We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 2 Thessalonians1:3-5

Daniel 10:1In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, but the appointed time was long; and he understood the message and had understanding of the vision. (Daniel 8:26, 9:22, Hab 2:2-3)

1 Kings 18: 44-46- Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’” 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Isaiah 51:16I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plantthe heavens,

Now is the time:

·       Exodus 9:5 Then the Lord appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow the Lord will do this thing in the land.

·       2 Kings 4:17 But the woman conceived and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.

·       Galatians 4:2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.

·       2 Samuel 20:5 So Amasa went to assemble the men of Judah. But he delayed longer than the set time which David had appointed him.

Matthew 15:13But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

John 15:16 AMPCYou have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide],

2 Corinthians 4:7-9 - But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed

1Timothy 4:14- Do not neglect the Gift that is in you.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
2 Kings 4:1-7 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”
2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few.
4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels and set aside the full ones.”
5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.
6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

John 7:37-39 Amplified Classic Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! 38- He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. 39- But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive.

Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand. Proverbs 19:21 AMPC

1) Always follow the voice of the Lord; never follow the applause of the people! Accolades should be appreciated, but never required!

2) Train yourself to hear the voice of the Lord in the midst of a crisis! When God tells us what He wants to do through us, we will face a crisis of belief. What you do reveals what you believe about God, regardless of what you say. When God speaks, it will always cause a crisis of belief.

3) Pay attention to the so-called “unpopular places” God sends you, the same way you pay attention to the so-called “popular places”!

4) Only say the things God has said!

5) Understand that some people may not agree with your purpose, but they will know and cannot deny that you were created for that purpose! Some people will be mad and jealous of you.

6) Never fear opposition! Opposition is always your confirmation either way!

7) Remember it’s only your job to speak God's words; it’s His job to perform it!

8) If you’re truly hearing the voice of the Lord you should start to see what He’s saying!

Life is more than just passing through to get to a better place; even though that will be the result, we must believe that life is much more and that the reason we were put on the earth is not to do time or to buy time but accomplish something with the time we have been given. We must arrive at a place in our lives where we are convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt that we have been created on purpose for a purpose!

“On purpose” means intentional or deliberate. God’s plan for creating us was intentional and deliberate, and there had to be a process of planning which would have crystallized the details for the finished product. My friends, I want to make this statement a personal one as you say it out loud so you can hear yourself, “I am created on purpose for a purpose!”

Acts 20:24 - But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Grace, by definition, is undeserved favor (approval, kindness, forgiveness), which is exactly what God has done for us in sending Jesus to die on the cross as payment for our sins. We do deserve to be punished for our sins, but God knew the price was just too steep for us to pay, so He and Jesus paid it for us.

Joshua 1:11- After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: (Moving for Devonshire Place)

2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.

3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.

5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.

6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

11 “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’

Psalm 63:1 O God, you are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

Then Joshua rose early in the morning
Joshua 3:1-5 Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over.
2 So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp,
3 and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. (1 Samuel 30:8)
4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.”
5 and Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

The words we use have tremendous power. The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). I believe that our prayers will have more power and a greater anointing when our everyday life is filled with words that uplift and bring grace to others (Ephesians 4:29). A holy life is a powerful life when it comes to seeing answers to prayer. Jesus’ prayers were heard because of His reverent submission (Hebrews 5:7). Righteous living and right speech come from a right heart before God.

It is important for all of us who want to have an effective prayer life to carefully watch our speech.

Luke 24:1-6Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.

2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

Romans 3:24-26 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Roman 5:6-8 - For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

My ‘SHIFTING’ season

'To everything, there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:' Ecclesiastes 3:1

Do you find yourself appearing to be in the same situation, going through the same thing year after year? Don’t be shocked it is not because of the devil, it is simply because when God shifted regarding His purpose, most believers stayed in the same spot. But today, we declare, decree and command that when God shifts, we will shift! {Deuteronomy 1:6-8, 1 Samuel 16:1, Psalm 32:8}

Shift Lord Shift Lord Shift Lord Shift!

❖ When I was typing this word as God was downloading it in me, at one point in time I wanted to use an exclamation mark, however, when I went to do it, I had to hold down a particular key before I was able to use it!

❖ The shift key is a modifier key, it is used to type capital letters or upper characters. There are normally two shift keys.
We must shift in every area of our lives:

To shift means: it is time to change course en route to our destination.

The change, of course, is not insinuating that the creator needed a Plan-B, the change of course was already factored into the creator's Plan- For your life.

Acts 9:1-6 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. (1 King 9:17)

4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” (John 10:27)

5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” (1 Samuel 3:1-11)

6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Gather the Information)

Say What you Want to See | Speaking things into Existence
Romans 4:17 - God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.

Of course, it’s not remotely about the power of our words; it is about the power of God’s promises and His faithfulness to keep those promises. Our promises won’t show up because we “confessed” or “declared” certain words but because God promised he would do it.

Romans 4:21 - and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

I'm Fainting but I’m still Fighting | 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith

Judges 8:2-5 And he said unto them, what have I done now in comparison of you? Is not the gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim better than the vintage of Abiezer?

3 God hath delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of you? Then their anger was abated toward him when he had said that.

4 And Gideon came to Jordan, and passed over, he, and the three hundred men that were with him, faint, yet pursuing them.

5 And he said unto the men of Succoth, Give, I pray you, loaves of bread unto the people that follow me; for they be faint, and I am pursuing after Zebah and Zalmunna, kings of Midian.

• Gideon had already taken two of the Midianite princes and was after two others. And we see here that by this time he and his men were exhausted/fainting. Yes, they were faint — yet they were pursuing.
• Now, this was natural warfare, we want to think about fighting the spiritual battles that we face. We can become faint — and yet, we can continue to pursue on.

Covered with the Robe of Righteousness

Isaiah 61:10 - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness.

Zechariah 3:1-5

What does it mean to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? It simply means that when God looks at us, He sees us through Jesus Christ and His finished work of the cross. We are completely accepted by God and are clothed with Jesus' robes of righteousness.

Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand. Proverbs 19:21 (Dig Dipper)

5. Never try to qualify for your God-ordained purpose, you're already qualified.

· 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 Amplified - Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God. 6 [It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers.

· 2 Corinthians 9:8-10 Ampc - God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work.

6. It's all a process (Journey)sometimes we may be developed in one area of our God-ordained purpose, while God is developing other areas, the KEY is not to lose hope.

· Isaiah 14:24-27 - The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, “Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand: That I will break the Assyrian in My land, And on My mountains tread him underfoot. Then his yoke shall be removed from them, and his burden removed from their shoulders. This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it?

· 1Kings 19:7 – the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.

7. Remember you didn't choose him, he chose you!

· John 15:16 - You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain.

· 1 Peter 4:11 - If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies.

· Romans 11:29 Amplified - God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.

8. Make sure God called you to do it, not you or your parents. It is a great mistake to become a minister, especially a pastor, unless you have received a specific call from God. Read - 1 Samuel 3

· Acts 13:2 - As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

· Hebrews 5:4 - and no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God

· Luke 9:1-2,6 - Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. 2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand. Proverbs 19:21

1. You must annihilate your self-confidence. How? Your infirmities will do it (Something you’re weak at). Your infirmities are one of the greatest things to help you develop your God-ordained purpose; your infirmities mean more to you than you think. It prevents you from trusting in yourself. Read Jeremiah 1:12, Romans 4:20-21.

· Luke 18:9 He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous.

· Jeremiah 17:5, 7 - Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. 7“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.

· 2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.

2. Our job is not to achieve our job is to receive! Isaiah 55:11, Mark 16:20, 2 Corin 6:1

· Revelation 5:12 -“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive powerand riches and wisdom, and strength and honorand glory and blessing!”

· John 14:12 -“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

3. God always calls us out of something into something. Exodus records how God led his people out of bondage, while Joshua tells us how he led his people into blessings. Psalms 105:37

· Deuteronomy 6:23 - Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land.

· Psalm 68:6 - God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity.

· 1 Peter 2:9 - But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

4. You'll always be unprepared for your God-ordained purpose. David wasn't prepared for his level of anointing Read Luke 15:20

· 1 Samuel 16:10-12 - Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.”And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!

We are completely accepted by God and are clothed with Jesus robes of righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.

Revelation 20:11-12 - Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Revelation 12:10 the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night.

Acts 20:24 ~ But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

You do not have to be perfect to receive it from him, you do not always have to think the best thoughts to receive it from him, you don’t have to outdo the next person to receive it from him, you don’t have to do all the things you may think you need to do to receive God’s GRACE, the only thing you need to do is “Believe in Him” to receive from him.

 Romans 3:21-26 - 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

God is not governed by the time he is over time, but for us to understand what he is trying to get us to see, he must use things we can relate to **like time.

Revelation 1:3 - Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.**

➢ Success through God’s eyes is different from the world’s point of view, through God’s eyes if we are faithful to our God-ordained purpose it counted as a success.
➢ God does not call us to do something unless He equips us for it. 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC
➢ Do not spend the rest of your life feeling like a failure because if God called you to do it your assignment will not return void.

Acts 20:32 - So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

Romans 5:1-2 - Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 4:16 – Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace.

Our FAITH does not move God, our FAITH gives us access into GRACE, God has put all the believer’s inheritance in GRACE.

When we make a demand by FAITH, FAITH goes to GRACE and tell GRACE "Michael is trying to make a withdrawal from his inheritance for such and such," GRACE then goes inside HIMSELF and pulls out what I'm making a demand for, then He gives it to FAITH, FAITH brings it to me, and my Born-Again Spirit receives it INSTANTLY, once my soul gets a hold of it (meaning my soul is aligned with my born-again spirit) It'll MANIFEST from the spiritual realm to the physical realm.

2 Corinthians 12:9 – and He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you.

God did not just give us grace (His empowerment) to rescue us from our sins; He also gave us the grace to live successfully on this earth. Many Christians do not understand how to tap into the power that God has placed in them.

THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD

Acts 20:24 - But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Grace, by definition, is undeserved favor (approval, kindness, forgiveness), which is exactly what God has done for us in sending Jesus to die on the cross as payment for our sins. We do deserve to be punished for our sins, but God knew the price was just too steep for us to pay, so He and Jesus paid it for us.

Romans 6:12 - Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body
John 1:17 - For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:8-9 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace.

“ANYWHERE BUT BACKWARDS”

Philippians 3:13- Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.

Ø  God will never use a person until that person has closed the account on the past, once the past is closed; God brings that person into the position of going forward

~ Ephesians 4:22,24Put off the Old man, Put on the NEW man!

Author Henry Cloud has ten principles in his book “Never Go Back” he said once we learn them and apply them, we’ll never go back to our old ways of doing things.

Ø  Never Again- return to what hasn’t worked

~ Isaiah 55:11 - My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void

Ø  Never Again- do anything that requires you to be someone you’re not

~ 1 Peter 4:10-As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another

Ø  Never Again- try to change another person

~ Romans 12:2 -do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind

Ø  Never Again- believe that you can please everyone

~ 1 Corinthians 10:33 - just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit.

Ø  Never Again- choose short-term comfort over long-term benefits

~ Jeremiah 15:16 - Your words were found, and I ate them,

Ø  Never Again- trust someone or something with flaws

~ Jeremiah 17:5,7 - Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord”

Ø  Never Again- take your eyes off the big picture

~ Proverbs 19:21 Amplified ~ Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.

Ø  Never Again- neglect to do due diligence.

Ø  Never Again- fail to ask why you are where you are.

Ø  Never Again- forget that your inner life determines your outer success

~ 1 Timothy 4:13 - Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you

Exodus 14:15 - And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell my people to go forward

Jeremiah 7:24 - Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.

You can always tell if a person is living by true bible faith because that person has put themselves in a position where they can’t go back! Closing: 1 King 19:19-21
