On this show I am finally going to share with you an interview that I thought I had lost months ago with George Ward of the Shhh, the Secret Podcast. I first had George on and the sound quality (on my end not his) was terrible so George agreed to come back on again, then I somehow lost the recording for a few months. After going on George’s FB Livestream Sunday Funday, I thought this is the perfect time to release this lost show. On this show we talk about Reddit mysteries, different internet puzzles and A858.

On this show we are going to talk about a hoard of Silver objects from the Roman Empire that still to this day has controversy surrounding it! It first started to appear in the marketplace in the 1980’s,and since then multiple countries from Hungary, to Lebanon have fought over its origin and ownership. Multiple deaths, and questionable suicides have surrounded this hoard and to this day it stats in a vault, not in a museum.

For this Second Season the CodeBar is pleased to announce a new partnership with the website Area’s Grey. Areas Grey is a travel blog for treasure hunters that features tips and reviews, treasure posts, a forum, dedicated research and hosted treasure hunts!
On this show I recently had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Nathan and Tabitha, the pirate crew of the website Pirate Island Club. Nathan and Tabitha create and run Boots on the Ground Treasure hunts throughout the State of Wisconsin, and they have a new hunt launching on July 5th.
Nathan is an amazing author who creates treasure hunts around his series of books featuring Kayak Jack. This book is your map to three different treasures worth $1000 each!
There is a lot more to learn about the Wisconsin hunts so make sure you give this podcast a listen.

On this show I recently had the please of speaking with Paul the creator of Puzzle Trails.
Have you ver had the chance to play an outdoor escape game with a set of puzzles built around a series of locations spread out across a town or city. These games can be expensive for the author to set up and run and the price tag for the player often reflects that. Puzzle Trail aims to make it easy to write and run low-to-zero infrastructure outdoor escape games where the puzzles are built around things already existing in the environment like a natural feature or a piece of public art, and the briefing, location map and any other tools you need to complete the trail are all delivered via a website that you can use with any modern smartphone without having to install any additional apps.
There is a lot more to learn so listen as Paul and I talk about Puzzle Trails.

On t**his show I finally get to have my Treasure Hunting Partner and creator of the amazing intro music to the podcast Nick Spera on and we are going to talk all about the Bossall Treasure. Nick and I have worked together solving hunts for a few years, and it was great to sit back and chat about some of our early hunts, as well as how we and the whole Team Fourtune solved and found the Lady Lorraine Cross that had been hidden on the Lytham Marsh for NINE years!

This show is all about the legend of the Basing House Hoard. During the English Civil War the 300 room Basing House Mansion was constantly under siege from Parliamentarian forces, during this time did the Marquess of Winchester hide his gold on the property to stop it being seized, and is it still there to be found?

This show is all about Polybius, the Man, the Cipher and the Urban Legend. From the earliest days of man codes and ciphers have been used to communicate important information over long distances safely. The Polybius Checkerboard/cipher/square is one of the earliest ciphers used to make sure information is only read by the person it was intended for. But who was Polybius the man and what was the Urban legend that was spawned in the Pacific Northwest in the 90’s that used his name! Listen in and I will give you a taste, and perhaps, make you think of Polybius in a different way.

CodeBar Live Show 12– Gravity Falls with Special Guest Hayden.
Welcome everyone to ‘Live from the CodeBar’ recorded from the code themed bar of Fenwood Manor. I am your guide on this adventure, Rob. After a few weeks off because of some technical issues and because it is the summer after all the CodeBar is BACK! On this show I finally got one of my best friends to join me, my editor and Brother Stephen and a very special guest, his son (my nephew) Hayden. I asked Hayden to pick any topic he wanted to talk about since he is a fan of the show and boy did he come prepared. The Gravity Falls ARG/Cipher Hunt ran from July through Aug 2016, and almost circled the globe, so join Stephen, Hayden and myself as we break down this hunt, as well as catch up as brothers who live on opposite sides of the world should!

On this show we will take one of the biggest ciphers used in the movie the Ottendorf Cipher or Book Cipher used on the back of the Declaration of Independence and break it down in the usual CodeBar way BUT with the help of Aubrey and Emily we tie in all things National Treasure and we also have an awesome conversation.

This new hunt consists of a series of letters, poems and images that when solved will lead you to the Horn of Magistrum treasure proxy hidden somewhere in the continental United States.
CodeBar Cocktail
St Germain’s Rouge Corpse Reviver
Guaranteed to bring your soul back from the living dead,
This devilishly deathly drink is a deliciously dirty red!
Take mother’s ruin, an ounce of gin.
And two ounces of Cherry Mariner sin.
Add murderous Absinthe if you dare,
But just an eight of a teaspoon, take great care.
A dash of lemon juice juice will cut the sweet,
Then add some ice to remove the heat.
Shake till the blood runs dirty pink,
And then it’s time to sink your drink!

Welcome to 'Live from the CodeBar', recorded from the code themed bar of Fenwood Manor. On our second show I will finish up the story of Masquerade, the armchair treasure hunt that started it all!
After Kit Williams released Masquerade, the book and hunt was an instant success, but what followed was not what was expected, from the solve to the scandal, Part 2 will discuss what happened when the Golden Hare was finally found, and what happened to the treasure.
Pub Grub Review
On this show I will offer the first of many Pub Grub Reviews, these will be short segments reviewing either a book, podcast, movie, TV series or something else code, cipher, puzzle or treasure related. This weeks special on the menu is a review of the puzzle/treasure hunt feature film 3 Day Weekend Written and Directed by Wyatt McDill and staring Maya Stojan, Morgan Krantz, Nathan Phillips, and Scott McDonald.
