2 Kings 2:1-14 - Sunday, January 19, 2020 - Evening Service - Before Elijah is taken up to heaven, Elijah and Elisha take one last journey together. Each step of the journey, we see Elisha stay true to his calling to succeed Elijah as the next prophet.
John 21:1-14 - Sunday, January 26, 2020 - Evening Worship - After His resurrection, Jesus appears to his disciples while they were out fishing. As we are encountered by our Lord, we are challenged with the question "What Really Matters?".
Acts 26:19-32 - Sunday, January 26, 2020 - Morning Service - In Acts 25, Paul appeals to Caesar while presenting his defense before Festus. Festus grants Paul's request but must give an account to Caesar regarding Paul's charges. Having found that Paul committed no crime, Festus requests the help of King Agrippa. In today's passage, Paul presents his defense to King Agrippa and reveals his desire that all who hears him might believe in Jesus.

Luke 2:39-52 - Sunday, December 29, 2019 - Morning Service - Jesus and his family visits Jerusalem during the Feast of the Passover when his is twelve. When his family returns home, Jesus stays behind in Jerusalem. After discovering that Jesus was not with their group, Mary and Joseph search for Jesus only to find him back at the temple.

Acts 21:31 - 22:16 - Sunday, December 1, 2019 - Morning Service - Paul is beaten outside the temple by the angry mob of Jews. A Roman commander and his soldiers carry Paul away from the crowds to be imprisoned only for Paul to request to speak to the people and give his defense.
Acts 21:27-30 - Sunday, November 24, 2019 - Morning Service - In these verses, we read of an encounter with Jews in Asia as they provoke the city against Paul on account of the Gospel and the Gentiles that were in his company. Paul is dragged out of the temple and the doors were shut. Today, we contemplate this example of man's understanding versus God's intention of the use of His temple.
Acts 21:1-6 - Sunday, November 10, 2019 - Morning Service - Paul's ship makes a pit stop in Tyre, while on his way to Jerusalem, to unload cargo. While there, the disciples in the area warn Paul not to go to Jerusalem, being inspired by the Holy Spirit. However, Paul, also following the Holy Spirit, is convinced that he needs to continue to Jerusalem. How is it possible that both Paul and the local church were being inspired by the Holy Spirit but coming up with different answers to what Paul should do next? Brother Mike breaks down the passage to help us apply this same scenario in our own lives.
Ephesians 1:3-14 - Sunday, November 3, 2019 - Evening Service - Brother Mike explores the opening chapter of Paul's letter to the Ephesians to remind us of the manifestations of God's grace in our lives.
Acts 20:17-36 - Sunday, November 3, 2019 - Morning Service - In today's passage from Acts, we hear Paul's testimony to the elders of the church in Ephesus that he has preached the Gospel boldly, not holding back for their sake. This discourse reminds the church that we are called to live not for ourselves but for the welfare of others. There are those around us seeking for meaning and purpose and hope and we have opportunity to share the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:1-11 - Sunday, November 10, 2019 - Evening Service - Paul shares practical suggestions about how to share our sense of longing for the kingdom of God to be built and the sense of joy to bring Christ to others.
Acts 19:11-20 - Sunday, October 13, 2019 - Morning Service - Brother Mike unpacks this passage as we see God continue to work through Paul in Ephesus. As the community watches extraordinary miracles take place, there were those who wanted to profit from the name of Jesus.
John 13:1-4 - Sunday, October 20, 2019 - Evening Service - When we celebrate the Lord's Supper, Brother Mike leads us in a time of remembrance and reflection. Using the story of Jesus' washing of the disciples feet, he asks us to focus on those moments where we have known that Jesus has washed our feet.
Acts 20:7-12 - Sunday, October 27, 2019 - Morning Service - Paul and a contingent of his fellow brothers in Christ travel to Troas, where Paul pours out his insight and experiences from his travels to the church in an upper room. We see several examples of God's life-giving power in the Gospel message, the breaking of bread, and the resurrection of a young man.
Sunday, October 27, 2019 - Evening Service - How should we measure the success of the church? Brother Mike suggests that it can be measured through two lenses: 1) How do we apply the Greatest Commandments to our lives and of those around us? and 2) How are we learning to adapt to the Greatest Commission? Simply put, the health of our church should be measured by our ability to love God, love people, and make disciples.
Sunday, October 13, 2019 - Evening Service - Brother Mike brings a message of encouragement to two new deacons and a charge to the church to support them as they endeavor to fill the calling set before them.

Acts 18:23-28 - Sunday, September 22, 2019 - Morning Service - In this passage, we meet Apollos, who was mighty in knowledge of the Scriptures and acquainted with John's baptism. After hearing him speak, Aquila and Priscilla follow up with Apollos and deepen this believer's understanding of God.
Acts 19:1-7 - Sunday, September 29, 2019 - Morning Service - The ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit is to create an insatiable thirst within us to share the Gospel with a lost world. We need to be in a position to receive what the Holy Spirit is doing within us, recognize the opportunity around us, and be one in mission.
Acts 18:12-17 - Sunday, September 15, 2019 - Morning Service - Brother Mike continues to explore the Book of Acts as we hear about Paul being brought before Gallio, proconsul of Achaia, by the Jews who wanted to silence the Gospel message. We hear of God's chosen people being accustomed to creating unholy alliances and how that affects them as a people. What lessons can we learn and apply to our walk with God?
Colossians 2:6-7 - Sunday, September 15, 2019 - Evening service - Pastor Carson provides a framework for discipleship by looking at Jesus and his followers to understand the context of what would be expected from a Jewish Rabbi and his disciples. Are we living out our faith with the same intensity, devotion, and preparation? Is our relationship with God casual or intentional? How does this attitude flow toward our relationships with others?
Acts 18:1-11 - Sunday, September 8, 2019 - Morning Service - Paul leaves Athens for Corinth, befriends Aquila and his wife Priscilla, and stays in Corinth for a year and a half. Brother Mike uses this time in Paul's life to outline a lifestyle for the church planter. We are encouraged to listen to God's calling on our lives of evangelism and mission in our own sphere of influence.
