About Our Guest:

Coni Gelep Beck is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has faithfully served the Lord for more than 37 years. In addition to serving in leadership at her local church for many years, Coni served as a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for eleven years. While serving, she had the opportunity to help lead teams and preach in more than a dozen nations.

Coni grew up with an abusive step father, who tormented her mother, two sisters and her for 14 years. Her response to the abuse was to turn to drug and alcohol use. Living at times in her car and on the streets to avoid arrest, Coni was sexually assaulted several times and lived in fear for her life.

At 21, after nearly 7 years of running from Jesus, Coni committed her life to the Lord, only to find out a few weeks later, that she was half way through a pregnancy. These years taught her how to trust in the goodness and Fatherhood of God and depend on Him for supernatural provision.

Coni now serves as the Pastor at a local men's homeless shelter and continues to disciple the broken and downtrodden. Her heart is to see the captives set free and build the Kingdom of God!

Lori Vober and her husband Dainis reside in Goodyear, Arizona. Lori was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but considers Texas to be her home since she spent her high school and college years in the Lone Star State. She graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Lori and Dainis met in Minnesota, when she was transferred there for her job after graduating from college. They were married in Texas in 1998, and lived in Minnesota for five years, before relocating to Arizona in 2003. They adopted a sibling group of three kids from Colombia, South America in 2011. Lori and Dainis are members of Desert Springs Community Church, and Lori enjoys being an active part of the Women’s Ministry. She has had the blessed opportunity for several years now to serve as a weekly Bible study leader, and loves connecting with women each week. Lori suffered an intracerebral hemorrhagic stroke at age 29, and then developed epilepsy due to the stroke. She is a walking miracle, and felt called to share her story, and her journey of faith and perseverance, to encourage others.

Lori believes God has a plan for each of us, and her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God has a plan for each of us, but leaves it up to us and our own free will whether we will have a faith in Him and follow Him. That is why she titled the book “Choices”. Life is about your choices!

Join Kristin as she shares 8 Tips to Finding Your Word for the New Year. This has been one of her most popular teachings on her blog over the years and you will not want to miss this episode. As 2022 is upon us, what direction, what word or phrase do you have for this coming year? Over the past few years there has been a movement of change in how we view the new year coming in and our focus. For many, New Year’s Day is about resolutions, goals we plan to focus on for the upcoming year. The down side of resolutions is that we often set ourselves up for failure instead of new beginnings. With resolutions we focus on what we need to change, what is wrong, or habits we need to do no more. Transforming our thinking to finding a word, theme or phrase for the year empowers us to move into new thinking, new seasons, and new growth. These powerful tips will equip you to partner with God for your life in 2021 and find the right word for the New Year.

Join me and my guest Lauren Crews as we talk about the process of her breaking out of the chains and generational curses of abuse and unhealthiness. Those chains can be carried on in our own families, but Lauren did the work to breakout of old patterns she was raised with. Lauren shares her brave story of pursuing and trusting God with her life as he transformed her from one growing up in abuse to one who is restored. This show is for all who have been raised in unhealthy family systems who are ready for healing and restoration in their lives.

About Our Guest:

Growing up, Lauren faced physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and parental rejection. This combined with rape as a teenager, convinced Lauren that she was a complete disappointment and unusable by God. But God's love and faithfulness challenged her to trust Him and walk with confidence into her calling as a wife, mother, teacher, and author. Her message is that our struggles do not disqualify us but equip us to be the exact women God can use to build His kingdom and yes, to even be Proverbs 31 women.

Join Kristin as she shares 8 Tips to Finding Your Word for the New Year. This has been one of her most popular teachings on her blog over the years and you will not want to miss this episode. As 2021 is upon us, what direction, what word or phrase do you have for this coming year?
