Always see the Bible in the context of a bigger story of redemption in Jesus Christ. The story of your life is intended to point people to the story of God's love in Jesus.
Just as God gave Jacob a new name, He is gracious to us and has provided our salvation in Christ. May we never cease to be overwhelmed by God's grace that He has poured out on us.
It is wise to seek wisdom. In whatever we do today, we need wisdom. We are driven to pray to this end.
We see Jacob wrestling with God in Genesis 32. Might we boldly seek God's face, crying out to Him day and night.
Let us pray in a multitude of ways that God will take barrenness and turn it into blessing.

We are prone to exchange intimacy with God for immediate gratification. God, help us to value intimacy with You over the fleeting pleasure of this world.
