It's 2007. A 9-year-old girl and her father go to Lebanon to visit family who still live in the Palestinian refugee camp Nahr al Bared. Unbeknownst to anyone, a war broke out while they were in the camp. The war involved the Lebanese Army and Fatah al Islam, and Palestinian refugees were caught in the middle. The 9-year-old girl was my sister, and I chat to her (and morbidly laugh) about her experience recounting what she saw and felt, and how it impact her until this day.
