary occupation was dentistry, he never missed an opportunity to get involved in the harvest. He always helped the great family that runs the Hacienda “La Misericordia” together with the Blandon family.
After the loss of her husband, she decided to continue the family legacy with her daughter. Determined to enter the sector and hit the ground running, just as her husband would have, she obtained her import license to introduce their coffee in the United States. Thanks to this, she created contacts in the industry and began selling her own coffee.

Episode 158:
Brittni is a wife, mother, pastor, evangelist, author, and passionate advocate for women involved in the sex industry.
Brittni didn't always lead a life in ministry. She was once named one of the world's most famous porn stars. At the pinnacle of her career in the adult entertainment industry, she had acquired fame, money, and success by having landed over 250+ roles in film. However, the prominent memories she recalls during this time were the deepest, darkest days of despair, leading her to survive by way of drugs, alcohol, and ultimately, failed attempts of suicide. Through a divine series of events, she began to encounter the love of God, which became substantial enough for her to make a dramatic, unexpected decision by all who knew her to leave the industry overnight.
Now she not only leads Jesus Loves Porn Stars but also travels around the world preaching the gospel and sharing the love of God that set her free and is a firm believer if He did it for her He can do it for anyone else who would just believe in Him.

This week I talked with Therapist and Educator, Simone Saunders. We talk about
how our childhood affects our relationships as adults, we talk about how trauma can affect our brain and body and how to get in touch with your feelings instead of numbing out or being on fight or flight. Simone Saunders is a graduate level Registered Social Worker and therapist in Calgary, Alberta. She is the founder of The Cognitive Corner—a group psychological practice that focuses on providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive psychological care and psychoeducation to Albertans and Ontarians. Episode 79:Solo Episode sharing life updates and shared part of what I shared at the Her Story women's Event.
What are you hiding behind?
What are areas you need to heal or uncover?
* trigger warning - depression, suicide, sexual abuse
I got vulnerable & opened up about my childhood trauma, cycle of toxic relationships and how God redeemed my story at my lowest.
I shared a "Christian" facade I was hiding behind. Question that made me reflect:
Imagine, if what you were wearing on the outside was what was on the inside and actually was what people saw.
Our direct pain, will be the heart of our purpose.
God will use our pain to direct us to those we can help heal through our story.
Verses:
Isaiah 61:3 “And provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”
2 Corinthians 1:4 NIV
4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Salguero talks about what society says about Confidence VS what being a Confident Woman really is, knowing who God says you are. She shares how to be assertive while dealing with gender stereotypes in the work place. She also talks about being a woman that is driven, but also who knows when to rest and how to find a rhythm while having different responsibilities. She encourages woman to learn to be, instead of do, set boundaries, and not let the opinions of others weigh down your life.
The Rev. Jeanette Salguero—pastor at the multicultural The Gathering Place in Orlando, FL, and vice president of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition—is a powerful voice on issues that affect Latino communities in the United States. Focusing on immigration, education, and health, Salguero’s leadership offers an important voice for growing diversity and changing demographics in our country. In addition to her advocacy work, Salguero has provided consulting leadership for governmental agencies such as the Department of Health & Human Services, the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services, and the American Psychological Association around minority health disparities. Jeanette has worked extensively on consulting around issues of multi-cultural integration with para-church organizations and denominations such as the Wesleyan Church, the Reformed church in America, and the Church of the Nazarene.
